Just wanted to say that I won't be able to post for at least a few days because as I've mentioned before I live in Puerto Rico and we're about to get slammed by Hurricane Maria. It's currently a category 5, which is nuts. This has been a pretty crappy month. I'm probably going to be without water and electricty for a good long while.

Well, I survived. I'm back at work. And at home I currently have neither water nor power, but considering everything else going on in Puerto Rico, I'm feeling lucky. My two air conditioners are probably damaged--I won't know for sure until electricity comes back, which could be a couple weeks or more. But aside from that we didn't get any flooding to our home or any major property loss. Like I said, we were very lucky.
I'll be getting back into my games slowly for the time being.

Good to hear that you're safe, Vyk. Between the long silence and the news coverage, I have to admit I was starting to get worried - The situation over there sounds really bad. It seems like you were dealt a good hand in an otherwise incredibly skewed game, a bit like in this song (which is an attempt to translate a far more cynical version in Dutch, which is all about finding the upside in disastrously s~*!ty situations). I hope things will return to normal levels soon for you, stay safe!

No thoughts on our next adventure, just yet. But I should say that leveling up for me might be a bit of a challenge since I always kept my character on Hero Lab on my home PC. And the best estimate I have for getting power back is maybe 1 to 2 weeks. As it is I'm hoping we'll get running water by this Sunday. Don't know if anyone here has had the pleasure of showering with a bucket, but it's an over-rated experience, let me assure you.
But I guess, I can keep track of the stats here on my character page, and just do the actual leveling up on my lunch break at work. It's not ideal, but it should be manageable.

Nothing to compare with what you're going through of course Ray, but a massive ice storm the first Winter in our new house took our power out for over two weeks. Which is by way of saying I totally agree "bucket bathing" is highly overrated.
Give Elon a call to see if you can get one of the early solar packages from the deal Governor Rossello's trying to wrangle. I really hope they can pull that off.

I suppose I should look at what to do at level 6 for Vincent. Let's see... BAB and all saves go up, but so does power attack. I get a teamwork feat which turns into another use of determination, and one more 2nd level spell per day. And some judgments scale up by 1. And 1 more use per day of several abilities... more stuff than I thought, actually.
Edit: No day job. Why would Vincent perform menial labor?
