Salonius Barradin |
Salonius slips and finding himself on the table pushes himself up careful to avoid the presumably greasey floor, "I am truly sorry gentlemen, I am afraid I seem to have slipped in something. I am very sorry to have disturbed your leisure please accept my sincerest apologies."

Saul hears nothing in the full and loud bar. And even if he did - simply following Salonius' gaze, who seems to know what to look for - tells him that whatever it is, is out of range.
The gentlemen at the table don't take well Salonius' clumsy spilling of some drinks. And they don't care about apologies. The first fist hits him as soon as he pushes himself up from the table again, sending him into the lap of the next guy. Who is also not pleased.

The bar is full, so no 5' steps, and only half movement. The fight is without weapons, as long as you don't change that. The five twins of Jhen are the drunk guys.
Foxy Quickpaw |
Everyone is staring at the fight to break out. On the neighbouring table a mug falls over and the beer wets a guys pant, who gets up and pushes the one sitting besides him for doing so. The other one refuses the accusation and pushes back.
Salonius faces another punch.

Logan jumps off his stool, a smile on his face. He loves bar fights! His joy is temped a little however, seeing one of the patrons swinging at his new wizard friend.
He makes his way over to Salonius and grabs the guy who just hit him.

Brass knuckles don't count as unarmed. And you would have to take either a -4 penalty to deal non lethal anyway, or put them away. And you should put them away, because if not, the daggers come out, as I told earlier. As for now I assume you intended unarmed non lethal.

playful pranksters that spend most of their time either
relaxing in cool forest glades or engaged in some sort of
prank. Although such mischief is usually spontaneous,
some faerie dragons have been known to spend months
or even years in preparation of one truly spectacular joke.
Travelers making their way through lands known to
be inhabited by these good-natured—but sometimes
annoying—tricksters are advised to keep up their guard lest
they face all manner of creative annoyances (horses painted
with berry juice, squirrels placed inside bedrolls, and
clothing decorating high branches being a few examples).
Unlike true dragons, faerie dragons do not grow larger
with age, but their scales do change color, starting with
red and moving through the rainbow to reach dark violet
at old age.
Logan Hawkes |
Logan limps back over to the bar. He plops down on a stool, weak from loss of blood.
He mutters to Saul, "Saul....Can you...heal at all? I'm not...doin' so hot."
Saul Gibson |
"Your dodging skills have gone down in prison, Hawkes. We are going to have to find you some better armor, looks like. Fhingle! You got any healing left?"
Saul glances over at Salonius. The young mage was pretty beat up too, and quieter than normal.
I wonder what we can do to lure the dragon out into the open. A gift? Set him up for a big practical joke?
"Clenchjaw, sir... You notice any booze going missing recently? Like disappeared over night? Wondering if our invisible little friend has a preference."

Recovering a bit, thanks to Fhingle's magic, Logan takes a pull from his hip flask. Seeing Clenchjaw noticing this move and giving him a dirty look, Logan says, "Sorry. Reflex action. I'll have another beer. Thanks."
Note: don't drink my own stuff in front of the proprietor.
Then he turns to Fhingle. "I could use another hit of that, if you've got one left."
Logan Hawkes |
After a bit of recover (and not a few mouthfuls of beer), Logan begins to feel better. It's then that he realizes his friends are talking about some sort of invisible dragon.
How much have I had to drink?
"Dragon? If there was a dragon in here, there'd be no room for us. Maybe you guys have had a few too many tonight."
However, he doesn't remember Saul talking about seeing dragons, drunk or sober. Something fishy is going on here. Logan looks around the room to see if he can spot anything.
Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (7) + 7 = 14
Logan Hawkes |
Logan leans over to look at Saul and says, somewhat under his breath,
"We'd better do something about this dragon or get out of here. I'm pretty sure the barkeep here is getting more than a little annoyed with us.
Do you have any idea how to deal with tiny, invisible dragons?"
