Yeah - I wish it was easier, but I’ve been burned by opening it up to randos. I’m curmudgeonly by nature, which doesn’t make it any easier. Plus a lot of people have different expectations about what the PbP will be that it’s hard to find a good fit.

I think we just run stripped down by either (1) you reduce the number of foes or their hit points [or both! :)] OR (2) we Gestalt and become better versions of our current selves and leave the mod as is.
It will allow us to move faster with fewer players.
Most games I run on the boards are by invite only or I'll Recruit for 1 spot only....
Looking back Treppa hasn't posted as Norveg since June of 2024, that's a year and a half! Sometimes, people just lose interest, no matter how good a game is, life happens

I'm reviewing and will hop back in. I think with Patrick posting the update information in Discord, that'll help me keep on track.
And holy cow, we're right in the middle of combat.
Yeah Discord has actually been quite a lifesaver for my PbPs. Organizationally, and communicatively. I wish I’d utilized more earlier.

BUT, with all going on lately,...

,.. suffice to say, between my father-in-law's failing health, my sister-in-law being a royal jerk to her sister (my wife), my mother having onset of sudden health issues, etc etc etc,
I scheduled a week for myself, my wife, and even my hermit-hide-in-his-room son at Universal in Orlando. Because to me, THAT is a vacation.
(My daughter will also be in Orlando, at Disney with her boyfriend's family.) :D
And of course AFTER I booked it, my mother fell again, and ended up in the hospital, and now a therapeutic rehabilitation center so she can get her strength back and walk again.

SO I will probably be running up to see her before the new year as well.
THAT will end up taking the rest of my 2 week break.
And of course I have to be back to work early, on Jan 2, to load in a rental, because of course I do.
So I do NOT plan on having any time, to access the interwebs for almost 2 weeks straight, I will try to check in one more time on Sat before I leave Sunday, but I still have to visit father in law, (2 hours away, so a 4-hour trip just for that) pack, etc.

Clarification needed - I see an attack roll with a vicious hit on Tragon, but also the spider was stunned and couldn’t act. Was there an attack?
You know, I read the stunned condition, and I literally did NOT see that a stunned creature cannot take any action. How I missed that, I have no clue. Kinda important. I mean, yes, that attack didn't happen. Also, we might as well just wrap this combat up because if you can't kill this thing in 3 rounds ....

I mean, It takes me at least three rounds to kill a normal size cockroach.
(Because the lil buggers run at the size equivalent of 200+ MPH!)

Also, IRL, I'm not sure the stunned condition applies to pests like it does 'normal' creatures. Like mammals. :P
(If I had a nickel for every time I had a 'dead' bug wake up while I was dumping it in the trash can, I'd have a LOT of nickels!)
