Back in the medieval times they used to throw boiling water and oil on the people climbing the ladder. I am not sure that we can do any of this.


There isnt much you can work with in that regard .... well apart from boiling water....

I didnt get the problem with Detect magic. Can you explain it to me?

that in order to do a spellcraft check to id magical effect one needs to cast detect magic.

so i was asking if you were casting said spell as it has Verbal and Somatic components allowing me the chance to see that you are doing so. (a spellcraft to ID the spell being casted for example)

And if you are casting said spell with the Silent and Still metamagic feats it would then become a level 2 Spell.

Or it could be a spell like power ( needs concentration / Standard action that provokes ) or A Supernatural power.

Nay you don't have to (that is for the dm to know should there be question :)

So since you are using Silent and Still spell there is nothing for me to see :)


Now I get it .. just make a perception check here if you did notice it the DC will be 15

i don't get a perception check as there was no casting involved. the only sign would be that she concentrated / was absent for a a few seconds. (So really there is never a reason to expect that someone is casting a spell).

Therefore, such a character must also take more time to cast a metamagic spell (one enhanced by a metamagic feat) than he does to cast a regular spell. If the spell's normal casting time is a standard action, casting a metamagic version is a full-round action for a sorcerer or bard. (This isn't the same as a 1-round casting time.)

Guys, what Sladan said about the lack of full mobility wasn't an offense. He's overprotecting when it comes to Saya and tends to heat up in those kind of situations lately. If you read the previous posts you'll understand more.


You can change your position as you please for your first post. You are not constrained by your movement by now.

Well, Sladan would have to be closer to Saya to put HawkEye defend her :)

And in order to guard the walls better Sladan would join Tarius and Gnaus on the other side, near the ladders/stairs.

I got back last night and currently at work (with a mountain of things to do) but we are resuming gaming (will be slow until monday as i have lots of IRL/PhB games do catch up etc :)
