I was at my dentist's all yesterday getting a crown fitted, and didn't feel up to posting until today. Working on fixing that!

Hey, sorry for dropping off the air like I did. I didn't mean to, it just kinda happened. This past week and weekend have been busy for me, and I've hit the point where I need to take a step back for a little while, clear my head, and recharge. I'll try not to be gone long, and I understand if you don't want to hold a spot open for me, but I do plan on coming back in a few weeks.

It's been a much longer move than I originally anticipated. Hopefully I'll get something up tomorrow, but I obviously have a lot to catch up on as well as a game I'm running in which I need to get to them because they were starting to think I was never coming back lol.

I'm working through my lunch hour today, and I have an after-work event to attend. I'll try to post an update late tonight, but it might not be until tomorrow.

First up, I'd like to apologize for my silence. I've been working up to moving house, and the big day was today. We don't have an internet connection yet, and probably won't for several days (though we're working on it). I have a smartphone with a data plan, but 500MB doesn't go far when I'm using it for job-searching as well. However, my mother lives 5 minutes away and I'm welcome there any time, and there's a library within walking distance, so I'll be around.

Please don't write me out of the campaign, as this is temporary. I'll be here, but sporadic. If I'm holding things up, bot me. If there's something Helena would reasonably do that would help the party out of combat, have her do it if I don't get to it first. Her combat MO is to keep people alive, channeling if it's needed and she can avoid healing enemies. She currently has a life link active on Cerin, so if he's below his maximum hit points at the start of her turn, he'll heal up to 5 and she'll take as much damage.

Thanks for the heads-up, Veronica. This sounds like a trying time, and I wish you the best. Please don't let the games you play on the Internet with strangers add one iota to your stress levels!

The down-side to Ronnie's departure is we're left with just two PCs with active players (Cerin and Orik).

Kyle (Kyrian) and Adam (Gwyn) are both also having some life issues and needed to step away for a few weeks. I'm reasonably sure that Adam will be rejoining us at some point, and Kyle does seem to pop up periodically to let us know he's still around: I'm hopeful that once Kyle gets through this adversity, he'll be back regularly too.

But with Ronnie (Helena) going through something similar, I'm going to have to bot three out of five PCs, plus the NPC Shalelu. I'm OK with doing this as long as the remaining players are OK with it.

Cerin and Orik: Do we want to keep going as is, or should we put this game on hold until one or more of the other players can return?

Let me know how you would like to proceed.

I would be fine with taking a short break if it feels like too much of burden. I know real life can put other things on hold and I wouldn't want most of the group missing out on (I think?) the finale.

As a complete aside, have you all noticed the Paizo Humble Bundle? >$350 of PDFs for just $25, plus a physical copy of the Beginner's Box. I bought it even though I already had more than half of the items!

Yes, I looked at it, but I already have all but 1 of the books and the beginner's box (mostly books, a few pdf's). Still a great deal!

Definitely on my radar. There's a lot of good stuff in there!

It's a great deal, but I won't get much out of it. My collection's too big :P

Also, sorry GM; turns out the internet here is worse than I thought. I can't even view the map (keeps telling me to clear my cache when I try to load google docs, even though I've done it three times and tried two browsers), so I don't know what my options are >.>

There's a goblin west of Helena that she can flank with Cerin if she takes a 5 ft step to the north, or she can attack the jester that keeps trying to cast spells on her to her northwest.

I'm still on vacation in Arizona... the Grand Canyon was amazing!

I'm leaving for home tomorrow, and will (hopefully) be able to update during my long layover in Philadelphia.

Just got home, and I got really sick on the flight. It'll be tomorrow before the next update.

It seems that one of the two remaining original PCs for this game has pretty much stopped posting: Kyle (Kyrian) hasn't made any posts under any aliases in about five weeks. He also has not responded to the PMs I've sent him.

I'm thinking we may have lost another player...

Sure seems like it. Might want to put out some feelers to see if we can find a replacement, assuming he doesn't suddenly respond.

Bummer. I can ask around my games and see if there's any interest if you want.

Man, I hate it when players drop off the radar. =( Hope he's alright, whatever's happening.

Sorry that I've been slowing down in my posting rate. I haven't been able to post during my lunch hour this week so far, and I've been really busy in the evenings with my personal life. I'm hoping to get the pace back up now.

I'm sorry for my unexplained absence everyone. This last month has just been an absolute emotional hell ride for me. I suffer from depression, and there's times where it'll hit me hard, but this last month has probably been the absolute worst. You guys know that I don't like to pop out with out explanation, and I probably should have said something, so if things are still trying to get going, I'd like to come back so we can roll forward, but if not, then I understand.

Welcome back! Sorry to hear about your troubles, I have had some problems with depression myself, so I understand. Glad you're still with us and I hope things get better for you.

I've only been here for a bit, but I think we can all agree it's great to have you back, Kyrian. Real life stuff trumps game, so you take care of you first. If you're ready to go, we're ready to have you back. :)

Does Gwyn want the +1 Leather Armor? It only gives her a 10% spell failure chance and would increase her AC by +3. She'll need it if she keeps leaping into battle!

Kyrian should probably get the +1 Mithril Short Sword.

I think Helena should get the Cloak of Resistance as she has the lowest saves overall.
