I know some of you leveled up so make sure your header/profile are updated and/or post what level you are so I can figure out subtier. We also have a fifth joining us so that may adjust things, although with five players and an APL of 5 we would still be in the 3-4 tier.

I just realized I had the wrong patron deity in my profile! A remnant of his former self prior to lvl 1 rebuild. Whoops! Fixed it now. Apologies for my inaccuracy.

Alie is updated for 6th level now. Added Haste and switched out Invisibility for Create Pit.

6 + 4 + 5 + 5 + 6 = 26/5 = 5.2 inbetween the 3-4 and 6-7 subtiers.

With five players we play down so we are in the 3-4 subtier for this one.

page 31 of the Guide wrote:
For scenarios written in Seasons 0 to 3, when the APL is in between subtiers, a party of six or seven characters must play the higher subtier. Parties with four or five characters must play the lower subtier. In the fringe case where there are no players that are high enough to have reached the subtier level (such as a party of six 3rd level characters), the group may decide to play down to the lower subtier.

Kilian should be updated. I took Combat Reflexes instead of Weapon Specialization; with PA he already does 2d4+10, so I figured more possible attacks were worth +2 damage at this point.

Yeah, I think that's a good call with your good Dex, Killian. A couple AoOs could really come in handy.

Any suggestions on how to spend some coin? I have a little over 4k right now. I'm considering the following:

1) Belt of Giant Strength - +to hit and damage, obviously valuable

2) +1 Adamantine Longsword - replace the "Normal" +1 weapon that I can later enchant to +3 to overcome most DR

3) Upgrade cloak of resistance to +2 - keep up those saves!

4) Enchant my cold iron longsword instead of going with adamantine

5) Upgrade armor OR shield to a +2

I'm thinking belt or adamantine longsword. You can always carry around a spare cold iron longsword for rare occasions, but investing in one doesn't seem worth the effort to me. And at this point a +1 more to saves or AC doesn't seem as useful as a +1 to hit and damage.

I think I'd go with the belt, myself.

I'd go with the belt as well. Had the same question for my lvl 11 ranger in another game. 35k and nothing to spend it on, hahaha.
