Both paladins move forward to engage a reefclaw, but the sea creature is too nimble and dodges their attacks.
Halkale and Melufiuos shoot more arrows into the reefclaw approaching them, but despite all the arrows sticking out of it, it's still up.
Valik tries to tumble past the reefclaw for a better position, but finds himself grappled by one of the monster's poisonous claws. 3 damage to Valik, along with the grapple. Please make a Fortitude save vs. poison.

I hate to screw myself over, but since I was grappled all you were trying to do is maintain the grapple to inflict damage, and by failing you still keep me, but do no damage. I actually have to spend my turn to escape if I so wished...I could be wrong however. Just wanting to be fair and honest is all :)

I assumed Ophelia used Quiella's square as soft cover to arrive at her current location. The reefclaw wouldn't have had another AoO anyway.
The reefclaw on the west side of the room finally dies after taking two more of Halkale's arrows. Its claws lash out at the air in a frenzy before it finally stops moving.

Halkale fires an arrow straight at the reefclaw holding Ophelia and the projectile rips through the creature's eye to hit whatever it calls a brain.
