GM Souls' Crypt of the Everflame

The young heroes of the town of Kassen are ready for their coming-of-age ceremony, an old tradition in which they retrieve a piece of the eternal flame burning in the tomb of the town’s founder. Yet when they arrive there, they find only the corpses of their fellow townsfolk, dead bandits, and mysterious animated skeletons. The novice heroes must brave the traps and perils of the Crypt of the Everflame, discover the source of the corruption that has awakened an ancient evil, and defeat a menace that seeks vengeance against Kassen and its people.

It certainly is, especially when you've got a GM and players that RP it with you.

As far as how I'm going about it, that plan is simply this:

- I'm keeping track of the temptations and how many I fail.

- When I hit level 3, I'll roll a %d. If I fail, then I'll take Eldritch Heritage (Brutal Bloodline). This will give me claws as per Abyssal Bloodline, which the more I use, the stronger the hold my demonic side gets.

- Between levels 3 - 11, whenever I would gain a feat, roll %d. Failure means I select either a Tiefling Racial feat or some feat indicating my demonic side is growing in strength.

- At 11, if I fail the roll, I'll get wings as per Brutal Bloodline. Pretty much at this point, GM willing, I'll most likely have picked up the Familiar Rogue talent and a Quasit familiar.

Again, it's mostly roll dependent, but the rolls are dictated mostly by what happens in RP and the temptations. As of now, I have a 40% chance of failing, but we're not even level 2 yet so it could change.

Sorry for my silence, I've been trying to decide whether to stick with the campaign or not. Unfortunately, I think I'll be dropping out at this point. I don't really have any time commitments or anything getting in the way, I'm just not really feeling very "into" this game at the moment. It's not really anyone's fault, just having difficulty with this one for some reason.

If you go to Campaign Info and hit "edit", you can scroll to the bottom where it features a list of active characters and players. You can just de-select my alias and account and it'll be done.

Hope your game goes well, and I wish I was up to continuing it.
