After the party heals and prepares themselves, they enter the vault, which is already opened, hence the invisible stalker being loose.

Entering the inner vault, the party sees, a collection of crates, bookshelves, and various sundries lies scattered throughout this cold vault. Stretched out on a table, several dog-eared papers strain to flutter under the weight of a heavy candelabra. Hundreds of tiny sigils line the inner walls of this sanctum.

As the party stands looking around, a man wearing a skinsaw mask steps through the back wall and charges the party!

The man begins chanting, appearing to cast a spell.

Gannus squeezes the man harder, and he seems to lose his spell based on his curses.

    Later, at Weiman's restaurant...

Weiman prepares a meal for the group, though he breaks out the tome Master Callbazzern's Guide to the Exploration of Life and references both "gnomes" and "women," under which he finds three relevant passages to see if there's any correlation.

    gnomes wrote:
  • Expect the unexpected; no two will ever be similar beyond limited entities the physical state.
  • Under no circumstances should they be given magical implements that cause fire or explosions, for gnomes are quick to change moods.
  • Women wrote:
  • Never cross a woman. Know that their capacity for fury runs deeper than their capacity for love.
  • He makes sure to try extra hard, seeing as he's seen her both kill a man and breathe fire. He tries to not imagine running points two and three together, but has no such self-control and imagines the bar burning down. He then imagines a funny joke about "burning down the house" and laughs to himself about it.

Glaurung wipes her spear clean and makes sure the place is secure before reporting back to Dreng. She gives him a piece of her mind about Pathfinder security before heading for Weiman's restaurant, hoping they serve some kind of strong drink.

She spends the night in revelry, eating and especially drinking. As the alcohol flows, she turns to the halfling. "Say, Weiman: why don't we go have a wee bit of fun, huh?" Her hands have once again transformed into claws and she absentmindedly removes a file from her pocket and begins sharpening them.

And now I want to go to Weiman's restaurant. LOL

No Day Job for Bruxo (or any of my PCs, actually).

Though, he's Sczarni now, since Torch has showed his true colors; and, if ever there was a faction with which to have a PC with a Day Job, it would be Sczarni. I may just have to do that next level. Maybe it'll be Perform (evil cackle) or something similarly obscure.

Weiman's restaurant (The Stop) is located in the Coins and is like a duplex, if the two halves were connected by a skybridge*. Weiman's half (The Stop, short for "The First Stop on the Path to Weiman's Exploration of Life" since that was going to be a really expensive sign) is entirely a restaurant. The other half, run by Otey (a lesser-known warrior dedicated to a very hazy interpretation of the word "justice") is an unnamed bar and alcohol distributor (though he takes great pride in his stock of self-produced root beer.)

So, visiting is entirely viable and is actually invited, as per Weiman's much earlier comments in this scenario about cooking for everyone. The entire bill goes to Dreng's, though, do ho ho. He's totally invited too, though.
    ---
Weiman removes his dirty smock and lets the cooking crew get back to work after serving his newest near-masterpiece (to help eat it, of course.) It ends up being a meal centered around a set of almost unbearably hot spices, whom Weiman claims he "learned existed from back when I punched a bunch of Vudrans and a few statues, learning kung-fu from a mole man of justice.**" In the distance, you hear the bar owner yell "Justice!", as he probably did at least once throughout the night.

Weiman ponders the proposition for a moment, again thinking to his gnomish master's teachings. "Dead men tell no tales, but if they could, they'd probably be really interesting." Deciding on living the moment, he sidles closer to the gnome and adopts as deep a voice as his small frame can muster. "Baby, have you ever heard the phrase 'big fun in a small package'? Well, they're only half right." He, as usual, loses his imitation to laugh at his own joke... "Ha!" ... before returning to his sensual voice. "I'll let you figure out which half they got wrong."

    *:
I'm not sure if that's actually a thing in real life; this place was friggin' designed by a 13-year-old and myself, after all, and I'd estimate I have the attention span and engineering skill of a well-adjusted 13-year-old.

    **:
Synthysists are weird, used to be legal, were really powerful Nature or Lore Oracle/Monk/Paladins, and my one friend also really likes the game Bloody Roar.

Yea, Weiman deserves a happy ending. :) And I kinda wish his book was real. I would buy that.

Gannus will join the party at Weiman's restaurant that night. The next morning, he ignores his hangover and gets to work getting his caravan into shape. Level 10! Yay!

    Intimidate!: 1d20 + 13 ⇒ (3) + 13 = 16

After guts are spilled. Before dinner...

The man fall to the ground in a pool of his own blood. As the party catches their breath, Bruxo unmasks the man to find Nordris Kalm, as Dreng suspected and whose son Sidri, was trying to thwart.

As the party is putting the pieces together, Dreng shows up, smiling. Well done! Well done! I knew you could be counted on. I see the Prospectus is still intact, wonderful. He rubs an arm across his milky eyes. As a reward, I would like to offer an entire day of study within my vault. Examine whatever you wish.

The following day is spent studying and researching all manner of Golarion lore. Fine drink and food keep you comfortable, and the soft rugs offer a welcome place to rest. More importantly, the lore available in Dreng’s vault is quite immense, and every member of the party becomes empowered from pursuing the many books and relics.

Dreng also informs you that he owes you all a favor for your service in helping to uncover a bit of the "new" splinter group, the Shadow Lodge...

Funny story, when I ran this, half the party believed the fake Dreng and help defend him. So it was a ninja and a druid versus an archer, Wise Fox's witch, and Feral's inquisitor. Hilarity ensued and the archer and the witch got Koed before Feral took 'Dreng' down. All the while they kept insisting that this was the real Dreng and that the rest were clearly mind controlled by Sidri. There were no hard feelings of course, just nonstop laughter.
