    Or just north if you want stand next to the monster. There's a little half-square on the east and west sides of the map. And besides if you shift NE from where you are now don't you become an NPC?

    This is a tight space for a fight, and was really not well set up in the scenario, so we are going to have to make some allowances, I think...

    Coleen sees Tanna in bad shape, and pulls her out of the way, as Thranalas steps forward and blasts flame at all three of the undead.

    Reflex Save, Green: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8
    Reflex Save, Blue: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6
    Reflex Save, Purple: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7

    Not so nimble, these undead...

    The flames spread down the wall as Oggil continues his assault. He pulls the head clean off of the green monster, and then kicks the blue into the flames, destroying it as well.

    Round 2: (Bold may act)
    Tanna, Oggil
    Purple (7 dmg), Green(14 dmg), Blue(15 dmg)
    Colleen, Thanalas

    Tanna is up, but I think she is disabled at 0 hp and has a few saves outstanding, so let's give her a chance to resolve before letting the purple one take a shot.

    Also, with this round going so well for you, I think we will be done in the next 24 hours, so I will start getting chronicles ready. I think I have everyone's info already, and DuMoire is a named pirate and slaver, if anyone needs to know that for faction cards. If you want anything else listed on your sheet, just post in the discussion tab.

    Cool. If Tanna channels to heal, then he won't have to worry about stabilizing. That sounds like a pretty reasonable action for him to take.

    I acknowledge, Channeling Energy affects "all creatures of one type ([b]either[b/] undead or living)". And Tanna is 100% female (you can tell from her boobs in the picture!), she was just imprinted by the Dwarves who raised her!

    Feeling the sting of the undead's attack and feeling her lifeforce slipping away, Tanna is pulled backward out of danger by her companions. She again calls out for Torag's favor, this time sending healing to all living within her area of influence.

    Hopefully both disease saves though, and after failing the first, there is no further issue with failing a second.

    Yes, that was the right order! The first two were for temporary paralysis (which means that you are indeed paralyzed for 2d4 + 2 ⇒ (4, 2) + 2 = 8 rounds. However, I can find no definitive ruling on channeling while paralyzed. You do have to present your holy symbol, but considering you just did that before getting paralyzed, I suppose you could argue that you already are... and since it is a radius effect, I see no reason why you have to be facing the ghoul. So I am going to allow it.

    Colleen steps forward, and stabs the creature through the brain as it is biting Oggil. The creature is destroyed, but not before it's damage has been done. Oggil is paralyzed for 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3 rounds, and has contracted a disease that, if nothing else, will need to be cured before the end of the scenario.

    With no more monsters, you have 2 of the four of you paralyzed, while the ship is burning pretty good now.

    You have 7 rounds to put out the fire or the burning vessel will sink. Which means you have 7 rounds to get everyone off the ship that you don't want dead, and you still have the tablets to find, and are supposed to provide proff of DuMoire's defeat.

    Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (18) + 7 = 25

    Thranalas quickly finds a small, padlocked chest. Using the key from before, it clicks open, and you find wrapped in moldering velvet, four tablets, each crafted from a different material— copper, gold, lead, and black slate.

    After 2 more rounds, Oggil is also able to act, so you are all able to pull Tanna and DuMoire to the rowboat and depart, as the ship burns and sinks.

    You turn in DuMoire, which is certainly ample proof of your success! The next time you see him, he is swinging from the dockside gallows.

    The crudely fashioned tablets are incredibly ancient forgeries of the original tablets marking the royal seals of four of the Old Azlant’s noble houses. Regardless of their non-authenticity, their uncanny detail provides great insight into lost languages and historical data associated with the four houses.

    Congratulations! You have completed this scenario, and earned both prestige points. Chronicles are >> here <<.

    Oggil does have Ghoul Fever, which can be cured with 2 consecutive saves, but the damage per day is 1d3 Con and 1d3 Dex. So you can roll to see which happens first, or you can get a remove disease case (I think it may be 150 gp). I think this is how it works, right?

    Scarab Sages

    Dwarven monk-8; HP 76/76; Re-roll@+3(+6 FJC) 1/1; Stunning Fist 8/8 (DC18); Ki 8/8; Wand CLW 38/50; AC 20(24 w/mage armor; Fort +10(+12 vs poison); Ref +10(evasion); Will +12;Extra +2 vs spells, +4 vs enchantments; Init +4; Perc +16

    Yeap, so I'll roll the fort saves, and if he gets down to 4, will do the cure thing.

    * marked days, he'll make the save if someone can use the heal skill on him, best roll four attempts if you have the skill.

    fort: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10 (*) con/dex damage: 2d3 ⇒ (1, 3) = 4 ->con14;dx11;
    fort: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (19) + 4 = 23 no further damage?
    fort: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (7) + 4 = 11 con/dex damage: 2d3 ⇒ (1, 2) = 3->dcon 13, dex 9 (**)
    fort: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 11 (***) con/dex damage: 2d3 ⇒ (3, 3) = 6 -> con 10; dex 6;
    fort: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 2 = 9 (****) con/dex damage: 2d3 ⇒ (1, 3) = 4 -> con 9; dex 3;

    If anyone is trained if heal and can make a DC13 heal check, Oggil recovers without issue.
    If you fail that, but make a second one, he'll recover on day 3 with just minor stat damage (that heals nicely before the next scenario).

    Failing that A third roll will help see if he continues to take damage. And if that is made and a 4th one then he'll be okay. After that is starts to get too complicated to roll until I know the stat damage already taken.

    If nobody has those skills or fails them, then after five days he'll be paying for a priest.

    Colleen frowns deeply at Thranalas over this development, but smiles again once they are off the sinking ship with all that they came for.
