Another spray of blood covers the stairs leading down to the warehouse, and the last remaining physician flinches as blood sprays across their mask.
Nicolai moves down the stairs to join the others and, having served it's purpose, dismisses the Grease spell.
Jolon descends and whacks at the Physician with his sword.
The physician lets out a grunt, but no other sound as Jolon's sword does its work.
Aloysia plunges both daggers down into the physician's heart
Gamon stares coldly down at the last physician, before bringing his axe down with a thud.
The last physician expires on the stairs. You've managed to buy yourselves some more time.
"Lead the way, Aloysia. We need to find out what's going on in that basement."
Aloysia nods, crouches low, and starts heading down the stairs to the ground floor and peeks through the doorway
Nicolai watches as his companion's dispatch the remaining Physicians with ruthless efficiency. As Aloysia peers through the door he mentions the notes they found upstairs "One of the notes mentioned someone named "A" and an entire cult of Urgthoa worshipers below, There must be a sublevel or more beneath this building. Aloysia, did you in your recon of the building find a way to access these areas?"
Aloysia shakes her head while continuing to peer through the doorway searching for threats and whispers, "None, that would be easy access. I imagine it's through the underground."
From Aloysia's perspective it looks as though the entire warehouse has been abandoned, but her keen ears pick up the sound of armor scraping nearby the door to the west.
Jolon waits for Aloysia's assessment. He trusts her judgment.
Aloysia silently signals the others to start coming down, but presses a finger to her lips to indicate doing it quietly. She points at Gamon followed by pointing at the opposite corner from her next to the door for another surprise attack.
Gamon moves into position, axe at the ready.
Jolon joins Gamon at that position, sword readied.
Nicolai pulls a wand from his sleeve and points it at Gamon. "Augifico" he intones as the fighter begins to grow in size.
Aloysia keeps her stealthy position and readies to unload on the first enemy that steps into the doorway
Jolon's eyes widen as Nicolai suddenly towers over him, but he says nothing.
Nicolai uses his wand one more time, this time enlarging Jolon, before slipping back up his sleeve.
Dont forget that being enlarged gives you a 10' reach.
The Gray Maiden points at Aloysia with her sword, "Get her." The physicians sign at each other briefly before moving to surround Aloysia. One even manages to get a swing in while getting into position.
Having faced these tactics before Aloysia is able to easily see where the swing is coming from and gently deflect the club with her daggers.
The nurse that was behind the desk swaggers over, rapier out and pointed loosely in Aloysia's direction. "Tell your friends to come out if and drop their weapons if they want you to live."
Towering over their foes, Gamon stalks out of the stairwell, quickly sizing up the nearest physician that has attempted to flank Aloysia and returning the favor with a brutal sneak attack of his own.
Gamon's first swing is all that it takes to cut the physician in half, leaving a bloody mess over the table and chairs in the area.
The Maiden standing before the door shifts herself slightly, bringing her shield into a more defensive posture, but otherwise doing nothing.

Jolon strides down and joins the fight, striking at one of the assailants!

Aloysia tries to cartwheel between the two foes...
Aloysia easily slips between the 'secretary' and the 'physician', still a little shaken from the bloody end to their comrade.
Aloysia uses the momentum of her cartwheel between the two to carry her dagger down towards the apex of his right lung
The secretary goes down in a spray of blood as Aloysia's dagger cuts through her defenses.
Nicolai watches Aloysia's lethal grace with admiration as she dispatches another foe. He waits for Gamon and Jolon to finish the others before he steps out of the stairway.
The physician starts its attack on Aloysia, clearly worried about its safety.
Some blood appears to be on the lenses of its mask and its swings are predictable and unsure.
Aloysia leaves her combat posture before the physician swings, standing tall, watches the club bypass her without flinching, and stares straight at the physician's eyes...and grins with wicked delight
