Sorry to see you go Kyrian. Hope that things get better and I hope that you are able to come back someday. If not, I wish you luck.
I'm okay either way as far as having only 4 PCs or recruit back up to 5.
As for Shalelu, I'd love to have stick around. There's a lot of potential to expand Gwyn's character by having the two elves interact.

Helena the Pale |

Good luck with everything, Kyrian. It's a shame to see you go, but sometimes life has other plans. I hope everything goes well for you, and that you can work around the blows you've been dealt.
I'm happy to keep going with four, bring in someone else, keep Shalelu, get rid of Shalelu, whatever really. For what it's worth, I'm certainly appreciating Shalelu's ranged support.

Sorry to see you go Kyrian! I hope things get better for you.
I am fine with the 4 + Shalelu. I don't know if you noticed, but Cerin is kind of sweet on her... ;)

GM Haladir |

I'm writing out Kyrian with a plotline from his backstory.
This will allow us to re-introduce him if Kyle's situation allows him to return to the game. I'd written a subplot into the next book that used this storyline. I kind of like what I did with it, so you may well be meeting Kyrian again as an NPC at some pont...
It would seem that the consensus is to continue the adventure with a 4-PC party, with Shalelu as a party NPC.

Helena the Pale |

I don't mind you taking the liberties. I'll hold off posting until you've done so. :)

Helena the Pale |

Hi guys, something's happened with life, and I may be spotty for a few days/a week while I get my head sorted. I'm safe and well, but I need some time to adjust, so I'm taking a step back for a bit. I'll still be around, and may post in discussion if something needs my input, but I can't make promises for gameplay. GM, should combat happen, I'm happy for you to bot Helena at her current stats, and I'll try to at least update her soon.

GM Haladir |

Just an FYI...
I had planned to keep Shalelu a level below you, so that she doesn't outshine anyone... particularly Kyrian, as both characters share some of the same design space.
With Kyrian's exit, I decided to level her up. For her game mechanics, I'm trying to keep her build to be more-or-less on par with her published stats from Pathfinder #49: The Brinewall Legacy.
On another note, I'd like to have you all figure out what you're doing with your collected loot before we return to the dungeon. Now's also the time to purchase new supplies. Let me know if you want to go shopping, and if you want to role-play or hand-wave it.

I wouldn't turn away a barkskin potion, but my AC is already the best in the group, so someone else probably could stand to have it instead. Likewise, the heroism potion is useful, as is an alchemist's fire - we should probably spread those out among the party.

I think we may want to sell the Wand of Unnatural Lust as well, as it is not on any of our spell lists?

I think I claimed the everburning lantern. I say we hang onto the remove disease and restoration potions for the whole group.
I think I'll also take the Potions of Jump, Feather Fall, and Barkskin, if no one else will claim them.

Helena will hold onto the potions of remove disease and lesser restoration, as the party medic.

Does this look ok for final distribution? Selling the Wand will bring our gold to
7741.2 / 6 = 1,290.2 gp each.
Shall we see what is available for sale?

The wand's not fully-charged, so you won't get full price for it... With 22 charges, the sale price wil be 990 gp.
BTW, you all have edit access to the Treasure List, so go ahead and mark who's getting what on the actual Treasure List.
In general: Items with intrinsic treasure value (gems, jewelry, art objects, rare wine, etc) are listed at the price you can sell them for. On the sheet, the sale value is 100%, meaning you'll get full price.
Useful items (equipment, magic items) are generally sold at 50% book value. The sheet will auto-calc that.
Also note on the list that some listing are for multiple identical items. (E.g. two potions of feather fall).

Helena the Pale |

Thanks for working out the loot, guys! Helena should be pretty well-updated now. :)

Orik_Vancaskerkin |

Bottled yeti fur is a weird item.
So, the only things there that stand out to me are the wands of cure light wounds and bless weapon. The latter is an awesome spell, and a wand of it would go a long way to deal with DR X/good baddies. Plus, automatically confirming crits is always awesome.

GM Haladir |

Hey folks.
I've certainly been more-than-partially to blame here, but I'm feeling like this game is dragging a bit. I'm going to make a concerted effort to pick up the pace.
This might be ambitious, but I'd like to try to finish up Burnt Offerings before the end of April... I'm kind of itching to get to Book 2!

Helena the Pale |

Sorry, partly my fault as well. Computer issues bogged me down. I'm now on my third replacement Surface in as many years. -__-

1 person marked this as a favorite. |

Sorry for my silence, people. I'm running my first PFS special tomorrow - #8-00: The Cosmic Captive - and I've spent an entire week getting ready for and stressing over it. After tomorrow it'll be over, and I can get back to posting.

Gwynethiel |

Good luck! I hope it goes well and you have fun.
On another note, I recently saw that Ronnie (Helena's player) got mentioned on the Crowning Moment of Funny page for Pathfinder on the TV Tropes site.
