GM Fuzzfoot |

No crit, but 2 good hits is enough to fell the large giant. It crashes to the ground with a resounding thud.
These giants have little of value, but one of them is wearing a xorn robe.
This brown and gray robe is always dirty, and the chest and the back of each shoulder is decorated with a gem-like eye pattern.
The wearer gains a +5 bonus on Perception checks, and can use earth glide to pass through up to 20 feet of natural or worked stone per day. The distance traveled with earth glide does not need to be consecutive, but it must be used in 5-foot increments. The wearer is able to safely chew, swallow, digest, and derive nutrition from gems, precious metals, and metallic ore, with 100 gp worth of these materials sustaining him for 1 full day. If the wearer removes the robe after such a meal, he is sickened until 24 hours have passed since the last meal of this kind. Wearing the robe again immediately negates this penalty.
This area is all now sort of marshy - headed for T or R?

Toboyn |

'R' seems to be in keeping with our historic "left hand on the wall" traversal; I'll place my vote there.

![]() |

Mouser looks through all the items they found, wondering who might benefit most from the gray robes.
"It's a little too dirty for my style," he says.
R looks good to me.

GM Fuzzfoot |

The R's have it.
The ground grows soft and muddy in this branch of the valley; initially dotted with small pools of mucky water, it transforms into a murky, fetid-smelling bog after a few hundred yards. Only a few patches of solid earth poke from the ominous, glassy black water, held together by knotted clumps of sedge grass and wild rye. Deep within the swamp, an unusual arrangement of curiously shaped, lichen-encrusted boulders juts from the waters, forming a widely spaced pattern that appears deliberate.

GM Fuzzfoot |

Yah, you have miles of bog trudging between the last battle and now, so plenty of time to heal Mouser along the way - just let me know.

![]() |

Mouser thanks Toboyn for the healing. When they arrive at the strange swamp, Mouser can't help but look at the boulders, along with the others.
"I suppose that invites investigation, though I don't love the idea of swimming out there," he says.
"Anyone have a better idea than a swim?" he asks.

Balmir |

Balmir scowls in the direction of the rocks. "Wonder what that is." He searches the ground around him and finds a small rock then tosses it at one of the boulders.

Somer Hiondu |

Somer stares out at the rocks and shrugs when Balmir's throw lands.
"Well it didn't move. I could try shooting an arrow at it..."
He shrugs and lets an arrow fly at one of the rocks, not expecting much.

Suddenly, Mouser hears something in the water nearby.

Toboyn fishes around in his pack to retrieve a wand, but takes no other action.
