Brother Grergof Varsk |

Let's gather all these items, and head back to check this last couple doors on this side of the floor.
As he moves to lead the group back to the doors Grergof stops to check the position of the sun. If he is getting anywhere near dark he does not to stay near the prison.

Brother Grergof Varsk |

Looking down at the Mess of Holy Symbols Grergof says:
You know these may have been trophies and not murder weapons. This Sefick may have claimed a symbol from each of his victims. Maybe this is the evidence they used to convict him.

Brother Grergof Varsk |

Possibly, but everyone here was under a death sentence. That would have been a very nasty con man.

GM Foxy |
A short trip through the foyer and back to the floor with the many doors reveals a flight of stairs leading downwards that is now filled with a mess of large stone blocks and shattered timbers, a flight of stairs leading upwards, and a small chamber containing some brooms, a bucket and a rotten cloth.
triggered deadfall that swiftly filled the stairs and blocked them off.
The two western doors stay unexplored for now.

Darius Redgrave |

Perception: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (14) + 6 = 20
Darius looks quizzically at the rubble on the stairwell. "Now that is peculiar. This is a sure sign of foul play." He motions towards some broken contraption that seems to have been partially hidden but is now crushed from the rubble. "See here, this looks to be some sort of trigger mechanism which set off this rubble to block off this stairwell. Which in turn trapped the prisoners in here. I'd be speculating but someone wanted to make sure that everyone, or perhas someone specific died here in the fire."

Brother Grergof Varsk |

Perhaps it was the guards to keep the prisoners in if they really lost control of the lower level.
What do you all think should we continue on to the west side of the floor or head back now?
I am more then willing to continue exploring.

Jominda Fallenbridge __ |

"This is all so exciting!" Jominda states always staying in the second row and looking past the others when there is something new to see.
It would be nice to know who took which item or if simply Grergof bagged them all.

Brother Grergof Varsk |

I am more then happy to carry all the items. That said if anyone else wants any item he is going to pass them along without protest. He is just hauling them for future party research and has no idea the axe is magic.

Spugnoir2 |

Let us try the safe in the office again before leaving Spugnoir will get his new tools out and attempt the safe again.+2 Ranks +4 Stat from Mutagen,+3 Class +2 Tools Take 20=31

GM Foxy |
The lock of the safe can't withstand Spugnoirs improved skill with his new tools. It still takes some time but finally there is the 'click' as all parts are pushed into place and turning the fake key unlocks it.
(everything is labeled)

Brother Grergof Varsk |

Brother Varsk will open his backpack and offer to carry the contents of the safe.
I may need to get a bigger backpack if we keep finding interesting things. He laughs as he loads in the legal documents.
Speak up if anyone wants anything right now or else I'll pack everything back to the Lorrimor house and we can decide what to do with it there.

Darius Redgrave |

"We can tally up a list of everything back at the house. Let's see what else we can find shall we? Jominda I'm loving the enthusiasm." Darius chuckles.

GM Foxy |
You enter a corridor. Taking a step forward and looking around it seems that this corridor that leads straight on as well as to the right is a circular one passing all the rooms in this wing.
Close to where you stand is a door. Lying on the floor. The door to this room has fallen from its hinges. The rectangular chamber beyond seems to have once been a chapel, but now thick sheets of what appear to be cobwebs drape everything within in gossamer threads.

The room the spiders came from is now free from webs but full of smoke. Looking around reveals a cabinet in the wall.

Brother Grergof Varsk |

Is everyone ok?
As he asks he looks around the web room to see if he can tell anything about the use of the room.
I'm guessing from the map/cabinet this was a chapel. He would want to know that as well as who was worshiped there if anything remains to tell him.
Assuming everyone is OK:
As we are here, should we continue to explore the door across the hall?
He nods at the door to S7.

Foxy Quickpaw |

The part with the chapel was given already in the first post about the room. That it was dedicated to Pharasma one would have to guess as no features are described
This chamber (S7) is in a shambles — old wooden benches lie in ruins along the walls, while rusty chains and bits of rotten rope lie scattered on the floor.
The group moves inside to take a closer look.
