Seeing Drogan contain the caster, Mez steps up to the one firing on him. Feigning high, he deftly brings the rapier down, slashing into the beast femoral artery, causing its lifeblood to spurt from the greivious wound.

Drogan lets go of the now unconscious Sorcerer with a brief look of disappointment and frustration.
"Dro?" Drogan asks, looking at Alika as he picks up his spoon, steps up to the nearest Kobold, and delivers a blow.

You are infected but no worries you will be done before any damage starts
The Kobold that Drogan hits falls dead and both gennor and Valymer miss.
Female Human Knife Master Rogue 1
Again targeting opponents weak spots, Alika moves to flank the kobold that is fighting with Gennor.

Both attacks fly past missing the yapping Kobold as it panics as the leader is dead.
Seeing that he and Alika now had complimentary positioning on the kobold between them, Gennor strikes again with his rapier, hoping for better result this time...

The rapier pierces the kobold in the stomach it whimpers before it lets out a yap and dies.

Drogan will move to the two Kobolds who are asleep, pulling out his rope, and begin tying them up.
"It's not that I'm offended. It's just that Dwarves rarely, if ever, use nicknames, as their given names often have personal significance, so I was surprised."
After he finishes tying them up, Drogan will turn to the others, and ask, "So what do you think we should do with them? Can any of you speak to them?
Female Human Knife Master Rogue 1
"Drogan, I was speaking hastily. Please forgive me."
"I have no idea how to communicate with those beasts, so I suggest that we gag them."
"I can speak to them, what should I say?"
Male D Monk-1
I'm just wondering if we could interrogate them. I'm sure they have valuable information on what lies ahead in the mines. Although, they might also be carrying maps or orders or something. We should check that, first. Don't touch them if you don't have to, though. *cough* They seem to be infected.
Drogan will then proceed to start searching the Kobolds since he is already infected, starting with the dead ones to not risk waking the ones he tied up too early.

"I agree with Drogan. Ask them about the mines and any traps we might find."
Female Human 5/2 Customer service/ Cashier
Please, just let us go...there is our camp up on the ridge and we can get you treasure from there, we just want to live and take our babies. There is the channel that does not have anything of use but ore and then after that is the water source and that is where Jakk is. If you kill him the disease will dissipate, he said it was some sorta magical one.
Since you didn't spoiler that, I'll just relay it to the others as they said it to Gennor.

"Jakk is the lone orc survivor from when people moved into the mine, a follower of the God of Disease. He's the one we need to stop to end the plague, most likely."
Female Human Knife Master Rogue 1
"Can you ask how many kobolds there is with Jakk."
Male D Monk-1
"We also need to decide what we're going to do with them once they've answered our questions."
Female Human 5/2 Customer service/ Cashier
To help move things along This is what they will tell you
They will go on and say they were all that is left of the band, the others got sick and died and that Jakk is alone at the water source. They are scared to go back because they think that it is cursed and just want to leave with their babies.
Female Human Knife Master Rogue 1
"I suggest that we leave them tied and gagged... and decide later what to with them."
Male Human Inquisitor 3 HP: 25/25 AC: 23, Touch:13, Flatfooted:20 Saves: F: +5, R: +4, W: +6 CMD: 18 Init: +4 Perception +8 Spells Remaining: 4/4
"No. If they want to be free of Jakk's oppression, they should be. They should not be immediately oppressed by us. I say we let them go, and if we see them again, we act in a less hospitable manner."
Female Human Knife Master Rogue 1
"I have nothing against letting them go, but I think we shouldn't release them before we have handled Jakk... Just to be safe. Taking prisoner is not same thing as oppressing them."
Gennor understands both sides of the debate but is inclined to let the Kobolds go, if they are truly seeking to escape with their young ones then they are no problem and if they act to attack us again later, they are little threat now.

So are we in agreement to let the kobolds go, and move on with the game?
Female Human Knife Master Rogue 1
That's ok. I just wanted something besides just rolling dices.

And I'm all for that, it has just been a week and we're still staring at the Kobolds wondering what we're gonna do with them. I was just poking the game.
Female Human 5/2 Customer service/ Cashier
After they let the Kobolds go they climb a ladder and you hear the yapping of young ones as the two calm the little ones in draconic.
Moving on.
Waves of heat wash through the cave, thickening
the air and making breathing difficult. This small,
bowl-shaped cavern’s floor is littered with
humanoid corpses. Rats skitter through the sea of
bodies within the sunken floor, pausing occasion-
ally to nibble at a choice morsel. A host of their
brethren lie nearby on their backs, some of them
still twitching with a few remnants of life. A
tunnel’s opening is visible in the eastern wall of
this chamber and, in the distance, the sound of
rushing water can be heard.
May I get a perception check as you walk through the room.
