As everyone moves the carts a wire that no one noticed snaps. Dc was a 20 to see the trap when you were here. Valymer and Mez are able to cover their ears in time as a thunder stone lets out a loud boom. Drogan is able to notice that there is a large pit in the middle of the walk way and warn the party about it. you can walk around with an acrobatics it or try to use something to make a bridge with a disable device

Drogan will take out his rope and hand one end to Alika, keeping the other end himself. He explains to those who can hear him that he plans to go over first, then hold the rope at that end to make it easier for others to cross. Assuming no one objects, he will start to put his plan into action, making his way across the narrow edge of the pit.

Only reason not to take 20 is if something is nibbling on me. Barring that, slow and steady climb out of the hole.
Gennor lowers down the end of his 50ft. of rope to Mez and helps him out of the pit, he then crosses the pit himself.

After the party gets across the pit.
This enormous cavern extends upward for at least 100 feet, climbing high into the bowels of the mountain. Glowing blue-green lichens creep across the rough walls and man-sized stalagmites protruding from the ground in this area, their faint light growing and then diminishing again every few seconds. The illumination occasionally highlights small flecks of silver, which glitter in the face of the great western wall of the cave. Several cables hang down from the edge of a wide hollow within that wall. The hollow penetrates deep into the west face of the cavern and begins about 20 feet above where you stand. The air here feels cool and damp.
