Darius blows a little on his hand to try and cool it a little. "Okay that was a bit hot to the touch. Ow. Is everyone okay?" he asks checking everyone out before looking more thoroughly around the room.

Brother Varsk leads the way to S14 using detect evil to scan the area as he goes.
Note he will stop and anaounce if he sees another area he sees that looks like a haunt.

Grergof opens the door. Several moldy cots lay strewn around this room, while doors to smaller, more private sleeping cells hang askew to the west. Judging from the rest of this room’s decor, this must have once been the prison’s infirmary.
In the center of the room lurks an invisible evil.

There is another haunt in the center of the room. Given this looks like an infirmary, it will most likely attack whoever enters with disease.
Do you want me to go in first? Although I do not have any holy powers that can harm these ghosts.

I completely forgot that lay on hands can damage undead. Time for Grergof to learn about his new power.
You know what Mr. Spugnoir, you are right. If I have faith enough, Sarenrae will show me the way. I simply need to trust.

Grergof looks around the room, including looking into the sleeping rooms and slowly getting closer to the thing in the middle but never entering the area the thing shows up in.

"Brother Grergof, wait. Maybe Spugnoir is right. Help me with this." Darius moves over to one of the cots and attempts to lift it. "Help me lift it. We can carry it and use it as cover as we approach and the rest of you can cover us."

As Grergof looks through the items, the others stand at the door and Darius steps into the room a greasly looking creature becomes visible in the middle of the room.
Like a ghostly skeleton wearing a tattered robe with glowing eyes. The sight is horrible.

Hailiss jumps in surprise, but recovers, intoning a chant and pointing, firing a missile of force towards the apparition.

Darius comments as he looks at the creature curiously as his hand begins to glow slightly with the energy given to him by Iomedae which the then moves to and tries to burn through the creature with holy power.

Suddenly all the medical equipment in the room rises into the air and starts swirling around the poltergeist. Three of the objects leave their trajectory any fly towards Spugnoir, Darius and Hailiss.

With that he drops one end of the cot and hurries back to the other room.
There shaking he drops to his knees and starts praying.

Hailiss' blade goes straight through the poltergeist but it rips away a part of it. After that the creepy form fades into invisibility again.

Darius winces as bone sawflies past and nicks him in the shoulder. "Dammit! Argh! Where is that cursed thing?!" Darius crouches, hand softly aglow waiting for the first sign of the poltergeist to show.
Ready action for first sign of the poltergeist to materialize then he'll attack again with the CLW.

He quickly stands and strides back into the room with the poltergiest.
He continues to detect evil.
If that snaps back and tells me where the ghost is again he will immediately attack using Lay on Hands.

"Oh to the nine hells with this!" Darius says and stands upright and holds out both arms, one still grasping his sword as a light pulses through the air that ripples out from him in every direction.

Grergof jumps forth to deliver more holy energy but can't even tell if he managed to connect as the poltergeist can't be felt.
