While waiting, Mel remembers something and rushes to his Porter. He turns back around, stuffing two scrolls into his belt pouch (feather fall and spider climb). "Better late than never, I guess..."

Despite its terrible subject matter, the statue does not radiate any evil to Quiella. When she pulls the piece of the veil off of it, however, she finds herself teleported away from the statue back into the previous room with all the dead bodies on the floor.
Those near the pit feel the air lighten, like a burden has just been released, although what that means is uncertain.

Mel starts, "Woah, what was that? I didn't realize I was holding my breath, but now I can breath again." He calls out to Valik (and as far as he knows, Quellia) "what happened? Everyone OK up there?"

Quiella makes her way back to the party. She hands the veil to Mel. "I found this on a gruesome statue in the other room. When I picked it up I found myself back in that room with all of the bodies. Maybe I should pick up random items more often! It was quite an experience."

Mel grins down at Quiella, "Yeah, sounds like fun!" Movement catches his eye as he see Valik coming back. He then glances over at Moadis and his grin snaps off. Clearing his throat and trying to sound all sagely, "Actually.. that may not be a good idea. Sure, you are innately protected from evil, but you never know with magical protections. An innocent or even good intentioned ward can still kill you." Feeling truly awkward now, he turns his back to the rest of the party and quickly winks at the she-paladin.

Quiella smirks at the young elf. "I can keep myself protected from almost anything."
crunch-wise, Quiella's saves and defenses work just as well against a good- or netural-aligned attack as an evil-aligned one.

Valik blink twice as Quiella disappears then comes back from behind him moments later. HE breathes a sigh of relief as he feels the air of harshness and malice seem to subside momentarily. He hurries back before the tide changes again.
O vote for the closest one also, no sense in someone or something pincering us from behind if we met a foe.

GM Harker |

Moving away from the rooms full of the dead, the group makes its way next to the south end of the main hallway. The heavy hitters of the party then quickly break through the barricade concealing a hidden entrance and Melufiuos scouts slightly ahead for traps. Finding a narrow hallway that leads west, but no obvious dangers, the Rogue/Magus gives the rest of the party the okay to progress forward.
With Moadis in the lead, the group discovers the hallway terminates into an opening into another room. Inside, the stench of death is strong in what appears to be an ornate shrine. Another sihedron mosaic like that found in the grand temple above lies on the floor immediately west of the what appears to be the opposite end of undiscovered secret door. Two rows of slender columns carved with dizzying designs support the ceiling twenty feet overhead and every inch of the chamber's walls is covered with intricate sigils and pictograms. A fat pillar stands in the center of the chamber. Six corpses lie on the floor near the base of this central pillar. An altar of red marble stands near the western wall, and it has iron manacles attached to its surface. The air is charged with palpable malevolence.
You see three creatures standing around the marble altar, their skin sallow and rotten with the shreds of clothing left on their bodies covered in fresh blood and viscera. The creature in the center with a strange symbol around his neck finishes casting a spell on one (blue) of his compatriots and slinks down to hide behind the altar.
Once you see them, a Knowledge (religion) check can be made here to identify these creatures. A separate Knowledge (religion) check can be made to identify the symbol around the center one's neck.
Also, once you enter the room you can make a DC 25 Perception check.

Yeah, I'm fine with the casting/activation of one or two buffs before you make it to the room, so Quiella and Valik are good in that respect.
The sihedron mosaic is actually a mortification device consisting of small pieces of glass that jut out of the floor. Moving across it would be equivalent to dealing with caltrops.

I can't see the map at work, but I suspect Halkale would enter the room, with Frostfur and then he would cast Gravity Bow. I am going to hold Frostfur back until the less squishy have a chance to go, can he delay? or something. I know Q is healing him, but I hate to use it off the bat or get Frostfur killed.
Halkale and Frostfur step into the room and to the side. Halkale begins casting a spell while looking around.

Halkale casts Gravity Bow on his weapon and instructs Frostfur to stay put, in order to allow the heavy hitters into the room first.
One of the creatures charges the opening and attempts to bite Moadis, but ends up spinning around and not even getting near the paladin with his teeth. Another follows suit, hissing when his attempt to attack is foiled by the presence of his ally.

Divine Favor is actually not one of Quiella's known spells. She did have a scroll of it though. Do you need some kind of check from me for reading it before the fight or can we assume I made it in a low-stress situation?

Mel tries to alleviate the bottleneck. He rushes forward and tumbles past the dude at the door. Then he casts color spray DC14, hoping to stun them long enough for everyone else to get past.

GM Harker |

Quiella, Divine Favor is a paladin spell, you should be able to use the scroll without any issues unless you're too low a level or you lose it due to your archetype.
Mel, you'll have to double move to end in that square, since you only move half speed with acrobatics unless you take a -10 to the roll.
Melufiuos moves to the opening and tumbles past the enemy without opening himself up to attack.

If I'm still allowed to cast, then he will go ahead and try color spray, casting defensively.

Moadis, there's a ghoul between you and the space you want to move into, otherwise it's all hard corners. You'd need an acrobatics check or bull rush the creature out of the way if you wanted to move there. Did you want to attack instead?
Moadis recognizes the creatures who charged forward are both ghouls. Although he is immune to it, those without elf blood can be paralyzed by their touch. Also, their bite can spread a disease that turns the victim into a ghoul if they die from it. The creature behind the altar is a more powerful type of ghoul known as a ghast. Ghasts emit a stench that can sicken those around it.
Although he does not recognize it, Moadis thinks the symbol around the ghast's neck is probably the unholy symbol of some deity.
I'll give Moadis a chance to change his action if he wishes, although if he doesn't get a chance to respond soon I'll just assume he goes with the channeling.
