Until Monday? That's quite the coincidence. I, also, will be unavailable until Monday, so botting the gnome will likely prove unnecessary.

At your leisure. I'm imagining the next week will get a little distracted with the holidays rolling through...

Happy Holidays, folks! I'm going to pull at the oars by the end of the week to draw us officially into Book 6 territory. No real threats in-game, no big rush, but it feels clean to start the year in the proper pace of the last book :)
GM Rat Sass
No worries, Mahdi. The holidays are their own sidequest, and I don't want to rush the last bit of Brass, before you beat feet for departure...
GM Rat Sass
Happy New Year, folks! Here's to one more year of PbP with great company!
GM Rat Sass
Still here- sorry for the lurch-stop. Last week before we're empty nesting again, and I'm getting slammed from more sides than one. Should have something updated today.
GM Rat Sass
Update should occur later tonight- got a Trampled by Turtles concert out of town on icy roads before then...

I was trying to figure out some shenanigans with teleport and getaway, but I don't think I'd be able to get all the PCs and our minions. Sorry I'm being so slow, playing a wizard at this level is an exercise in 'am I using my spells to their maximum advantage' and the time sink in checking various things is slowing me down. I will get a post up Saturday after I get home from work (mid-afternoon PST).
GM Rat Sass
I understand the 'time sink', Mahdi. Honestly, don't concern yourself with maximizing your spells, unless you think that's exactly what Mahdi would do, and must abide by his idiosyncracies.
I'd simply point out that you rock in the RolePlaying Moments, and we all enjoy the heck out of it, so savor the out-of-combat transitions, and don't worry as much about should-coulda-wouldas...
Game on!

Okay, I meant to update my gear a little while ago after we rejiggered a few things that we were selling/buying, and I finally finalized it. So in the City of Brass, I retrained Burning Spell for Split Spell (-620 gp), I wound up not getting my cloak of resistance +3 (so still have just a +2), and I wound up foregoing the rod of extend spell in order to have a little more ready cash back on Golarion.
And now that we are back, I will spend 663 of that equipping my kobolds with 14 small-sized spears, 14 small-sized slings, 14 small suits of leather armor, and for Zrank, a masterwork longspear, and a masterwork studded leather armor, also small, natch. Also, 15 small size daggers, one for each kobold. I'll include all that in my RP.
Buying a few extra doses of ruby dust with some of the money I didn't spend, and about to go make a purchase in-scene as well.
Will post full/updated character sheet soon.

Huh, looks like Roll20 has their very own data breach:
Earlier today, Roll20 was named in a report as one of several victims of an attack by malicious cybercriminals. We are currently working diligently to investigate the veracity of those claims.
Our security teams work tirelessly to monitor, identify and fix potential weaknesses in our systems to prevent any attacks, and we take seriously our responsibility to safeguard our users’ personal information. Accordingly, Roll20 only maintains users’ name, email address, hashed password, last login IP and time of login, and the last 4 digits of users’ credit card. We use Stripe and PayPal to process transactions; all billing information is handled by them and never touched our servers. For password hashing we utilize bcrypt, which means that it cannot be reverse-engineered for utilization with other sites or to access Roll20.
We work hard to ensure data breaches don’t happen, and we always plan ahead for worst-case scenarios. That’s why we maintain strict limits on the amount of personal information available for exposure in such a breach.
We will be continuously updating our members with information as we receive it.
UPDATE 3:38PM PT: To remove any possible session cookies, we’ve logged everyone out of the site as a security precaution as we continue to investigate.
We have confirmed a possible time-frame from this data based on the number of accounts the cybercriminal states they accessed and we are still researching methodologies of access.
Looks like I'm going to change my password to the site, and I encourage you to do the same, just as a precaution. Not sure how many of us pay them annually to game, but I'll take their reassurances that their Paypal encryptions are sound.

Apologies for the delay this morning, was on the road to a family vacation. (Disneyland!)
We're staying down here until Saturday or Sunday... but I have a laptop with me. I intend to check in each morning and evening, but if I get dragged into family shenanigans and the DM wants to move us forward, please do so.
GM Rat Sass
Internet connectivity has drastically reduced. Will hopefully be back to the boards by the weekend.
Otah Cragsmith
(I've been checking in.)
Internet Connectivity, out and about too? :)
GM Rat Sass
Office server switched out, and IT can’t provide my two stations a Key, yet...

Crazy week! The guilt trip at work was strong.....
Thanks for rolling for Otah the other day.
GM Rat Sass
Thanks for the 'ping', Otah. It's been a rough month.
I should elaborate a little. My wife has just been accepted into a 3-year program to become a Nurse Anesthesiologist. It was a pipe dream, until this month, and for the reality of it, I've chosen to work seven days a week for the foreseeable future, to offset our financial obligations where I can. Not unreasonable side effects- tiredness and distraction, and my GMing has suffered. Obviously.
Things should work themselves out, but I may need you to bear with me a while longer, I'm afraid. Not as young as I used to be.
There are three more parts to our final book, and I intend to see it through. I hope you'll have the patience to see it through with me.

Congrats to your wife. Seven days a week is rough man, good luck!
Mahdi al-Jabira
Well, the new schedule was taking its toll this week, heh. Sorry to take so long to post.
GM Rat Sass
I'll be absent this weekend, attending a graduation in Ohio. I should be able to update on Monday.
Mahdi al-Jabira
I need to look up some spell stuff, but I will post as soon as I can tomorrow after I get off work. Sorry to hold things up/be slow. If someone else can try and break the door locks on their own feel free, I just want to see if we can do it without using a wish. Cuz... wishes.
GM Rat Sass
Hey, all. Had every intention of updating my games yesterday, but was discouraged by receiving a concussion in a rear end collision. Should be able to do so today, sans headache...
Otah Cragsmith
Yikes! That sucks.
Hope you feel better soon.

Turns out, headaches/concussions are really tenacious. Like a rabid rat, it's held on with locked jaws for waaaay longer than I thought. I've upped my dose of caffeine, and have avoided football/rugby derivatives per Aldebert's suggestion, so I think I've cleared the fog.
Game on.
GM Rat Sass
Should be updating today- typically, we're really, really slow in July, but our corporation just negotiated acceptance into a big insurance panel, and we're seeing its impact immediately. I've been spoiled to sneak in updates during my days, but woof...

It's been 'remodel', 'restock', 'rehire'... we're finally seeing the completion of our office overhaul, with constant 'pardon our dust' apologies...
So, I gotta say that I'm beyond grateful for you all enduring my glitching here in our Last Book. We're wrapping up Part III, at present, which leaves only two more Parts, before we conclude this collaborative journey.
I am loathe to coast cursorily over material, as it is becoming rarer air, so I will promise to give our last sections a full feel, as we head towards the end.
GM Rat Sass
Right there with you- not sick kitty, but slamming back-to-school hordes of goblins...
