"Don't look at me, I just sail ships and shoot a bow once in a while. Crazy land traps in a death maze is a bit out of my normal." He stares at the situation, not having the deep connection the others did with the now dead man.
Tilver collects the items from the orc and then slips the everburning torch between the straps of his pack so it can still shed light around him. Then he begins climbing up the sides of the pit. He slips right away and clatters to the ground. With a frustrated grunt, he gets back up and tries again.

Dain scrambles up the stairs. He stops next to Tung, then gets down on his knees and examines the steps where Tilver disappeared, muttering to himself the whole time. From this vantage, he looks around at the floor, the walls, and the ceiling - looking for a bane that might have taken Tilver away.
"Dain, what are you doing? What did your spirits tell you?! We're wasting time if Silas is right. Who knows what danger Tilver is in!?"
Tung cries as the half-elf scrambles around in search of a bane.
Does the young knight make a rash decision? DC10:1d20 ⇒ 19
With an impatient sigh, Tung braces and sticks his head in the hole to look for Tilver.
Dain spots the trap just as Tung sticks his head into the hole. With a loud explosion of sound, he too disintegrates!
Tung and Tilver:
So, first the sonic damage.
Sonic Damage (basic Fort save DC 25) vs. Tung:3d12 ⇒ (2, 9, 8) = 19
If Tung fails he is also Stupefied 1.
Then, Tung is teleported to midair in the Banewarrens, over an apparently bottomless pit! He may Grab an Edge with a DC 25 Reflex save. Otherwise, you take 45 damage as he plummets to the bottom!
Also, you might land on Tilver...
Tilver, if Tung fails to Grab an Edge, you need to make a DC 19 Reflex save or take a further 45 damage when he strikes you as he falls. If he succeeds, you don’t have to make the save.
Dain:
Thievery DC 22 (master) to temporarily erase the rune, or dispel magic (4th level; counteract DC 22) to temporarily counteract the rune.

Isabel staggers as Tung sticks his head into the hole. "What? That was one of the...." she just starts muttering to herself. "Is there a trap? Should I try to dispel the magic? I hope they were just teleported and not actually disintegrated."

Silas shakes his head at where Tung used to be. "Dain, did the spirits show you what is happening?" he asks as Dain was squatting beneath the hole when Tung stuck his head in.

"I don't know...maybe? But look here. There is some sort of rune that could be the...errr...cause?"
GM:
I assume DC 22(master) means you must have master level thievery to make the attempt, and dispel magic (4th level) means you must be able to cast Dispel Magic heightened to a 4th level spell. Correct?

"I don't know anything about those kinds of runes. Can you disable it? If you disable it do you think they will return or be lost forever?" Silas asks warily.
Having braced for the worst, Tung was ready for the explosion of sounds and shrugs most of it off.
Feeling no ground beneath him, he snaps out a hand toward a ledge he spots off to the side.
Once Tung gets back to "safety", he calls out "TILVER! TILVER! ARE YOU IN HERE!?!"
"Gods, lower you voice! Yes, I'm right here. But I don't know what else is lurking around." Tilver's voice comes from below Tung in the pit. "And throw down a rope if you can."
"I think we're still in the Banewarrens, near the Room of Stairs. Heaven help us, did you go into that trap after seeing me disappear? It could have sucked us both into the Void for all you knew!"

I will go and investigate, but if the rune was teleporting them I am not sure this will help find them." Silas will go up the stairs and into the hole in the ceiling, wincing as he enters.
Nothing happens as Silas enters the upper chamber which is bare save for a large red handle which can be in either the right or left position. Currently, it is set to the right.
The chamber is a bare 10'x10' cube with a hole in the floor and a switch on the wall. You can't be certain what will be revealed if you move the stairs. But there is certainly room for more such cubes, yes.
"Don't climb down! It's just a pit. Lower the rope and help me climb up." Tilver waits for Tung to lower the rope and then begins to climb out.
Part of me wants to get out as soon as possible, make our way back to the surface and just be hanging out when they come back. Be like, 'what the hell are you talking about?' or 'Oh yeah, it just teleported us into the wine cellar.'

"I can cast fly. What do you think about me staying up here while you move the stairs from below? That should keep anyone from falling to their death if the floor suddenly falls out from under this room."
There are four switches. One is UP and the other three are DOWN. Silas tries pressing the switch in the UP position, but nothing happens. Choosing another at random, he presses it and it moves into the UP position while the other switch moves into the DOWN position.
With a rumble and loud clanking, the ancient ironwork begins to rotate around the central shaft. It moves ponderously so that the floor plate covers a different quarter of the floor and the ceiling to uncover a different quarter of the ceiling. Whereas previously the Northwest corner of the ceiling had been exposed, now the Northeast corner is exposed. Another small chamber can be seen at the top of the stairs.
Actually, the rune was in the little upper chamber, and now that he knows what to look for, he finds another one in this new chamber (without sticking in his head.

Isabel is still hanging out in the room that was open. Does anything happen to her?
"Right, let's get back to them. Something Geristonomos said to me this morning might help. I didn't even connect it until now." He nods and follows Tung.
