Sweeeeeeeet. I misunderstood the "one permanent effect" thing Ras'ka mentioned earlier-- thought maybe you meant during the game, since I had read that they go away after the game is over anyway. Also, I can reimburse you for the materials if you want :-)

I can give everyone who wants one a heightened continual flame. It's CL 8 and spell level 4; you'll want to record that just in case anything ever tries to dispel it.

Also, I'll be covering the costs of them. It's what I do.

Not quite sure how the end of this will go, but I'm traveling for the next week and may have limited internet at times. Torean will go with the group as needed to find the lantern and leave the dream world.

No worries; this part is just getting information from Aslynn. The follow up on the lantern will be in a future adventure (Abducted in Aether).

I need this information to finalize your chronicle sheet.

Primary Success Condition:

The PCs complete their primary mission if they recover the records detailing the lantern’s powers and uncover all of the information from 322’s mirrors in the Dimension of Dreams. Doing so earns each PC 1 Prestige Point as well as the Aggressive Researcher boon
on his Chronicle sheet.

Earned!

Secondary Success Condition:

The PCs complete their secondary mission so long as they conclude the research in the Blakros Museum and the Forae Logos in less than 6 days total. Doing so allows the Society to continue the search while the trail is still relatively fresh and earns each PC 1 additional Prestige Point.

So ends my one game out of four that was actually moving at a measurable pace. (The special makes five, but its pace is predetermined so it sort of doesn't count.)

Rolando, we played the 8-9 subtier with the four-player adjustment, so the gold is correct :)

If anyone else needs adjustments to chronicles, let me know.

Also, this also ends the run of the original group that started with Among the Living. I've had a ton of fun playing with you all and hope to see you in other play-by-posts in the future!

I keep my pbp activity a little down for the moment but I'll start to recruit again in September, when my thesis will (hopefully) be finished.

Hmm, so you receive extra gold if you play up? I always thought you get your level gold, regardless. Sweet! And I'm selling my Jingasa back for full money because of the errata.

I had a lot of fun playing with you all! I need to get another XP so I can reach level 7 and play Abducted in Aether. And Zinou, that Rallying Cry was really clutch. Good game everyone!

If you play out-of-subtier, you receive gold equal to the average of the two subtiers you were playing between. So, if you play up you get a bit extra gold (because you took on additional challenges) and if you play down, you get a bit less (because you didn't have to face such big challenges).

I'm looking forward to playing Abducted in Aether myself sometime! I'll need to find a way to make it fit my schedule ;)

Thanks for the game, everyone! It was a great run of PFS, and Torean is onto 8th level! I think his Jingasa will get traded in fir a Bane Baldric.
