So that caster flinging rays should have 50% miss and be unable to target by sight? And should have -4 for shooting past cover/into melee?
Danyn steps forward defensively.
Move, then total defense. AC = 23, Touch = 16.

Yes you are correct, I forgot about the -4 and was waiting to roll the miss chance only if she had scored a hit.

# 72 manuevers around Alan and attacks the blond, hitting her squarely in the temple. The blonde screeches again and you hear her yell at the halfling. You pint-sized coward. She then begins to giggle and chant in an attempts to cast a spell. In her hysteria, she makes no attempt to defend herself while casting. Alan and #72 cease upon the opportunity and strike out, Alan's strike connecting and felling the blonde. Seeing an opening, the halfing begins backing up eith his arms in the air. Look I asked for a draw, Deandre was leading us. he says, motioning at the redhead on the ground.

The law doesn't quite work here like it does in Nidal; I don't just drop criminals/corpses off at the local drop-off station and return to my living closet.
#72 begins picking up the dead/dying while looking around for something.

TO DELVE A DUNGEON DEEP
Only the luckiest or most influential Pathfinders receive invitations to Amara Li’s annual Snapdragon Festival celebration, and wise recipients take advantage of them. The aroma of blooming orchids and flowing wine mixes with the acrid tang of recently exploded fireworks, and the sound of strangely discordant music comes from a duo of Tian women playing an unusual stringed instrument and a reed flute. The crowd mingles calmly, most guests clearly hoping to be seen more than actually paying attention to those with whom they converse, though the plum wine seems to have affected many who now move about the lodge’s grounds waving sparkling wands of fire and shooting whirring, whizzing fireworks into the sky above the koi pond. After you succesful completion of your previous tasks. You have been deemed worthy of an invitation.

A woman dressed in traditional Tian garb strides in, and turns heads as only someone of beauty and breeding can do. Her hair is coiled back and fastened via pins. Her black and red silk dress as the motif of a oriental dragon going up either sides and it is split up to the upper thigh. She speaks demurely Ah, truely this is a party that warms my heart and brings memories of home.

Plum wine firmly in hand, the rather handsome Tian moves amongst the guests freely. Taking closer note of him, guests observe a sense of other about him, and it doesn't take long to realise he is tianjan, a heaven person. His burnt-gold yellow kimono is matched with dark crimson hakama pants, and he almost resembles a walking sunset. A large stylised sun has been boldly embroidered on the back of his kimomono, and equally stylised dragons on the front. A katana sits sashed at his waist.
After social butterflying his way through many guests and engaging in all manner of pleasantries, he eventually moves to listen to the duo of musicians, politely smiling and waving to the elegant Tien guest, and the Tengu spirit.

Well this party looks great, Hmm, where's the bar?"
After exchanging greetings to a couple of adventurers he passed by, he finally managed to find the bar. "Can I get a glass of the finest wine you guys can offer?", says Zorlax to the bartender.
These people looks interesting, I wonder what adventures have they gone through.

After spending some time enjoying the party you are invited to the private study of the illustrious Tien diplomat and pathfinder Amara Li. Arriving in the study you find her seated on a reed mat before a low table set with an exquisite porcelain tea set, that appears to tell the story of a man and woman. She motions for you to sit with her around the table, and once the door is closed behind you and you are seated, she begins talking in a low, hushed voice without even a hint of a Tian accent.
“Well met, Pathfinders, and welcome to the Lantern Lodge. I hope you find the Snapdragon Festival and my hospitality worthy of your time and energy. I have not brought you here for mere pleasantries, however, and wish to ask you to partake a dangerous mission on my behalf. Amara Li absently runs a finger along the rim of a teacup.
“Long ago, one of my most esteemed ancestors, who was rich in power but poor in sense, gave a gift to a foreign prince, a gift that prince did not deserve and my foolish ancestor had no right to give—a ceremonial jade katana. At the time the gift was sent, its recipient was invading this island. He laid siege to Absalom from his fortress in the foothills of the Kortos Mounts. Like those who came before him, the warlord failed to take Absalom and perished in the attempt. On the very day of his defeat, his castle crumbled to dust in a violent earthquake and has been lost to the centuries ever since. My family’s heirloom was lost with it.
The Tien woman stands and begins to pace. “A recent report by a group of Pathfinders gives me hope that they have finally found the ruin, and I might finally recover my family’s treasure. I’m looking for an intrepid group to retrieve it for me, and I’m hoping that is you. The fame and wealth you will doubtlessly recover will bring you much honor within the Society, and if you deliver the katana to me, you will have my favor as you begin your careers as full agents of the Pathfinder Society.”

As the miner enters the room, he does so bringing with him a serving container of sake. During the briefing, his eyes glaze over as he listens halfway, incredibly distracted by something in the main hall.
He finishes chugging a ceramic flask of sake and almost shatters it on the table setting it down.

Who would've known that this wine could be my last wine, better enjoy it while I still can.
"Is there anything that we should be aware of before we head there? Any idea of what could possibly be lurking inside those ruins?

"I can understand the importance of such an artifact, and the request to retrieve it. I shall be honoured to recover this heirloom and return it to its rightful place in the hands of your family, the Katana is the heart and soul of my mistress" Takahiro looks lovingly heavenward, then bows to Amara Li.
