I'm an idiot. I just realized that this PFS version of August has Blind Fight also. I had a campaign version of him play Shattered Star and he had it but I thought he was the only one. Bah. Let me know if its not too late to reroll that previous miss chance. If it is, its cool. My mistake.
Another question, does the Fog Cloud prevent AoOs? I would have thought I'd get one. EDIT - Never mind, looks like it only went 5' away on the map.
August will take a 5' step in the direction that the wisp went and try to take it out the only way he knows how!
Miss Chance: 1d100 ⇒ 87
Miss Chance: 2d100 ⇒ (12, 6) = 18 - Seriously?
Miss Chance: 1d100 ⇒ 41
1st Attack: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (6) + 16 = 22 for Damage: 2d6 + 22 ⇒ (6, 5) + 22 = 33
Haste Attack misses
Iterative: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (17) + 11 = 28 for Damage: 2d6 + 25 ⇒ (2, 4) + 25 = 31
Confirm?: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (14) + 11 = 25 for Damage: 2d6 + 25 ⇒ (2, 1) + 25 = 28
Another question about the move. August wouldn't know the wisp was 5' away, he would "move" but stop after 5' when he sees the target. Does that count as a 5' step? I'm not sure of the game mechanic there.

![]() |

@August: The wisp moved away without dropping its guard at all. That is in character information that tells you something about its movement.
"Nel, can you see our attackers, or are you just stabbing the air at random?" "Riddy, that was Nel's rapier. He's just on the other side of the doorway."
Huritt backs up, casts a spell that makes Riddywipple vanish, then pulls a sheet of parchment from his pack.

GM.Kashka |

Fair questions - yes on another miss chance. Concealment does prevent AoOs but he also 5 foot 'step'.
August miss chance reroll: 1d100 ⇒ 35
August attack round 1, Vital: 1d20 + 16 ⇒ (13) + 16 = 29
August damage: 2d6 + 22 ⇒ (3, 6) + 22 = 31
With each attack, August takes a reflex save to avoid being shocked.
Reflex round 1, haste: 1d20 + 5 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 5 + 1 = 8
electric shock: 3d6 ⇒ (5, 1, 4) = 10
August hits once in round two, but does not confirm.
Reflex round 2, haste: 1d20 + 5 + 1 ⇒ (10) + 5 + 1 = 16
electric shock: 3d6 ⇒ (1, 3, 2) = 6
August takes 16 points of electricity backlash from his hits, but deals a total of 70 damage to the orange Wisp.
edit: you probably vital striked on round 1..VS extra damage: 2d6 ⇒ (6, 2) = 8

You can't execute an attack of opportunity against an opponent with total concealment, even if you know what square or squares the opponent occupies.
There actually isn't a prohibition againt AoOs in 20% concealment.
Riddywipple reads the scroll in his talons, then flies about tickling the big folk.
Move Movement
Riddy will see Zephyrus and Nel simply by heading for the doorway. May I assume that August is the loudest person in the other room, and that I have enough movement to eventually find him? With haste, I've got a fly speed of 90 ft.

Question, does moving into the illusory mist count as interacting with it? If so, Shandor will take a move action to move back to the other room and see what's happening there (since the warning about most spells not working but seeing that glitterdust did work will make him not go crazy on exothermic spells), then cast another glitterdust at the wisp(s) he sees there, provided he can see through the mist.
Riled up by this chaotic turn of events, Shandor treads towards the door to see what is happening there.
Remember, this is *not* real.

Shandor wades into the mist, but he can't see a thing.
This thing is bloody real! Alaznist blast this lying dragonling into oblivion...
At this stage, would using a standard action to interact more thoroughly with the mist grant another save against disbelief?
Will vs Illusion DC 26: 1d20 + 11 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 11 + 4 + 2 = 21

You can whisper messages and receive whispered replies. Those nearby can hear these messages with a DC 25 Perception check. You point your finger at each creature you want to receive the message. When you whisper, the whispered message is audible to all targeted creatures within range. Magical silence, 1 foot of stone, 1 inch of common metal (or a thin sheet of lead), or 3 feet of wood or dirt blocks the spell. The message does not have to travel in a straight line. It can circumvent a barrier if there is an open path between you and the subject, and the path's entire length lies within the spell's range. The creatures that receive the message can whisper a reply that you hear. The spell transmits sound, not meaning; it doesn't transcend language barriers. To speak a message, you must mouth the words and whisper.
Just so you know, as demonstrated with Drollis... Message is not telepathy - it is audible
