Saitama |
I only wish I had ranks in Perform: Oratory just to do a bit of Hamlet right now :P
"Huzzah, to Iroran justice!", shouts Saitama as the man's features become less feral. Turning to Marduk, he raises his fist in the air at an angle towards the monk, waiting for his part in the victory celebration.
"Indeed, Mr. Wyeth. Hmm... did Captain Hestram mention if Nigel was a half-orc?", checking his hand of cleanliness before scratching his bald head, pondering if their target has been discombobulated.
Wyeth Riceak |
"Not that I recall. Nor did that other fellow."
Wyeth peers down into the hole. "Stuffy name for an orcish sort, though."
Coronoides |
Coronoides remains tight-lipped. He's not been up with the banter and now he's failed the rest of them so badly that he is finding it harder and harder to converse.
So instead he plays with his bow string - as if it would make any difference.
Wyeth Riceak |
"You're not seriously going down there," says Wyeth in disgust... nonetheless willing to help anchor the rope or pull Saitama back up.
Saitama |
"It is my duty; I cannot leave this job half-finished without confirming the body.". Noting the body is down the second stall, Saitama asks Wyeth and Marduk, "You two, take me down No. 2!"
DC 15 Climb check: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (12) + 3 = 15
Marduk the Pale |
Hehe, a smelly business that fumble would be indeed.
Str roll for an easy descend into the......let Saitama give it a title. :P
Lowering Saitama gently: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 2 = 11
"A hand if you would, Wyeth.."
Wyeth Riceak |
As for a title, I'd expect Saitama to go with something like "the perilous pit of poo"...
"Whoa, you're slipping a little there, friend! Not a lot of traction on this goopy floor," says Wyeth as he braces himself against the load.
What Marduk said: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (10) + 4 = 14
Saitama |
Since the DC for climbing down unknotted rope is 15, think we're good... now just one more to get up!
Grabbing the body, Saitama then yanks on the rope and announces his readiness to be pulled up. "Bring me up fellas, we need to get this guy outta the dumps!"
Saitama |
I think the GM would be satisfied by that roll Wyeth, so continuing.
With his other fellow muscular allies hoisting him and their crud-covered cargo out, Saitama looks over the body for any form of identification, thoroughly washing his hands afterwards.
Saitama Perception: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 2 = 21
If Wisdom was his dumpstat, I think Saitama's response would be a Mythbusters "Well, there's your problem", pointing at the missing head.
Silas V. Garman |
With a sniff of disdain Silas moves out of the bathroom and lets his comrades indulge their fecal fascination, "Really, I hope you do not think you are coming out here before you have cleaned that muck off. I trust one of you divine types has create water, showers for the befoulded please - I suppose prestidigitation would be too much to hope for.."
GM G |
Assuming you are ready for the next fight...
Moving over to the last room the pathfinders ready themselves for a confrontation with whatever is making that noise. It almost sounds as if a Mwangi tribe has taken over the museum! Saitama throws the door wide open to this grand hall, wherein the Blakros Museum shows off its finest collections. Mock vines cling to the walls and hang from the fifty-foot-high domed ceiling, and huts of grass are strewn about the open area.
At the center of this sprawling chamber, a miniature replica of a traditional Mwangi ziggurat rises out of the mist to a height of nearly twenty feet. At the top of the ziggurat, a rail-thin elven gentleman is strapped to an altar, his bare chest painted with strange sigils and monkey paw-shaped blots of paint.
A large gorilla is standing over him, listening to a band of more than 20 savage primates drumming, snarling, spitting, and cavorting madly about the ziggurat.
You have managed to surprise the apes, the loud noise they made surely helped!

Saitama, Silas & Sterelin can also take their 1st round action as their initiative is before the enemy
Wyeth Riceak |
Thats a *lot* of monkeys!
With a sweeping motion of his hands, Wyeth quietly intones "దీవించు."
(Bless, +1 to attack and fear save rolls for all allies, one minute.)
Marduk the Pale |
Well brother Saitama, you get to score 1st blood on this ape.
When the others of the group have taken their turn and the enemy as well, Marduk heads up to the gorilla.
Move: to the big ape.
Attack:
Right hook: 1d20 + 3 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 3 + 1 = 11
Dmg: 1d6 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5
Edit: No Wyeth, forgot.
Silas V. Garman |
Had some preparing to do. We were waiting on the results of the latrine dive I believe.
Before heading into the final room Silas drinks both his remaining extracts, and throws back his mutagen. There is little outward change, but his cowl seems to full out becoming bulkier and his movements become swifter.
Shield, Expenditious Retreat, and Mutagen for +4 Str, -2 Int, and +2 Natural Armor.
Silas uses his alchemically enhanced speed to race around to the ape's rear his bardiche in hand, alchemists fire clutched in his tail. To L5, should provide a flank due to reach weapon.
Saitama |
Before opening the door, Saitama will cast Divine Favor
Seeing the sight before him, Saitama quickly says a holy word of Irori before bursting forward to protect the prostate elf. "Lay off of him, you proselytizing primate!".
[ooc]Swift action for Blessing of Strength @ self for "Muscleatude": +1 to melee attacks, CMB rolls, and Strength checks. Charging to H6.
Monkey Upper @ I5: 1d20 + 5 + 2 + 1 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 5 + 2 + 1 + 1 + 1 = 12
Damage on hit: 1d6 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 4 + 1 = 10
Ouch...
Coronoides |
Realising the seriousness of the situation and his recent exploits, Coronoides swallows his pride and draws his sword rather than his bow.
That ought to be worth a +1 motivational bonus to the group!
Sterelin McKeaough |
Concentrating on the ape Sterelin tries to drop it into a slumber.
Surprise round Slumber DC 14. If it is still standing when his turn comes up in the full round, Sterelin will use Misfortune on the ape DC14 and then cackle to keep it misfortune if successful.
GM G |
Slumber Will Save Gorilla: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4
The latrine side adventure did not result in anything out of the ordinary, you where able to retrieve the torso of the half-orc. The only item of minor interest on his torso was a keyring on his belt. After Saitama thoroughly cleaned himself and you prepared you went onwards
Due to the gorilla missing his will save for the slumber hex I will pauze the action just right after the surprise round. Silas, you where just able to reach the ape's back in one move action if you run through threatened squares. As the ape is flatfooted he can't take AoO's so I am fine with that being your surprise round action
Silas rapidly repositions to behind the gorilla and Saitama charges on, effortlessly hitting the ape with the Iroran Fist of Vehemence. The hit is of such potency that the brute goes down immediately, snoring loudly!

Saitama |
"Hmm... I don't remember using the Sleeper Slap or the Knockout Knee...", Saitama ponders aloud. With the monkey out of the fight already, Saitama moves to the strapped man and starts undoing the restraints.
"Good sir, justice has arrived!"
Sterelin McKeaough |
"The beast is merely sleeping due to my sorcery. I would suggest that it is killed before it awakes."
Woohoo! Finally contributed. I think this is the first productive thing that Sterelin has managed since knowledge rolls at the beginning of the adventure ;-)
Saitama |
"How Abominiminable, suggesting I kill something in its sleep! There is no challenge or sportsmanship in that!", Saitama cries out as he continues to undo the elf's bindings.
Certainly made this fight easier :P And with other characters (like my ninja/magus), I would have whole-heartedly taken the opportunity to do so... just can't see it with Saitama, though!
Silas V. Garman |
Silas steps forward and slams his glaive-guisarme into the slumbering primate's exposed throat, "I am not so squeamish," he pauses, "perhaps not the right word choice. Let us say instead I am not so concerned with sport."
Coup Damage: 3d10 + 12 ⇒ (3, 8, 3) + 12 = 26
GM G |
Silas kills the ape. While Saitama notices that the elf's eyes are moving wildly in his eye sockets. The elf also seems to be more feral than usual for elves. He strains to get out of his bonds.
The monkeys keep on drumming wildly.
Marduk the Pale |
I reckon there will be something with the elf.
Perception: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (19) + 4 = 23
Wow, ill accept that result.
"Guys, there's something off with 3 of those monkeys. They look more wooden than a natural one.", and he points at the mentioned 3.
Silas V. Garman |
Spying the monkeys Silas produces a bomb and hurls it at them, aiming for one of the wooden monkeys and trying to catch the others in the flames.
Perception: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (19) + 3 = 22
Touch Attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (18) + 5 = 23 Damage: 1d6 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6 So 6 fire damage to all, the ones not targeted may makes a DC 15 reflex save for half.
GM G |
Although one of the weird monkeys gets an exploding bomb on top of its head it did not seem to hurt it at all! The more normal monkeys caught in the blast also do not seem to be hurt. The monkeys disperse quickly, although they also quickly go back to their previous drumming and dancing about.
Saitama |
"Oh, there.", the warpriest says nonchalantly. "You wait here.", he says to the strapped man and walks over to the wooden monkey.
When round appropriate if we're still in combat.
GM G |
They sure are supposed to catch on fire.... Unless something weird is happening...
Silas V. Garman |
"Hmmm, interesting," the tiefling says attempting to skewer one of the wooden monkeys with his polearm experimentally, moving to flank with Saitama.
GliaveG: 1d20 + 3 + 2 ⇒ (12) + 3 + 2 = 17 Damage: 1d10 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12
Wyeth Riceak |
After watching the proceedings for a bit, Wyeth clears his throat. "How about we try the thing we were given that's supposed to dispel this strangeness?"
Wyeth Riceak |
This. The Jambala Jaeg. Doesn't read like it'll help and I don't think we have an "arcanist" handy anyway, but I'm trying to keep true to Wyeth's character: average smarts at best, and near-totally inexperienced with magic of any variety.
Silas V. Garman |
"I have no idea how to use that thing, do any of you?"
Sterelin should be able to use it I think?
I'll note out of character that the spell should work on 9 targets within 30ft, so we might as well use it on everyone as a precaution.
Spellcraft: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (1) + 8 = 9
