I am unable to view that map, can I make it to the kobold with my movement?
"Okay we will take care of it."
Asuna responds while beginning to move towards the kobold and drawing her scythe from her back.
Anything green is difficult terrain. So like Meatbeat said, you can get there with double movement.

Takahiro starts taking the long way around as well, looking to engage with the swamp monster at the end of the log!
Move action forward, total defense as standard action

GM Tektite |

Asuna moves up.
Takahiro moves toward the alligator and goes on the defensive.
Zorlax swings and misses on the alligator.
Meatbeat tries to run through the log and bounces off. Still shaken from his first endeavor, he can't find handholds to climb the log.
Kassi begins a rousing, inspiring hum.
The alligator snaps at Zorlax again.

Zorlax surprised of the uncanny accuracy of the alligator's bite suffered a huge gash on his leg.
"I might need help with this thing Takahiro! I'll pull up or I might end up in it's belly!"
GM can I do this?
-5 ft step between Takahiro and Danyn ( indicated by the line on map )
-Drop my greatsword
-Get the wand from my backpack as a move action
-Use it as a standard action

![]() |

Unfortunately, I think you're in difficult terrain, which does not allow 5' steps. I can't move pieces from my phone, so I'm not 100% on what you're standing on. Note that drawing the wand or using it won't provoke (assuming you keep your wands accessible), so there's that.

![]() |

If I can hold the greatsword in 1 hand then I'll just draw the wand the use it, if it's in the backpack is it accessible? Next time I'm in town I'll buy that wrist sheath.

GM Tektite |

Danyn moves up to ready himself for punching crocodilians.

Double-moving to the square north of the alligator. Provoking, accidentally giving Zorlax a chance to move without provoking.

GM Tektite |

Round 2
Asuna swings her scythe and cuts a long slice down the kolbold's side, injuring it badly.
Takahiro wields his katana and the blade sinks deeply into the alligator.
Meatbeat signals for Zorlax to wait while the dwarf moves to the north of the alligator and draw it's jaws attention.

Zorlax, you did not get to use your wand yet, since we are still in round two. I delayed your action until after Meatbeat, who so fortuitously drew the alligator's Attack of Opportunity for this round. Retrieving the wand from a backpack is a move action that draws and AoO, but the alligator gets no more AoO's this round. So...you can keep your attack and move away, retrieve your wand and use it, or move away and retrieve your wand, but not use it this round, or some combination that I'm not thinking of.

![]() |

I see, I thought we are in round 3 already. Anyway consider my actions above for round 3, then for round 2 I'll take advantage of Meatbeat's actions.
Round 2
"A little something to patch up my wounds, I had a feeling this would come in handy!"
Zorlax will retrieve the wand and use it.

Takahiro nods in vigorous agreement, "Though at least there are no angered Oni here!"

GM Tektite |

With urgings from the nearly forgotten Rees, the party gather their things and contiues on their journey. Within a few hours the sleepy, fishing village of Piers End comes into view. An hour later the party finds itself in Piers End and now must find passage to Escadar.
Knowledge Local or Diplomacy to gather information.

Zorlax will go to a local pub if there's one if not, to a place where fisherman hang their nets perhaps.
Diplomacy: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (16) + 2 = 18
"Can you direct me to Escadar?"

GM Tektite |

The group splits up and wanders the village gathering information on obtaining passage to Escadar.
They manage to find out that there are three likely people in the village that would be willing to provide passage for a price; a human woman, Darice; a male halfling, Small Otti; and a old male human, Tanner.
Darice never knew her father, and many villagers whisper that he was a member of the Pathfinder Society. Small Otti values his coin, for he has many mouths to feed—most importantly, his own. Tanner’s skill at sea is
unmatched, but so is his lunacy; take a boat ride with him and you might ride straight into a squall.
Darice resents never knowing her father and some say she longingly caresses the trinket he left behind for her. Small Otti has a weakness for fine food and drink, and any deal with him is made sweeter if food is involved. Some whisper that Tanner is not actually crazy, but no one is brave enough to find out.
Darice often lends a hand to the town’s elderly male residents, and some suggest that she longs for a father figure. Otti often asks for the moon in payment, but if he’s treated properly, he sometimes settles for much less. Tanner enjoys his tobacco, and merchants often give him tobacco before they negotiate with him as it seems to relax him.
Who are you going to proposition?
