Surprise round
The distracted little dwarf suddenly focuses on the events around him as the creatures open the door. "Woah!" Reflexively, his hand whips out and points, yielding a sickly yellow ray that stretches across the open space to strike the closest enemy in the gut. Ray of sickening DC14.
Round 1
Quite surprisingly, Rumple does not stay in the back where he belongs. Instead he moves slightly forward to hide behind the deadly Ruslo. He peeks out from the side and gestures rudely toward the other enemy, sending strange magics its way. Daze DC13

After Ruslo's attack hurt and Rumple's ray weakened the troglodyte that stepped into room, Fuzzy's blade flies through the air and hits the Troglodyte right in the chest. The troglodyte's face shows his surprise as he sinks to the floor bleeding and seeing the blade suddenly vanishing and reappearing in Fuzzy's hand.
Rumple then concentrates and casts a spell on the remaining troglodyte that dazes it.

Fuzzzy moves over so he can see the last troglodyte really well. Then he moves his hands and says....

Fuzzzy hurries after the troglodyte, but by the time he gets to the next room, he has forgotten what he was doing. "Are we playing tag?" he asks. "What fun!"
When Fuzzzy has moved as fast as he can, he finds himself in a different room.
"Found you!" he tells the troglodyte through the doorway. But, then he looks around the room he is in.

Fuzzzy speaks in a strange, hissing voice.

"Hello there! I've found you! Would you stop? I'd like to talk to you!"
"I'm good. Let's see where that critter has gone."
Ruslo heads into the room and peers into the rooms.
Room 5
Ruslo starts running and first sees an octagonal room that is covered in a fine layer of dust. It’s clearly been abandoned for a long time.
Room 4
Ruslo then stops in front of the door next to the room which is similarly octagonal and looks like an armory. Racks for weapons line the walls of this chamber; above the racks hang various shields, pieces of armor, weapons, and standards on display. Most of the racks are empty, but a few weapons remain in place.
A horrible stench fills the room as well, akin to the smell of rotten eggs mixed with the reek of an open sewer. This is the same smell that forced Ruslo to gag when the scaled humanoids appeared.
Ruslo was really trying to be attentive but he obviously failed to see the trapped entry leading into the armory. And the next thing he notices are Javelins flying in his direction and one of them hits Ruslos leg!

Rumple follows as well, but he stops at Ruslo. "If that guy gets away, we may have to fight the whole tower. And they may lead us through more traps in the chase. Maybe it is best to hold up here for a bit. Find someplace defensible?"

Llorva rushes up to Ruso and says, Wait! let me heal you before you proceed with the chase. If Ruso waits he should be put beneath Llorva in the initiative sequence for next round.

Fuzzzy laughs and chases his troglodyte friend up the stairs, quite enjoying their game of tag!

We are still in rounds and the troglodyte acts before Fuzzy and moves up the stairs.
Fuzzy does not see the troglodyte after he has moved up the stairs but follows him in a playful manner.
Kwannon, Rumple and Llorva are coming to see what is going on and as Ruslo is starting a discussion with Llorva he suddenly sees Fuzzy and his owl Bobby rushing up the stairs.
Fuzzy has made one move action now and I first describe what he sees and then Fuzzy, you can tell me what you want to do.
Fuzzy arrives at the next level where he sees a closed door from the central stairway. Bobby and Fuzzy can still hear the steps of the Troglodyte as he is running up the stairs.

"Up? Are you sure?" Fuzzzy asks his owl. "Well, alright!"
Fuzzy runs up the stairs with Bobby and just as he arrives on the fourth floor of the fortress he sees the door leading out of the central stairway being shut.
Ruslo is healed by Llorva and then Ruslo runs up and is now on the third floor and knows that Fuzzy must be farther up the stairs.
Llorva is still on the second floor and has just cast light on her bow while Rumple and Kwannon are also still waiting with her.
Most of the few remaining arms in the room have rusted away, making them useless in combat. However, the following valuable items can still be foun: a masterwork silver dagger, a masterwork light steel shield emblazoned with a leaping dolphin, and a banner depicting a bird made of living flame.You recognize the banner as belonging to the Band of the Phoenix, one of Absalom’s most famous hunting lodges during the Age of Blades.
