Eadie Navhelan
|
“Hey, are you implying Hania and I aren’t ladies, Karsa?”
Eadie *tut-tuts* “The last guy who said I wasn’t a lady got his arm broken while we were jell-o wrassling.”
We'd need Razmir 'imself to move the lot of us.
“Well that’s lucky, Karsa.”
Eadie smiles gormlessly. “‘Cos we’re going to see Razmir Ibn Chablis now, remember?”
Karsa Ibn Jad
|
No, I was calling you fat... mutters Karsa under his breath as he ducks away from Eadie.

If our dodgy sorcerer is heading to this cemetery we best get after him and sharpish. How long is the trip lad?
Karsa senses that the man is in fact quite sincere about trying to help and he seems to be telling the truth.
"It is several hours a way but you should be able to make it in less than a day."
"Can you point us in the direction of some fast steeds
"Right this way." Al’Jahar Abu-Targos leads you across the street and a few blocks down to a stable where he procures each of you a horse for a couple of days. "Don't worry. I have this for you. My Uncle was a Pathfinder and would have wanted the help when it cam his way."
With the steeds you are able to make up a good amount of time and reach the chapel in a few short hours.
On a lonely promontory overlooking the sea, the memorial chapel of Ubaidah Abd-Hikmah presides over the gravestones of Sarenrae’s faithful. Scoured clean by the restless winds near the sea, many of the stones’ inscriptions are as forgotten as their inhabitants. The forlorn cries of gulls drift on the breeze. The ancient chapel’s iron doors stand closed, but fresh scrapes mar their rusted metal.
In a nearby palm an owl hoots into the distance while inside the chapel comes the faint and distinct sounds of pry-bars and hammers. Lying behind one of the tombstones lies the near-sighted caregiver that snores soundly.
Karsa Ibn Jad
|
Far enough away, so as not to be heard, Karsa finalises his spell preparations. He mutters several more spells, moving around the group absentmindedly tapping them as he goes.
As previously mentioned, Karsa activates his wand of heightened awareness, and casts shield and mirror image Images: 1d4 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4 on himself in addition to the longer duration extended resist fire and heroism. He will cast heroism on Kuriq, Grint and Vurgen and Resist Fire on Kuriq, Eadie and Hania (I think Grint has his own and Vurgen shows as having it)
This close to their infernal enemy Karsa''s demeanour has changed again. The complaining and exaggeration are gone, replaced by a quiet determination. His gaze returns often to the doors of the chapel and he scowls, muttering to himself, not bloody well again...not on my watch
Eadie Navhelan
|
Eadie paints her armor with alchemical grease, draws her enchanted falchion and checks she still has a potion of CLW handy before the group moves towards the entrance of the tomb.
“I don’t think it’s worth interrogating the caretaker. I say let’s go straight in.”
The warrior checks the chapel’s iron doors carefully for traps.
Take 10 Perception: 10 + 15 = 25
Kuriq
|
Kuriq as an ifrit has natural fire resistance 5, and also fast healing is he is exposed to fire dmg. Thank you for the offer though!
Kuriq thanks Karsa for the respiratory temporary boost and cast his own (divine favor) on himself before the party attempts to open the door. Calling for divine intervention to banish his foes. He also helps Eadie check the door for any magical enhancements. "Does the door look safe at least?"
Detect magic.
Vurgan of Kassem
|
as previously mentioned phantom blood resist energy fire as spells cast on himself
"hope that owl ain't a familiar" He wakes the old caretaker.
"Hello. I am Vurgam of Kassem with the pathfinder society. We have just arrived on these horses. Could you look after them as we sort out whoever it is who is trying to wreck your tomb" he nods towards the sound of hammers
Master Grint
|
Grint isn't expecting the talking to do much good so he starts to prepare some infusions and starts to drink some of the potions and mixtures he prepared earlier. Once he has finished Grint taps a few choice locations to make sure everything is where it should be.

Vurgan wakes the old caretaker who sits up holding his head. He looks at Vurgan confused. "Wha...what happened?" He crawls to his feet shakily and grabs the reins as if by habit as he looks even more confused as Vurgan and a group of Pathfinders walk away.
the door bears no traps and inside you find the newly appointed Pathfinder and groom Farendir as well as what looks to be five other Pathfinders that look like identical twins to yourselves except for the fact that they are much larger. In fact almost double your size.
Karsa: 1d20 + 6 + 4 ⇒ (9) + 6 + 4 = 19
Kuriq: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (13) + 5 = 18

Vurgan: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (10) + 1 = 11
Hania: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (19) + 4 = 23
Eadie: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6
Raamiz Ibn-Chadli: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7
Pathfinders: 1d20 - 1 ⇒ (11) - 1 = 10
Let me know if I missed anything pertinent as there were a lot of buffs. I didn't add in anything like heroism as it will only affect your own rolls.

Eadie frowns. “Hmm … So are you the evil mastermind behind this whole caper then?”
Wait. Wait. That would mean …
NO! IT CANNOT BE!
*GASP* “Farendir the Silver Pathfinder and Razmir the Living god ARE THE SAME PERSON!!”
Hania_
|
I just want to also point out that aura of courage and aura of justice affect those within 10 ft of Hania.
Hania calls out, "Any of you who wish to surrender, throw down your weapons. Otherwise, we will smite you and prevent you from doing evil." Then she moves forward to where she can reach Not-Eadie and slashes at her/him.

Kuriq
|
Kuriq looks oddly and thoroughly confused at Eadie, What? and then at the crowd of giants. "What?" And is even more confused.
He turns around the corner to restore his mind to sanity. He mumbles a little prayer to Saranrae, Divine judgement, shall see it's day. No more evil will have it's way.
5 ft, swift to judgement, standard action cast flames of faithful.
Am so buff! Judgement, Heroism, flames of faithful, divine favor.

"Any of you who wish to surrender, throw down your weapons."
“Thank-you, My Lady. But Eadie Navhelan shall not be surrendering this day.”
Karsa Ibn Jad
|
Karsa squints into the room Hah, I see you couldn't copy me, too good for you you miserable dog! It's time for you to die!
With that Karsa draws himself up to his full, unimpressive height, and conjures a ball of flame between his hands. He unleashes it into the room against the sorcerer and then staggers back, smoke rising from his head and beard.
Karsa casts empowered fireball, hitting the back of the room. It should hit the caster and all four ogres. DC20 reflex save for half damage. Fire damage: 10d6 + 10 ⇒ (2, 5, 4, 4, 5, 2, 2, 2, 3, 4) + 10 = 43 increased by 50% for 64 fire damage, 32 on a save.
Vurgan of Kassem
|
Vurgam moves up and tries to hit the bigger Eadie with his sap
sap attack: 1d20 + 12 - 2 ⇒ (19) + 12 - 2 = 29
non lethal damage power attack: 1d6 + 8 ⇒ (6) + 8 = 14
"I am sorry my lady but I do not believe you are who you appear to be"

Move within forty and then Frost bomb. 12 splash to the top two golems as I hit the bottom corner of Kuriq.
Touch:Frost Bomb, Fort: DC 18 or staggered: 1d20 + 11 - 2 ⇒ (6) + 11 - 2 = 153d6 + 9 ⇒ (1, 5, 2) + 9 = 17
Grint can feel the mutagen pumping through his body as his actions become faster and more accurate. With one well practised movement Grint covers the top three golems in a liquid that rapidly starts to cool into a light blue ice.

Hania rushes into the building and slashes the giant Eadie across her chest with her blade. Fresh blood splashes across the dirty floor.
Grint hurls a blue bomb at one of the northern most over-sized pathfinders.
Blue Fort save: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (11) + 6 = 17
Green Reflex: 1d20 ⇒ 16
Red Reflex: 1d20 ⇒ 5
The bomb sends rime and frost all over the over-sized Kuriq as he seems to slow.
Karsa decides to try and end this quickly as he incinerates the interior of the building in a torrent of flames.
Pathfinders saves: 4d20 ⇒ (15, 7, 5, 7) = 34
Farendir save: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (14) + 4 = 18
As the flames die down the four oversized Pathfinders lie on the ground. A mixture of melted flesh and exposed bone, though they don't resemble Pathfinders anymore but rather Ogres.
Kuriq calmly and boldly walks through the smoke as he ignites flames all down the length of his blade while Vurgan raps his sap across the remaining ogre's neck.
The Ogre reaches for its greatclub and swats at Eadie from around the corner
Greatclub vs Eadie AC 25: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (9) + 7 = 16
The club cracks against the entryway and Farendir utters but a single word that causes everyone's mind to get fuzzy.
Everyone DC 18 Will save vs Confusion as per the spell for 9 rounds.

Looking to end the infernal sorcerer quickly Karsa focuses his mind. A tiny, intensely bright, ball of sunlight appears in his hands and with a casual flick he sends it hurtling into the room where it soundlessly explodes.
Karsa casts empowered burst of radiance at the enemy. Automatic damage: 5d5 + 5 ⇒ (4, 5, 5, 1, 4) + 5 = 24 +50% for 36 damage and a DC19 reflex save or he is blinded for 1d4 ⇒ 4 rounds. If he passes he is instead dazzled.

Kuriq

Totally missed the confusion.
Will: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (12) + 6 = 18
Kuriq is of sound mind. His thirst for vengeance overcomes any confusing thoughts.
Master Grint
|
Grint does not appreciate someone attempting to mess with his mind. Having faith that the potions he just consumed will protect him Grint moves out of the reach of the massive pathfinder. Locking eyes on the target Grint removes a spherical vial from his belt and shakes it twice, he smiles as the bomb begins to cool. Grint sees arrows fly past him towards the sorcerer, taking that as signal he follows up the arrows with a rapidly cooling bomb.
Frost bomb vs touch, Fort: DC 18 or be staggered: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (14) + 11 = 253d6 + 9 ⇒ (1, 1, 5) + 9 = 16
Move diagonally towards the wall where possible and move along the wall until I am within thirty feet of the sorcerer. Throw one frost bomb directly at him. I think I provoke as I move away, I am okay with that.

Not Ferandir did take the brunt of the Fireball, just didn't mark his damage down on this tracker as he is extremely low, don't expect him to survive the round.
Eadie moves into her doppelganger and quickly slits it's throat as the ogre crashes to the ground, revealing it's true nature as did the others.
As the others aren't able to reach Farendir in time Master Grint whips another bomb across the room, striking the Pathfinder in the side as it explodes, freezing half of Farendir's body, dropping him on the spot.
The veil of illusion drops revealing that it wasn't actually Farendir but rather Raamiz Ibn-Chadli himself.
With Ibn-Chadli captured and (presumably) turned over to the authorities, a terrible fate awaits the sorcerer. The Satrap orders the sorcerer to be enslaved and sent to the hellish salt mines of Zho.
For stopping the destruction of the chapel, the High Priest of Sarenrae quickly agrees to grant his collection to the Pathfinder Society in his will. Very pleased, the priest heaps praise on you when he next speaks publicly.
Given the chance to examine the items, Hanimethiris the Sage acts quickly, frantically taking measurements and sketching. He has the relics carefully repacked within hours.
Their marriage saved, the newlyweds see the Pathfinders off on their way to Absalom. They ensure that your fame spreads wherever they go. Rumor also spreads among the slavers of the region, word that the Pathfinder Society is not a group to trifle with. Thanks everyone for a great game. Good GM good players = great fun. Shame I do not get to tick off a box on the Faction Journal card but thats how the dice roll.
Kuriq
|
Indeed I had a very good time as well! Some funny dynamics going on that gave me a good laugh!
Kuriq walks over to each dead body and puts an arrow through their heads... just in case. "You wretched beings! Let this be a lesson to those who defy the grace of the Dawnflower." And make sure any of the live enemies are treated with "respect".
Towards the end, after vengeance is served, Kuriq again stays mostly to himself during the party and ensures the pathfinders finish the job they are set out to!
Eadie Navhelan

Eadie gives her stunt double a kick. “That’s for making Hania make me eat vegetables!”
She *sighs* wearily. “Guys, I don't think I've ever told you that I’ve done time in the joint recently.”
“Prison gives you time to think 'bout the choices you’ve made that have led you there. What you coulda done differently.”
“It also teaches you things. Cons have names for folks like Razmir, Huge Hania, Kolossal Kuriq, Vast Vurgan of Nirmathis and Great Grandpa Grint.”
Eadie looks solemnly into the faces of her companions. “‘Baddies.’”
