you are fine, fairly low dc, Out of chracter knowledge there Kobolds are infected with the plauge and considered contagious. I will give the others until tomorrow to post initiative then we will move on. into combat

Gennor fires an arrow at one of the kobolds that is still standing, keeping back to avoid being infected.

Attack roll: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7
Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 1

Female Human 5/2 Customer service/ Cashier

The arrow flys past the kobold hitting the wall.

Alright

Valymer initiative: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (6) + 6 = 12

Valymer will charge to the closes Kobold and swing at him.
to hit: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (18) + 6 = 24
confirm crit: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (14) + 6 = 20 wow this will be one dead kobold
damage: 2d10 + 2 ⇒ (10, 9) + 2 = 21

The small dragon creature yaps in pain.

Alrighty guys time for the order

initiative order:

1. Alika
2. Drogan
3. Kobold
4. Valymer
5. Mez
6. Gennor

Alika is up

Female Human Knife Master Rogue 1

Alika moves nimbly behind of one of the Kobolds, trying to not to get hit.
Trying not to block anyones charge line and trying to set up flanking for others.

Acrobatics to avoid AoO: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (14) + 8 = 22

And tries to slit Kobold stomach open.

Attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 2 = 11
Damage: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2

Attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8
Damage: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3

Female Human Knife Master Rogue 1

Sneak Attack extra damage: 1d8 ⇒ 1
Sneak Attack extra damage: 1d8 ⇒ 8

Female Human 5/2 Customer service/ Cashier

The Kobold is able to jump and dodge the back attack letting out a yapping laugh. You also beat their CMD by a long shot so no AoO

Male D Monk-1

Drogan will take a 5 foot step to position himself not adjacent to any kobold and unleash a flurry of shuriken on the nearest one.

Attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 2 = 9 Damage: 1d2 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4
Attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 2 = 16 Damage: 1d2 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5

Realizing that he is less combat capable than some of his allies, Gennor begins to sing a Varisian battle song, in hopes of bolstering their efforts.

Inspire Courage- +1 vs. Fear and Charm effects and +1 to attack rolls and damage rolls to all who can hear him sing

Female Human Knife Master Rogue 1

"Oh yes, familiar song from Varisia."

Female Human 5/2 Customer service/ Cashier

The first shuriken will fly past one of the Kobols the other will get hit letting out a yap before falling as the other one strikes him.

Valymer will move to a flank with the one Alika tried to stab and swing at the one standing next to it. to hit: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (14) + 6 = 20 damage: 1d10 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6 That one will fall.

Three Kobolds to go

Two will move up one trying to attack Mez, one to attack Valymer and the last on drogan with Spears.

attacks:

attack on Mez: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (9) + 1 = 10
damage if hit: 1d6 - 1 ⇒ (2) - 1 = 1

attack on Valymer: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (12) + 1 = 13
damage: 1d6 - 1 ⇒ (3) - 1 = 2

attack on Drogan: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (16) + 1 = 17
damage: 1d6 - 1 ⇒ (4) - 1 = 3

There is no save needed if they hit you as it was not in contact with the Kobolds.

Liberty's Edge

Mez laughs at their feeble attempt to strike him before lashing out with a strike of his own. Unfortunately, he spent too much time laughing, and not enough time targeting the kobold, and his strike flies almost as far wide as it can go.

attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5

Male D Monk-1

Drogan growls as the spear barely hits him, stabbing into his shoulder. He steps back before again throwing a pair of shuriken at the kobold that hit him.

Attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8 Damage: 1d2 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 4
Attack: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (11) + 2 = 13 Damage: 1d2 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5

Female Human 5/2 Customer service/ Cashier

The kobold will dodge those as well letting out a mix of common and draconic together You shall yarp yarp us!! Jak yarp yarp

Female Human Knife Master Rogue 1

Alika moves behind the next kobold.
Acrobatics: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (16) + 8 = 24

And slice again with two knifes.
Attack: 1d20 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 2 + 1 = 9
Damage: 1d4 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 + 1 = 4

Attack: 1d20 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (10) + 2 + 1 = 13
Damage: 1d4 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 + 1 = 6

Female Human 5/2 Customer service/ Cashier

x-x sorry life has been a little hectic this weekend

Both the slices wiz past the Kobold.

Valymer will swing at another Kobold, and miss

to hit: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (7) + 6 = 13
damage: 1d10 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6

The three kobolds will attack the same targets as last time.

attacks:

attack on Mez: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 1 = 6
damage if hit: 1d6 - 1 ⇒ (4) - 1 = 3

attack on Valymer: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7
damage: 1d6 - 1 ⇒ (1) - 1 = 0

attack on Drogan: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (15) + 1 = 16
damage: 1d6 - 1 ⇒ (1) - 1 = 0

Mez moves to try and flank with the tumbling rogue as he parries a few feeble blows, then, when the time is right, he tries to strike a deciding blow at his enemy! Again however, the maniacal little beast nimbly dodges out of the way.

Attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 81d6 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9
Flanking bonus not added as I’m not sure he could get to a flanking position with just a 5’ step, since he’s not an acrobat and doesn’t want AoO’s

Male D Monk-1

Drogan barely manages to evade the kobold's spear this time. Tired of missing with his shuriken, he decides to risk it and stands his ground, striking at the kobold who attacked him with his fist.

Attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (10) + 3 = 13Damage: 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9
Attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (13) + 3 = 16Damage: 1d6 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9

Fort save: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (15) + 4 = 19

Female Human 5/2 Customer service/ Cashier

The Kobold lets out a yap falling dead after being hit hard in the chest.

Female Human Knife Master Rogue 1

Is it ok to post my actions on next turn, since the kobolds are already acted?

Poor kobold is surrounded by Mez and Alika, and she stabs kobold at the back.

dagger: 1d20 + 2 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (18) + 2 + 2 + 1 = 23 (flanking and inspire courage included)
damage: 1d4 + 1 + 1 + 1d8 ⇒ (4) + 1 + 1 + (7) = 13 (inspire courage and sneak stab included)

dagger: 1d20 + 2 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (17) + 2 + 2 + 1 = 22
damage: 1d4 + 1 + 1 + 1d8 ⇒ (1) + 1 + 1 + (2) = 5

Female Human 5/2 Customer service/ Cashier

The other one falls as well. Valymer will slice at the last Kobold missing as the blade goes past him.

to hit: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (5) + 6 = 11
damage: 1d10 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 2 = 10

The little guy will retaliate and try to stab at him.

to hit: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (19) + 1 = 20
damage: 1d6 - 1 ⇒ (3) - 1 = 2

Female Human Knife Master Rogue 1

Once again Alika tries to use her agility to her advantage and
circles behind the last kobold.

acrobatics: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (15) + 8 = 23

sneak stab: 1d20 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 + 2 = 10
damage: 1d4 + 1 + 1d8 ⇒ (2) + 1 + (3) = 6

sneak stab: 1d20 + 2 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 2 + 2 = 19
damage: 1d4 + 1 + 1d8 ⇒ (3) + 1 + (6) = 10

Female Human 5/2 Customer service/ Cashier

With that strike the final Kobold falls to the ground letting out a yap of defeat, the room is now empty, and the pungent smell of decay hangs in the air. What shall you do?

Female Human Knife Master Rogue 1

Alika will search the room, just quickly to see if there is anything obviously interesting.
perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (12) + 6 = 18

Gennor helps Alika search the room

Perception: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7

Female Human 5/2 Customer service/ Cashier

There is a pot of some gross smelling soup on the fire that is full of rotting meat. There is a big soup spoon that looks like the perfect size for a quarter staff for someone about dwarf size. Each kobold had 11gp on them. On the largest of them you find a beautiful amethyst, a knowledge dungeonering would tell you what it means, along with a small key. they were all armed with small spears. Other than that there is nothing of real interest in the room besides the door that leads to the storage room.

While the others in the group go about plundering the dead, Mez keeps an eye on the opening into the next room, in case more unwelcome guests decide to make their presence known. "When you guys are done, lets check this room here too."

Female Human Knife Master Rogue 1

Alika toss the soup spoon to Drogan, "Try this".
And collects the money and the amethyst, "Lest share these later".

"Ok Mez, I think we are ready, I can't find anything else interesting from here."

With Alika's indication she is done, Mez relights his shield for good measure and heads into the storeroom, wary of potential ambushes.

Gennor prepares his bow again and precedes after Mez, making sure to check the storeroom thoroughly

Perception: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 5 = 20

Male D Monk-1

Drogan will wipe off the spoon on his robe before giving a few swings to test it out. Satisfied, he heads out behind Mex, following him to the next room.

Female Human 5/2 Customer service/ Cashier

This long, narrow room is lined with shelves loaded with foodstuffs and supplies. Heavy burlap sacks are piled atop one another in the corners of
the chamber. A few have been torn open, leaving spills of oats and flour along the floor. Several barrels stand in a cluster near the far northern wall.

Female Human Knife Master Rogue 1

Alika will search the barrels to see if there something hidden inside.
perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (17) + 6 = 23

Female Human 5/2 Customer service/ Cashier

Loot list from the barrels:

Barrel 1: Full of fine wine, however I would not suggest drinking it at the moment. An appraise check will tell you how much it would sell for.

Barrel 2: There is some strips of beef jerky however there are rats at the bottom that squeak loudly in protest of you taking in and if you do try to take it, it looks like they will surely bite you.

Barrel 3: Full of Lantern oil

Barrel 4: Full of ale from the looks of it, it is half way full.

Barrel 5: Full of cheese and some more rats, these not as hostile. While looking through this one you notice that the bottom is false. Inside the false bottom is, a small bag containing a moonstone, a golden broach with a jade inlay, three pieces of moss agate, 24 pieces of gold, and a potion with no label. spell craft will tell you what the potion is and appraise for the gemstones and moss agate for their value.

Female Human Knife Master Rogue 1

"Any idea what this potion might be? I assume that we are going to divide money and the gems afterwards? Wine might be be worth something, but I am not going to carry it."

"We should load the oil barrel into one of the carts in the outer room so that we can take it with us- fire might be an effective tool vs. the kobolds."

Female Human Knife Master Rogue 1

"But we have to be careful, too much smoke in these corridors and we are in trouble."

Female Human Knife Master Rogue 1

Anyway Alika helps Gennor to load oil barrel into the cart.

Mez agrees with Alika's comment on the smoke in the tunnels as he leads the group back to the first room they entered, their exploration of the western path complete. Once the group is ready, Mez prepares himself, and ensures their light sources are strong, before heading into the unexplored.

Female Human 5/2 Customer service/ Cashier

Quick question are you refering to the cart on the body or the other one?

I believe we cremated the body in the one cart already so I would guess we need to use the other cart

Female Human 5/2 Customer service/ Cashier

Alright well after you move one of the carts may everyone give me a fortitude save.

Female Human 5/2 Customer service/ Cashier

Oh it was not dust or the plauge, you will see after the rest of the save >:)

If this is some sort of trap then it should have been set off when I threw the shovel at the carts earlier- this is the sort of thing I had been expecting...

Female Human 5/2 Customer service/ Cashier

It is a trap however the way that it is set off is when the cart is physically lifted up or moved more than a little rocking from the shovle.

Fort Save: 1d20 - 2 ⇒ (9) - 2 = 7

... this is going to hurt, isn't it?
