Julian you bugger! You posted my idea already darn you.
So wands - Check
Loot sheet looks good, thanks for cleaning that up Julian, it was appearing a bit jumbled there for a bit.
So if we want to buy potions or scrolls now is the time.
I can't think of much else to buy with only <2k GP remaining, better to hang onto it for later upgrades. Although from what Rednal has posted upgrading Tarovs armor will cost closer to 2k+ in raw materials and require certain spells to achieve the ability add on. This will take some tinkering to get right...

GM Rednal |
@Julian:
you will basically never be able to buy an item with an odd number for a total enhancement level
Don't think "Amulet +1". Think "Amulet with +1 and Agile".
And yeah, one note about this system is that a certain range of low prices for magic items basically stop existing. Fortunately, you sped through the lower levels where that's a bigger issue, and are now getting ready to kill things and take their stuff. =D So it'll all look better soon. There's absolutely nothing wrong with saving money for larger purchases instead of spending it - you're mythic gestalts, and that covers some of the gap in power that normal characters would be seeing in this system.

Ascendant Rowan |

Gah. Hate leaving things undone. Need to take better notes. Granted she was originally waved off but now our hands are free and there's a cesspool in need of cleaning.

Ascendant Rowan |

Wasn't really worried about treasures actually, its nice but we are doing great! :) Just Plot holes lmao. I had been in a game where we left so much unfinished business it ended up biting us hard. JULIAN knows, he died like 11 times when all our problems reared their ugly head back then or would have if not for his teleport to
Shot to death by Driders with bows
Shot to death by ballistas
Stomped to death by ogres
Crushed by Large Succubi Statue (That was hilarious)
Ran over by a runaway cart (Total accident, Again, Hilarious!)
Tore up by displacer beasts (Got some blink dog pups out of that deal! HA XD)
Turned to stone by a Succubi Medusa hybrid. (Yes Our GM loved his Succubi, perfect manipulators, breasts, yeah.....)
Poisoned (Protecting the King of Merlot)
Stabbed to Death (While
Disintegrated by a Lich (Vanished the moment the ray almost came into contact with him, basically he made good spell fodder XD!)
Captured by Driders that had previously killed him, tortured mercilessly by them until he yet again *Poofed* out of existence and back to succubi land.
I sadly nearly had my face melted off by a tree that liked devouring elves, had vines it used as grappling tentacles and it was full to the brim with acid... He on the other hand had a much easier time, granted there was lots of pain but I had no where to run to. We lost lots of characters then. Especially as we left a Red Dragon alive and it came back really pissed off for taking its horns... -.-;;;;;;;;
So its just a Personal Habit to leave nothing left unfinished if I can help it. Granted you are much better about it, loved our buddy but sometimes we were railroaded hard. Didn't help we played while stoned and drunk, minus Julian. He never did partake in the extra curricular fun. I don't do any of the smoking anymore, but I do drink xD!

Ascendant Rowan |

true we blazed through this book. @.@; I'm glad I joined. So thanks again. :D
And lmao. The tiefling always abstains xD. Buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuut! He has kept us all out of trouble and it is pretty humorous ain't it? XD!
Yeah we drank cheap rum, but it was enough back than. Now its just beer and shots on saturday when I want a good time. But no drinking hard thanks... I get tipsy but yeah. I work with guys who look like they are 80 but they are in their 40 or 50's. It's because of the hard drinking they do like ALL the time when they are not at work its ridiculous. >.<;

Julian Fey |

Ugh. Yeah, you guys were terrible but the game was hilarious. So was a fishing pool and bags of chips. Ha. Fishing for drunkies.
Only in Alaska~
Looking forward to book 2, some army combat is gonna be righteous!
Character sheet is updated. Loot sheet will be fully updated once sales are finalized and I'm ready to kick some ass!

Ascendant Rowan |

Oh hell yeah, Army combat here we come! XD

Tarov Boulderfist |

I'm ready to move on when you guys are. :)

Ascendant Rowan |

We can meet them and the specialist real quick so we can get the initial feel lol. I forget actually. My bad. :/

Julian Fey |

cleaning up loot sheet and such as time allows. Back at work but roads are getting washed out due to early melt off. Will post by tomorrow. Apologies for wait. :(

Tarov Boulderfist |

Honestly not sure how to contribute here. I can't see any reason why we'd take the hard route when we've already got a hugely dangerous situation ahead of us.
I can't think of anything Tarov would need to do or say before we set out. :3

Julian Fey |

Ugh tied up with computer repair at the moment. Cell and internet service are being upitty due too the dalton highway washing out. This spring melt is kicking our butts! Apologies for the wait but I was able to meet up with Rowan via pickup and all he had to add was he's fine with going with what was proposed. So roll on dear Rednal! Unless Tarov has something to add!

Tarov Boulderfist |

I don't see a problem with going with Spellbreaker and letting Irabeth lead. I'm a little shaky on how exactly it works, though. Will each of us just roll one round of attacks, so each time one of us posts, it's a full round of actions for us + our paladinly facebeating squad?

GM Rednal |
I'm not sure "round" is the right word - the book prefers "Phase", because one set of attacks on each side could take hours (depending on how the story's going, basically). But yeah. Basically, it's like this:
Phase 1:
-Players decide on a strategy to use. Let's say you follow the advisor's suggestion and pick Spellbreaker!
-Player 1 notes this and rolls an attack for the army (That's 1d20 + your OM)
-GM Rednal does whatever's appropriate for the enemy.
-Everything is resolved.
Phase 2:
-The players discuss things and decide to stick with the strategy, because it's unlikely you could effectively change strategies mid-battle with your current morale bonus.
-Player 2 notes you're keeping the same strategy and rolls an attack for the army.
-GM Rednal does whatever's appropriate for the enemy.
-GM Rednal surprises you with personal combat against an enemy champion! You spend six rounds murdering it.
-Because of your success in combat, GM Rednal gives your army a +2 bonus on OM and DV for the round.
-Everything is resolved.
In Phase 3, Player 3 rolls the attacks, and then it loops back to Player 1. Lather, rinse, repeat.

Tarov Boulderfist |

Okay, that makes a little more sense.
How should we set up the rotation? Alphabetical (Julian -> Rowan -> Tarov)? Height (Tarov -> Rowan -> Julian or vice versa)? Best beard (Tarov -------------------> Julian -> Rowan)?

Julian Fey |

Dang my post didn't take xD
I can agree to alphabetical that's fine. :)
Rowan is currently fixing his camps internet, he says it'll be up tonight lol. XD Cell service is completely crappy this time around with all the wacky weather. He apologizes for the wait. :C

Ascendant Rowan |

Alphabetical order is fine.
Just got done repairing Ethernet cables. Woo. And installing a bunch of modems and boosters throughout the camp. So far so good, however its a temporary fix. Sorry for the wait!

Julian Fey |

Right-o~! o7

Julian Fey |

Am I posting something first or are you? Lol XD

Julian Fey |

Understood!
Although I doubt my bombs would constitute a ranged phase for the army. If I understand we don't have a ranged attack. At least that is how it looks in the army profile... :/

Ascendant Rowan |

One hell of a first victory! Glory to the Dawnbringer's and let the Worldwound shake with the coming of Dawn!

Ascendant Rowan |

So I am thinking Calvary Experts as the next Tactic selection.
You guys think it fits?

Ascendant Rowan |

Oh understood, just read it over again and saw that.

Ascendant Rowan |

For some reason my pages aren't showing updates. Darn internet explorer is total trash. I need to install chrome...
Sorry for the wait everyone, will try and check more often. Julian tries to keep me on a short leash lol.

Julian Fey |

Don't worry, I'll keep ya informed more often Rowan. :3

Ascendant Rowan |

Oh boy, now I've stirred the hornets nest. XD
And Thanks Julian. :P

Julian Fey |

ROWAN DID IT! I SAW HER! XD
No one expects the Inquisition!

Ascendant Rowan |

Oh gods! Not you too Rednal! XD

Ascendant Rowan |

Lmao. Gotcha. xD

Tarov Boulderfist |

I'm kinda thinking that Tarov would like to lead the army this time. I don't know if it's really a good choice, but it feels like something he'd like to handle.
You guys have any thoughts?

Ascendant Rowan |

Go for it Tarov! :D

Julian Fey |

Back Online here we go!

GM Rednal |
Out of curiosity, would you guys prefer to have the one doing the attack roll also decide who the army attacks, or would you rather have the commander decide who the target is, regardless of who's attacking? Mass Combat doesn't actually have much for you guys to do, so I'm trying to keep each of you involved on a relatively frequent basis.

Tarov Boulderfist |

I wouldn't be completely against it? I think discussing who we should attack would probably be for the best.
And for my decision to attack the dretches first:
We fought the tieflings before, and we know what to expect from them. But the dretches are new, and that means they might have nasty tricks up their sleeves, so we should take them out first. I don't recall the tieflings being able to do anything of note that would make them more threatening.
