Thanks, Zayne. Even if you did make my heart skip a beat when I didn't see my name before the bold thing, which made me assume I'd been missed :P

Aye, ye missed Doc.

Dot!

I have never played and really want to try a FoF build. So I will be submitting a Monk/Druid.

With gestalt and stacking, my rule of thumb when I'm running is that nothing can be more powerful than what a non-gestalt character could do. So things like sneak attack wouldn't stack beyond one die per odd character level. But feats and rogue talents and the like simply broaden the character. The ones that are the most serious have other prerequisites, like level or BAB.

-----

I think it would be great if Jinji & Ingo both got selected. Halflings with hawks makes for a great theme for a party! Yeah, sure, we'll probably have to have some token human along so we can make jokes about their gangly long frame. But that's just me.

Here's Dragonofashandflame's humble offering (the crunch, at least--i wanted to get the hard part out of the way, first).

Lemme know if there's anything that needs to be changed. He's LE, right now, but I can make that go away, too, if it's an issue. I designed with an eye towards "useful, but not overpoweringly so"--not sure I succeeded on either front, but we'll see. He's going to be an close fighter/grapple-monkey, so his feats and evolutions will be geared towards that.

*sigh* Summoners are ridiculous.

Dave Herman wrote:

I had missed this in the gestalt rules:

A gestalt character can’t combine two prestige classes at any level, although it’s okay to combine a prestige class and a regular class. Prestige classes that are essentially class combinations-such as the arcane trickster, mystic theurge, and eldritch knight-should be prohibited if you’re using gestalt classes, because they unduly complicate the game balance of what’s already a high-powered variant. Because it’s possible for gestalt characters to qualify for prestige classes earlier than normal, the game master is entirely justified in toughening the prerequisites of a prestige class so it’s available only after 5th level, even for gestalt characters.

If it is possible to take a prestige class I will probably change my bloodline.

Man, synthesist summoners are so crazy....

Screw it. Going all out. Bard/Slayer.

Actually, I think the synthesist was perfectly reasonable. He kept his physical stats near the larger stats, which he could have easily dumped. His healthpool is going to be insane, baseline. The things he took makes him solid in combat, but provides next to nothing outside of combat. As a bard, ranger, or rogue, you're going to have a lot of things -outside- of combat to do. He'll have to wait until he gains a level to even come close, via taking skilled evolutions, or alternate modes of movement... you get the idea. Everything has an opportunity cost. Synthesist summoner is one of those things that has fewer, but he actually skipped the spots he could have made off like a bandit... at least for now. Once he starts eating people and levels up, that could all change vastly. :P

I have slightly changed Illyan making him a magus(bladebound)/bard (arcane duelist). The background is the same.

Corrected all the instances of his name begin written wrong and changed a trait to Charming.

He is way MADder, but I prefer him this way.

I have a question regarding the "crunch" part.

Does it assume "partial" progresses?
e.g.

Monk 1+Sorcerer1= 0 bab(0.75 or 0.5=0.75 for this level)
Monk 1+Oracle 1+Sorcerer 2= 1 bab (0.75 or 0.5 =0.75 for this level, 1.5 total)
Monk 2+Oracle 1+Sorcerer 3 = 2 bab(0.75 or 0.5 =0.75for this level, 2.25 total)
Monk 2+Oracle 2+Sorcerer 4 = 3 bab(0.75 or 0.5 =0.75 for this level, 3 total

or does it just use "staggered" progression

e.g.
Fighter 1/Wizard 1 = 1 bab
Fighter 1/Rogue 1/Wizard 2= 2 bab
Fighter 1/Rogue 2/Wizard 3= 3 bab
Fighter 1/Rogue 3/Wizard 4= 4 bab
Fighter 1/Rogue 4/Wizard 5= 5 bab
Fighter 1/Rogue 5/Wizard 6= 6 bab

or does it use some other form of progression?

I would assume partial as that seems standard but just making sure-

You always use the bab of the class with the best progression.

Quick question. Does the the raging drunk ability from the drunken brute archetype effect alchemist extracts?

Bane88's Druid(Saurian Shaman)/Monk(MoMS)

Still working on the background, but crunch is in the profile.

Billybrainpan wrote:

Hm. That does not exactly answer my question. If I stagger two 3/4 bab classes, which one is the "class with the best progression" then?

Say

Fighter 1/Rogue 1,
then continue until
Fighter 1/Rogue 20/Inquisitor 19
what is the BaB?

Regarding your question, the only aspect i found was in the FAQ regarding extracts

Quote:

Does the Accelerated Drinker feat allow a character to drink an alchemist extract as a move action?

No.

So i would not bet on it(i know there's a significant difference but didn't find anything more specific). If the basic idea is to make sure you cannot get both an move effection effect AND a standard action effect off, and the Mutagen self-powering is considered such an effect, the ruling could well be extended to that.

One day: 15 submissions. Wow.

What? Nonsense! This is clearly a completely original feat that is in no way an adapted trait.

Zayne Iwatani: I'm a bit unsure about how powerful the rogue talent thing could get, but my instinct says to allow it. I trust my instinct. It looks like you're going a different route now (Bard/Slayer), though. I do want to clarify that I plan to allow bonus feats and the like to stack, but things like sneak attack damage will not stack.

Hotaru of the Society: I've got a bit of a wonky schedule. I work on an A week B week schedule, and have class/clinicals on Mon-Thurs. All times are in Central Time:

Schedule:
Week A I am always offline from 7am-8pm Monday and Tuesday (might have a short break to post around 3-4pm), from 2pm-11pm Wednesday and Thursday, from 11am-3pm on Friday, and from 7am-3pm on Saturday and Sunday. This week is a week A for me.

Week B I am always offline from 3pm-8pm on Monday, 7am-8pm on Tuesday, 2pm-11pm Wednesday and Thursday, and 7am-3pm on Saturday and Sunday. I am completely free on Friday.

So, I will generally try to post in the morning around 5-6am when I work, and at night 8pm-11pm depending on the day. This is somewhat variable, but I strive to always post at least once per day, often more frequently if possible. My schedule will also become a bit more tame in two weeks, when this semester's clinicals end.

Sixteenbiticon: That's fine. If I wind up requiring something that conflicts with your backstory, I will PM you and we can hash out details. At this point, though, I see no potential problem.

Illyan Sobachesky: I have no problems with prestige classes. I will note that I won't allow the aasimar-has-daylight=3rd-level-spell cheese, but a normal entry prestige should be no problem.

MordredofFairy: Partial progress, if I'm understanding it right. Basically, you have two "sides" to gestalt; take the higher side, and that's your BAB. In your Fighter 1/Inquisitor 19;Rogue 20 example, a non-gestalt Fighter 1/Inquisitor 19 would have a BAB of +15. A non-gestalt rogue also would have a +15. As a gestalt, this character has a +15 BAB. A Fighter 4/Inquisitor 16; Rogue 20 would have +16 BAB.

Billybrainpan: I don't see this being particularly unbalancing, so I'm fine with it.

I hope that's all the questions! I'm going to start delving into some character reading, and should be online for an hour or so if anyone has further questions.

how about half-elf getting two favored class bonuses? if I take both of my gestalt classes as favored how would that work?

Edward Sobel: The way I view gestalt is that you are already taking both base classes as your favored class. Multitalented will work if you are planning to multiclass both sides of the gestalt (ie, a Monk 10/Druid 10; Fighter 10/Shaman 10 with Multitalented would get one favored class bonus each level), but may have limited use elsewise.

The favored class bonuses do not stack with each other; you will only get 1 HP, 1 skill point, OR a bonus related to one of your classes each level.

ok so i guess I should find an alternate trait to replace the multitalented since it really will not be used. I intended to remain the same two classes all the way up (no multi and no prestige class)

I do not envy your schedule, but I can do my best to match it. :) Thanks for the heads-up. :)

Edward Sobel wrote:

I have no use for it either but none of the replacements fit. Don't really care. I want him to be half-elf and gestalt more than compensates for a racial trait flop.

Thanks. I didn't expect to get double sneak attack either. I can do almost as much outside of combat with a slayer in place of the rogue but I get more reliable damage and attacks with it. Its is still bouncing around in my head but at least the flavor of the character is staying the same. And a longbow. I can't picture him without one. The chaotic neutral Robin Hood. Steal from the reach and walk away.

Arcane training replaces multi talented: and Bard is an arcane casting class.

You had me at unicyle-riding, tutu-wearing race of sentient giant polar bears.

Ok, got to come up with something for this. I really like Wizard/Alchemist, but we already have one. Thinking about a Swashbuckler(Mouser)/Sorcerer or Oracle. Will have to think about this, lots of interesting options.

This assimar intends to not take a prestige class. Just monk/sorcerer all the way.

As for rogue talents, yes you should get the from both classes. Thinknif you took a wizard/sorcerer. You get both sets of spells. Talents would be the same. As for sneak attack...ah...I'll leave that to the gm, but 10 dice for twenty levels is probably maxed.

Thinking about a Goliath Druid/Monk, follower of Valani, an Empyreal Lord.

What's your thinking on Empyreal Lords and their boons?

I've done a little polishing on Xoruk's background, and will probably clean it up/add more as we get closer to Monday. :)

As far as mechanics go, I'm pretty sure I've got everything finished. But if anyone sees anything that looks fishy or wrong, I'd appreciate the heads up. I don't claim to be infallible, and building gestalt characters is hardly easy. D:

Spazmodeus: I have no problem with them. Some of the boons are quite powerful, but since they require a feat and a fairly high level to obtain, they won't break the game as far as I can tell. At least, not any more than high level characters already break the game.

Sadly, they don't exist on Golarion. They live solely on a diet of Kender.

Alright, so I updated Zog's sheet--fixed his name and imputed his backstory. Hope he satisfies!

Is there anything else you need on Taryk, Red Ruin? Any questions or such?

Why Me?:

Although easily considered dumb luck how she stumbled into it, she was responsible for sabotaging a growing drug trafficking ring in Sasserine.

Vanessa's Story:

Vanessa was glad to step off the boat from Bloodcove. As she surveyed her surroundings on the dock, she hoped that her time in Sasserine would fare better. It wasn’t like she had much of a choice. Her funds for her mission of mercy were running dangerously low. Things were to a point now that she would have to risk doing unsavory things if she had to leave town in a hurry…just like back in Bloodcove. As she began walking forward, her mind couldn’t help but lament over such a lawless city and its desire to stay that way.

Wooden docks soon gave away to cobblestone road with the occasional horse-drawn wagon passing by. The captain was kind enough to listen to her questions about Sasserine during the trip. He even gave her a “tourist map” saying that should help her get oriented. As she withdrew the map from her backpack and began to unravel it, she felt a strong sense of blunder wash over her. The map itself looked like it could’ve been drawn by a child. To even further complicate matters, there were markings on the map with lewd titles for what she could only imagine were bars and brothel houses.

Annoyed for being so trusting towards an obviously perverse sea dog, she decided to head towards the least provocative sounding of places, The Fuzzy Clam. Vanessa had to ask a local on the street for better directions to the establishment. Eventually she finally found the place and went inside. However it wasn’t long before she wished she hadn’t. The place wasn’t busy save for two men, one passed out over the bar, the other obviously drunk and not far behind. The barkeep himself had slicked back black hair and that sort of smile that screamed con artist. The place itself wasn’t all that inspiring to look at save for a stage that featured two walkways. Each had brass poles from floor to ceiling. Vanessa wondered what those were for.

“Iomadae why…?” Vanessa thought to herself.

Trying to be nonchalant about the situation, she strode over to the bar and took a seat at a reasonable distance away from the two men at the bar. The barkeep, clearly bored with his current, unresponsive customers, was quick to move towards Vanessa.

“Well, well, well…” the barkeep said while slowly sizing her up, “What can I get you, sweetheart?”

Vanessa shuttered underneath her armor. His voice even sounded scummy. “Turpentine tea will be fine, but I’m more interested in information.”

“Information, eh?” the barkeep asked quizzingly while beginning to gather the things needed to brew coffee, “What kind of information?”

“Well, it’s just that I’m new in town and I’m looking for work,” replied Vanessa.

“Yeah, figured you were a merc. You’re at the wrong part of the world for all the armor you’re wearing. Most of the merc jobs usually involve protecting boats that are stupid enough to get close to the Shackles. I suppose if you’re desperate for work, you could always work here. I’m always looking for new…talent.”

Vanessa was already feeling awkward being here. Now she was completely uncomfortable. Vanessa was trying her best not to show it behind her smile. As she began her response, two large men carrying a small crate came in through the back behind the barkeep. Not even paying attention to the surroundings, one of the men blurted out, “Hey boss, the new shiver supply is here so we can get back to slingin’ it.”

The barkeep shot his goon a spiteful glare. One of the customers, previously thought to have been passed out drunk, came alert with a fervor. “Oh please, gimme gimme gimme! I’ve been feening for nearly a week and I can’t take it anymore! I’ll pay any cost, please, I need it!” Vanessa couldn’t see the barkeep’s face with his back turned to her. It was noticeably upset by the scene caused in front of a complete stranger.

“Uh, I think I better go.” Vanessa stated as she stood up from her seat.

The barkeep knew that this could go south way too fast. “W-Wait a minute!” exclaimed the barkeep, desperate to diffuse the situation. “Look, maybe we can work something out, eh? I know some people that could use a new swordarm. Let me just—“

Vanessa cut him off mid-sentence, “If they are friends of yours, then definitely not.” As she turned to walk away, she felt a blunt force strike her across her face. She could feel herself falling backward, land on something solid only to give way to her continued tumble onto the floor. She could feel the side of her face start to swell as blood began to trickle from the side of her mouth. As Vanessa stood up, she wondered how those two burly men got behind her at the door. No matter now, she knew she was going to have to fight her way out of here.

“Iomadae guide my hand.”

The two carriers had clubs in their hands. Vanessa noticed that the barkeep had pulled out a knife and was coming over the bar. The other two men that were at the bar, gone. Presumably they made good on their escape. Vanessa drew her sword, wishing she had time for her shield as well. Her attackers would not allow her the chance as the two men came charging in. Vanessa dodged to the left narrowly avoiding a club strike and parried a club attack on her right.

The biggest thing that concerned her at the moment was where that scumbag of a barkeep was going with that chef’s knife. Fighting two men at once made scanning the room difficult, yet she couldn’t find the man. Left with little choice and not wanting to be stuck against 3-to-1 odds, Vanessa stepped forward after her parry and delivered a decisive forehand strike across his chest. The attacker let out a blood curdling cry as he fell backward. Vanessa knew that the strike wasn’t fatal, or at least she hoped.

Then it hit. A sharp pain flared intensely into her side underneath the armor plating. Vanessa looked behind her to catch a glimpse of the barkeep with a sinister grin of his face as he withdrew the knife from Vanessa’s kidneys. The pain she received sent shockwaves through her body has the blade withdrew leaving only its deadly mark. She felt herself coughing up blood as it also oozed out from her wound. The pain was crippling, begging her to just curl up and give in. She barely stumbled out of the way of another club strike as she moved to the side, clutching her wound.

Vanessa felt her heart flutter and a familiar presence began to swell inside her, traversing from her core through her available arm and concentrated into her hand. Her attackers’ expressions turned from that of expected triumph to sudden distain in nearly an instant. Vanessa was no longer bleeding profusely onto the floor. Underneath her armor, the wound had completely closed leaving no evidence of it ever happening at all.

“Go. Let justice be done.”

Vanessa could feel an unnatural presence push her forward. She didn’t have to say anything as she knew what it meant. Righteous indignation had come for these wicked men and Vanessa was the vehicle to deliver it. With a swift downward stroke, her sanctified blade connected with flesh passing through it to muscle and bone of that of the barkeep. The man crumpled in an unconscious heap onto the floor without as much as a whisper.

Vanessa turned her attention to the only attacker left, who had quickly surmised he did not want the prospect of dealing with a holy warrior and was already in the process of fleeing the scene. His escape was stopped short by the city watch as they made a timely entrance at the door. Order was restored afterwards, lengthy interrogations notwithstanding. Ultimately, Vanessa was cleared of any wrongdoing and given a pat on her back plus a small monetary reward for bringing an end to a growing operation of illegal drug trafficking.

The irritating thing about this whole mess was that she didn’t want to get involved in it at all. Vanessa was just content with leaving it be. As a survivor of Mendev, she had already seen enough death in her teens at the hands of demons and devils that were wrought into the world. She joined up with Iomadae’s cause protect the innocent more than to extract any vengeance. With that crisis over, she’d been traveling the world providing what aid she could. Vanessa felt that Iomadae had brought her here as an important detour to do just that. Now that it was over, she was ready to move on and had the funds to do so.

That is until a message from a local dignitary came knocking on her door…

Appearance:

Click for portrait

Standing at roughly 5'10" and 140lbs, Vanessa is a slender, athletic woman with auburn colored hair and warm, chocolate colored eyes. She's usually wearing armor, which she keeps well maintained every night before going to bed.

Personality:

Despite some of her more zealous peers and veterans of the Fifth Mendevian Crusade, Vanessa is gentle and kind preferring her role to be that of a missionary of mercy, protection, and salvation. She desperately wants to believe that anyone can be redeemed and may go to great lengths to attempt such goals. However, if left with no other choice, she will do what she must.

She is kind to everyone she meets and tries her best to meet the world head on with a smile. She has a soft spot for those in need, especially children as she was an orphan herself. Vanessa can be abit of an airhead at times but she always means well by her demeanor to everyone she interacts with

That should be everything. Questions and/or comments please let me know. I will be closely watching this thread all the way through it's recruitment cycle. Thank you very much for reading and your consideration for this campaign.

Ooh, can I play a kender? Or even better, a minotaur-kender cross? I always wanted to play a 9' tall great axe wielding minotaur, who thinks he is a kender and is consistently playing practical jokes on people.

I'm currently finishing up a Alchemist/fighter (toyed with picking something other than fighter but i didn't want to go to crazy.)

Hope to have everything up and running by tonight.

No Kenders. Please.

This is Rabi (pronounced ra-bee), a child of the slums.

Backstory:
Born to a wizard in exile and his wife, Rabi found his father's spellbook when his innately curious mind found a hollow spot beneath the family's floor. He pried up the cheap wooden boards and hauled out a large tome. Opening it up, he found a series of strange characters he had never seen before. Unsatisfied with the intellible language, he futilely poured over the runes until his father came home from work. At first, his father was angry about the discover of his secret book, though he wouldn't explain why. It took a week of incessantly asking about for his father to relent.

"It's a book of magic, the reason why we cannot live in the stone cities of our people," he said.

"Can you teach me?" Rabi asked.

His father sighed. "I suppose I'll have to, and if I don't you'll no doubt learn on your own like I did. The first thing you need to know is that magic like this is a taboo amongst our people. Other dwarves don't trust it and if you manage to travel far below ground to our ancestral cities, you must keep these powers a secret. Understand?" Rabi nodded.

Over the next few years, Rabi learned of the language of the dragons, creators of magic and some of the most powerful magicians in the world. The young dwarf learned simple spells and even mastered the ritual for summoning a familiar, which he used to give himself a pet raccoon nearly as inquisitive as himself. But his curiosity was not satisfied. When he was in his adventurous twenties, he stole a scroll from a local mage called Ignacion. Rabi kept the spell a secret from his father lest he be forced to return it, but he wasn't as stealthy as he thought he was back then.

Ignacion tracked his scroll back to Rabi's house, and using his magic, found the hidden spell. Assuming the culprit to be the mature wizard, Ignacion killed Rabi's parents and destroyed his home.

Rabi spent the next fifty years on the streets. His quick mind and fast hands were well adapted to thievery and the few spells he had recorded for his own use from his father's now ashes spellbook kept him from being caught. When one day, he was approached by a halfling who worked for the daughter of his father's killer. Seeing the chance for revenge (and free food), Rabi agreed to see this noblewoman in person.

What has he done to earn recognition? Well, he has been very difficult for the local authorities to track down and such elusive skills could indeed be useful, or perhaps she has learned that as a child, Rabi stole from Ignacion, not the young wizard's outcast father and she needs a talented thief on her side.

Appearance: Neither small, nor wiry are the typical words used to describe dwarves. Short, yes, but their thick frames give them all the weight of a full grown man. More akin to a tall and bearded halfling, Rabi is as thin a dwarf as you are likely to meet. His black hair and beard are usually rather messy, and his clothes are always caked in mud. He could clean himself up magic, but dwarves are people of the earth and dirt doesn't bother him. He has decided that cleaning up would be appropriate for the fancy dinner he plans on attending though.

Here is a very early version of sixteenbiticon's rogue/summoner submission.

A bit of background:
Nephew of Gregar Skeen, Master of the Shipwright’s Guild, Tolas primarily works as a courier, transporting rare herbs, spices, and other sought after natural ingredients from the druid’s circle just outside of Sasserine for sale on the black market or - if he’s particularly lucky that day - he sells them to the Amedio Trading Concern, based out of Shadowshore and run by Vico Bevenin. When he isn’t busying himself with that, he helps his uncle at the docks, running lines, or - if he’s have a paticularly bad streak of luck - scraping barnacles off of the hulls of the myriad ships docked along the eastern bank of Shadowshore.

I believe Yago is complete. If there is anything more you would like to see let me know.

The Crunch:

See profile of this. Human Monk(Zen Archer)/Inquisitor. Feat choice depends on which domain Inquisitor is allowed to take. Preferable Feather Domain with Erastil as Deity, for Perception Bonus and Animal Companion(not intended as mount, probably a housecat(a stray she can adopt in the city) that will mostly just sit next to me and maul people when applicable(that is when it's not begging for food) *gg*).

Why You?:

Flexible on the fluff here. I considered to be somewhat of a church "Internal Affairs" person, trained in monastic disciplines outside of the normal clergy and inspecting those. Could be I managed to stumble on something bigger there, unearthing something some people would have preferred to stay hidden(as fits the story, plus someone will hold a grudge I guess. Could be certain acts abusing powers, corruption, whatever...people got away with it so long they got lazy, and I happened to be in the right place at the right time to find proof or see it with my own eyes).
People of course heard of this scandal, and while it's being cleaned up and taken care off, i'm suspended/on hold.
Whatever problem she has, I am able to find answers for her or get things solved, without backing down unless to ensure survival.

Flavor/Background:

Parents supposedly died. Some war, some disease, victim or perpetrators of crime, Salia has no idea. When she was a Baby, she was handed to a remote Monastic Order that raised her. During her childhood, she took part in the excercise and trainings, did her chores in and around the temple.
Alas, her physical capabilities were considered sub-par. While the year-long training did help somewhat, it would seem that the martiality of a monk or paladin was not her calling. She did, however, excel during her Lessons about Scripture. A venerable Cleric that came to retire in the cloister saw her potential, and took it upon himself to teach the young girl throughout her teens. While he shared his Wisdom with her over the years, the physical exercises were altered to complement her new focus. Shooting a Bow was a meditative experience, and something she found much more potential in herself for than with the regular close-combat exercises. Eventually, the old cleric passed, and thus, her closest mentor was gone from the world. She continued her routines because that was what she knew, but without the joy she felt before. After a few weeks, it was decided that in her current state, there was no more she could learn here, and it was time for her to put her training to use.
She did not have sufficient focused theoretical training from a young enough age to join the clergy. And her physical training was more or less stopped except for her bow-form, which she loved and which gave her freedom.
But her quick thinking, vast theoretical knowledge and ability to judge personality lent themselves to use as an Inquisitor. And the Martial Training she had would definitely supplement this role well.
The very next day, she had packed up and was on the road to Sasserine, from where some very concerning rumours had reached the abbey by means of travellers.
[stopping here because I don't know WHAT happened there, and if you would want to use those things as a sort of backplot]

Appearance:

Saria is 17 years old(minimum human, want to keep her young and openminded), about 5ft 2, with about 100 lbs. She's somewhat willowy.
As a child she shaved her head together with the monks, but stopped doing that 2 or 3 years ago. She has brown hair, brown eyes, with rather small breasts she usually binds with a ribbon so they don't interfere with her archery.
Said archery is a meditative experience for her, and she tries to get it done every day.(to the point that i would say she has trouble regaining inquisitor spells if she has no chance to do her exercises).
She is used to the diet of the place she grew up in, and is not used to meat, but did not live as a vegetarian either.
While it was a mixed cloister, she also has no REAL concept of relationships including anything beyond friendship.(She is aware it exists but is naive in that matter).
She is trained in reading body language and basic psychology which she uses to interact with people(as, for example, she's not physically imposing enough to be seen as intimitating).
When exposed to new situations, which many now are(great amounts of her knowledge of the world outside the cloister were theoretical up to a few weeks ago), she tries to approach them openly, trusting in her ability to judge the intent of people.
She did not yet make any experiences that would make her more careful/reserved in this regard.
At evening, before sleeping, she spends some time in quiet meditation and prayer.

What languages are common in Sasserine?

Ok, since everyone loves kender, lets see:

How about a halfling monk(underfoot adept/maneuver master) -- rogue(filcher). Not quite sure how to get sling staff proficiency. Will probably have to use a quarterstaff and sling, or just ignore the hoopak and stick with unarmed.

This give lots of ability to trip and steal from bad guys, and otherwise just make their lives miserable.

Halflings have a item, Halfling staff sling that they can use with a martial Proficiency. You can get that by burning your level one feat for it.

This is about as active a recruitment thread as I've seen in a while

Welcome to Gestalt Recruitment! ... he he he

Ooh, can I play a kender? Or even better, a minotaur-kender cross? I always wanted to play a 9' tall great axe wielding minotaur, who thinks he is a kender and is consistently playing practical jokes on people.

I had a minotaur that loved traveling with kender. Of course part of it may have been that the possessions he cared about were generally too heavy for a kender to lift.

It's also an AP that doesn't see the light of day very often, which is what drew me to apply. I honestly have no idea what to expect.
