I've invited a few people from some earlier games (my Mission Blitz groups) to post here if interested first. If we don't fill all six slots, then I will open it up to everyone - so please only those I've invited for now.
We will be playing PFS - scenario or module TBD.
Scenarios I own: Silent Tide; The God's Market Gamble
A scenario would take about 4-6 weeks at a "normal" pace.
I'd be willing to run either of them, but I'd actually be more likely to buy a new one for this group.
Also suggested: run a module - probably The Godsmouth Heresy.
It's a dungeon with almost 60 rooms. We'd probably be playing this for the rest of the year, but you'd get a full PFS level (3 XP).
So far I have one vote for "just about anything" and one vote for Godsmouth Heresy. Any other thoughts?

Hey, Mal. The rule is you can change anything you want before leveling, meaning before you play your character at level 2. You'd be level 1 throughout this entire mod, so it would work.
I had an even bolder plan, but I'd need potentially greater commitment.
I really want to both run and play The Dragon's Demand. After reading John Compton's blog post about how it will work for Society play, I would prefer to run it in module mode.
It would be well-suited for a level 2 start.
So here's my third proposal: we play two regular scenarios to get everyone to level 2. We then play the first two modules of dragon's demand (getting to level 4). We'd then probably need to run three scenarios to get to level 5, then finish the third moduel of DD. Anyone could drop out after a gvien section if they wanted to, and we could alyways recruit new players if needed. What do you guys think?

I would like to be in.
Godsmouth Heresy does sound interesting. And finishing it with a level gain is a nice thing (although playing 2 more scenarios would do the same thing).
Then again, if you want to run something else new, I'm game for that too.
Since I haven't played any of the PFS series, it's all new to me.
But either way, Gunther is up for adventure.
Edit: Dragon's Demand concept sounds good too. So many choices.

Since I have no real PFS in my area, anything and everything sound good to me. You know how much I can post, so keeping up is not a problem. Depending on how the other group with Mez goes, and who we get signing up here, I could always bring Mez in if we need some healing/skill back up instead of stright pew pew.
You could ask Norine-p if he wants to join us since it looks like a few people have dropped. He was looking for other games to join with a second character...

            Hi Derek,
Hey Mez/Malfeas! Thanks for thinking of me (Norine). Derek just invited me, assuming there is room.
I would be up for anything, and I have good posting volume/commitment as you know.
All I have is three first-level characters made up (so far): Norine (Gnome Cleric), with one scenario under her belt, but who may be going on Alice's adventure; Garedon (Elf Universalist Wizard), and Naurin (Human Oracle of Life (Dual Cursed Lame/Legalistic) - a play on Norine the Cleric). But, I could create something to fill a gap - the reason I've been doing clerics.
Thanks,
Matt

Well, assuming Walter finds his way here, we currently have a melee inquisitor, a ranger that is better in melee, and the zen archer. An arcane person, or buff/debuff support would be very welcome.
I could also remake Malfeas into a Witch, that would give us 2 people who could heal and some arcane gigerypokery at the same time.
Keep in mind, I've got quite a few character ideas, so I'm not too attached to playing one character or concept... Except Mez, he is my namesake afterall

            Hey guys,
I had a few things come to mind, so let me know what you think:
My plan for now - Run two PFS scenarios: The God's Market Gamble and The Night March of Kalkamedes.
Once we hit APL 2, we would tackle a module (probably part 1 of Dragon's Demand). This would give me time for my Amazon order to arrive and for me to really study the module/prep maps, etc.
Walter and Johann sounded interested in joining, so I'll wait to hear from them. And yes, having an arcane caster couldn't hurt.
Zoog, sometime earlier you mentioned you had a friend who might like to play. Do you think he's still interested? My brother-in-law might also be game. We might be able to fill out the party rather nicely this way.

Maybe if we all posted during your lunch hour and during that evening time slot, we could get more in. ;-)
How are we for skills? I'm thinking about bringing in Norine, who is a good healer but who isn't very skill oriented, to say the least.
PS - I just emailed my friend to see if he might be interested in a rogue skill monkey.

Hello! I am certainly interested in any PFS scenario.
As GM Derek is aware, I am still new to PbP, but I am learning quickly (that's my story GM) and I would like to continue with Walter. I really like this character.
I work 9am-6pm Eastern, but GM knows I try to post a lot.
Anything I should know please inform me. Thx and I am looking forward to gaming with you!

So we have an Inquisitor, Alchemist, and Ranger
Furtive can bring Cleric/Oracle or Wizard
I can bring another Inquisitor or ZA
Nothing is super needed, especially since Inquisitor and Alchemist kinda fill 2 needs.
I am hesitant about Norine/Mez making the transfer, we'd kinda leave the other group in the cold, but will do it if no one steps up to GM one for them.

Yeah, Johann, I am going to scan and e-mail your group's chronicles in the AM - sorry for the delay!
JL78, I think we have room for one more player. All the players currently are level 1, most have just finished one scenario.
Are you familiar with the Pathfinder Society Guide to Organized Play? Just make sure your character fits those guidelines - two big ones are a 20-point stat buy and 150 starting GP, for example.

            Our current group includes:
Malfeas Rayne - Monk (Zen Archer)
Walter Vizard - Inquisitor
Gunther Judsson - Ranger
Johann Erlenmeyer - Alchemist
Naurin Phren - Oracle
Our inquisitor and ranger are built to handle front-line duties respectably, and we have healing thanks to Naurin. Our alchemist is a bomb-tosser and we have the Zen archer, so ranged attacks are well covered. It looks like we could use an arcane caster, or a pure skill monkey (though the Inquisitor and Ranger get decent skill points). Really, you ought to be able to play what you like. At level 1, for better or worse, arcane caster is one type you can usually do without. They get dang handy past level 5, though.
I'd be happy to look over your character sheet. Just go ahead and create it one on this site, and post back here as the character.

Hi Ratchet! Thanks for checking in. We might be able to get you in here, but I also have another group Matt's in - we'll be starting a new game by tomorrow as well. If we don't get all six there it will be easier to fit you in on that side. Either way, we can go up to seven players so I should be able to find a home for you in the next couple of days.
