Chak moves into the warehouse as quietly as # 72, bringing up the rear of the party. As the group enters the door you see that darkness fills the warehouse, the ambient light from outside blocked by a filthy, oily film on the structure’s few windows. Darting illumination comes from light reflecting off the water through a splintered hole in the floor. Throughout the warehouse, crates, boxes, and barrels lean against each other in vaguely sorted stacks. A lingering smell indicates some of the contents are certainly spoiled.

GM Tektite |

As the party moves into the dimness of the warehouse, with Chak sticking to the shadows near the door, Alan and # 72 notice a hole in the floor of the warehouse. Perched in the middle of the hole, teetering on split planks, sits a large crate stamped with three crows arranged in a triangle, the very crate the party has come to find. Handholds cut into the stout wooden crate ring the rim. Other barrels, boxes, and crates sit stacked along the walls of the warehouse. Just inside the door sits a handful of crates and kegs of beer. Most of these smaller crates and barrels contain foodstuffs in various states of freshness. Some crates reek of rot. Stacks of simple coffins sit against the east wall. The rest of the crates stacked along the north and south walls contain simple sundries including, but not limited to beer, blocks of clay, coffee, coils of rope, dried fish, lead ingots, nails, nets, raw cotton, rough wool, spare sails, timber planks, various pulleys and tools, and cheap weapons. A crane, used for loading and unloading boats, clings to a rail running the length of the warehouse, hanging 5 feet below the high ceiling, and can slide out to extend past the loading doors along the west wall.
Sorry, forgot the MAP!

Alan studies it for a minute then suggests Why not just use some of the hooks tied off and secure the handholds. Kind of reminds me a little bit of when I faced off against Dakang in the Temple of Karoda.

Alan will go as close he can towards the edge and tossed the hooks, tied off and attempt to hook the chest.

Alan steps gingerly to the edge of the hole and tosses the hook toward the crate. The hook finds momentarily, but then slides off the edge. While Alan is attempting to hook the crate the party begins hearing angry squeaks coming from the crates. When they look in the direction of the squeaks they see three shapes coming out the stacks of crates. The things appear to be rat shaped, with beady eyes and coarse fur, but they are the size of small dogs!

#72 swiftly hunches over and curves his fingers into hook-shapes, assuming the Boar Style.

Daynn punches the rat attacking him, his fist coming down squarely between it's black, beady eyes. He feels a satisfying crunch as the creature ceases to move. #72 charges past to attack the next rat, but trips over the first rat carcass and misses. Alan impresses the rat in front him with his flurry of arm movements, but does not connect.
Chak is up!

As Chak moves closer to the fray, the remaining two rats continue to attack. The rat closest to # 72 lunges and takes a bite of the fighters arm. The rat near Alan also lunges, but is thwarted by the monks tricky maneuvers.

Danyn's fist goes swinging straight at the rat, alas the rat dodges it at the last second. # 72 follows Danyn's lead and also swings at the rat, his first swing misses the dodgy rat. Those near begin to hear a wheezy, squeaking sound from the rat. If you didn't know better you would swear the rat is laughing at the group of fighters, but # 72's second swing catches the rat squarely and you hear it squeak in pain.
