These ghosts were getting to be quite an obstacle and Ser Willem knew he had little to combat them with. He didn't have much time to think about that as they charged forward.

The male ghost at the rear moans and gestures and a rope sitting atop the wall falls onto Talondreal, writhing and grasping, tying knots and binding hands and feet!

Talondreal, please give me a DC 14 Reflex save!

Everyone, having seen the various interactions with the ghosts, may make a DC 17 will save with a +4 for Natula's having pointed out the illusions.

Sir Willem seems to charge through the ghostly ranks and charge the elvish female ghost, who seems to flow out of the way of his outthrust sword.

Also Ser Willem:
Give me another Will save, sir!

Talondreal struggles with the rope, becoming entangled.

Talondreal:
Entangled doesn't stop you from acting, so you can still take a normal turn. Getting free of the rope requires either a DC 23 Strength check to burst it or a DC 20 Escape Artist check. Or you can ignore and just act while entangled.

Still need orders from Talondreal and Xiao Hua.

My apologies. I did call for a Will save, didn't I? And you passed. You can see that the rank-and-file ghosts are mere illusions. Moreover, the female ghostly figure in the rear rank still appear real, but covered by some strange illusion that makes her appear ghostly. I wonder if the male elf in the rear rank is also real? Sure looks ghostly! Apologies again.


The female elvish "ghost" suddenly disappears, reappearing in the midst of the fray, where she attempts to cast a spell.

Casting Defensively (DC 12): 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 5 = 20

A brilliant blast of disorienting color and light floods out from her fingertips, engulfing Talondreal, Bryndarynn and Mr. Copperpot. Anyone who has seen Mr. Copperpot cast it knows it to be color spray.

Talondreal, Bryndarynn and Mr. Copperpot, please give me DC 15 Will saves!
