Just out of curiosity, are you guys sticking to one class, or is anybody multiclassing later on?

GM Chyro |

You can change your character's setup between scenarios, as long as you have not yet reached lvl 2.

This character will be one class, however this one will be multi-classed.
I'm thinking of making a Eldrich Knight character at some point. Fastest way by just adding 1 fighter level.
James Darkwing I was going to multiclass into Warprist. Gaining the bonus damage to his kukris and gaining the twf feats through ranger. It'll be a weird cross-class but I quite like the idea of it.
The Eldrich Knight I was thinking of a arcane school focus in counterspelling so he's gain some awesome abilities that mess up spellcasters whilst at the same being a spell caster and mellee combatant.

GM Chyro |

I know, it happens at the most inconvenient of times.
That aside, we could close this one by the end of the week or earlier, provided the rolls are favorable. You're at the doorstep (literally) of the last fight in the scenario.

I think Toorin will be most effective as a straight class Wizard. Once he has a chance to improve his range of spells and can do more spells per day and higher level spells, he will be that much more effective with his magic. The only way to get the last 2 are with levels, although he could expand his spell book.
What are the rules for adding spells to a spellbook between sessions? Is it standard cost for buying spells?

GM Chyro |

When you are still lvl 1 between scenarios, you can change your setup, like spells, class/race etc.
On other spells the PFS FAQ say the following:
Can I scribe spells from another PC's spellbook into my own? What about gaining spells via scrolls found during an adventure?
Players are welcome to exchange spells with each other during an adventure. They must still follow all the normal rules as put forth in the Core Rulebook and their class descriptions (for instance, an alchemist can scribe from a wizard, but not vice-versa) and they must not bog the session down.
Similarly, scrolls found during an adventure can be used to add spells to spellbooks and similar class features (such as a witch's familiar), using the normal rules for doing so. Scrolls used in this way during an adventure do not need to be purchased, but are still consumed as normal.
With either method, the GM should sign off on the spells gained (after witnessing successful skill checks) on affected players' chronicle sheets. All other methods of gaining new spells (such as by gaining a level or purchasing access to an NPC's spellbook) function as described in the Core Rulebook and relevant class descriptions.
In the rare instance of a wizard charging a fee for the privilege of copying spells from their spellbooks, this fee is equal to half the cost to write the spell into a spellbook (see Writing a New Spell into a Spellbook). Rare and unique spells do not change the fee in PFS.

Mission completed.
Since Faction missions have been removed, there's primary & secondary condition in the scenarios, where the 2nd PP comes from.
2 XP & 1 PP
Primary condition: Verify (non)existance of portal [V]
Secondary condition: Slay Randalan & group or...take prisoners & set them free after making sure they never bother the Almsman ever again (such as via intimidate) [X]
I aim to get the chronicle sheets sent over the weekend.
Can you post the character's PFS data, make a dayjob roll if possible and post or PM me an email address i can send your chronicles to.
I'm keeping this thread for the rest of course.

PFS 133884-3
Profession, Acrobat: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (18) + 5 = 23 Wow. (if I can use this skill as a profesion. If not, I got Know Nature and Survival (same bonuses)
I enjoy playing Brallenara. ^^

GM Chyro |

Unfortunately, only with ranks in Craft [insert choice], Profession [insert choice] or Perform can you make extra income rolls.

GM Chyro |

Sorry :)
May i suggest putting a skill rank in profession and get Profession [junk disposer/demolisher].

GM Chyro |

Could you guys send me a mail address for the chronicles?
I have Kravg's and Ala'Ihys sent me his.

![]() |

Got my chronicle sheet, thankies!
I need to buy some new equipment before the mission.
Here's what I'd like:
Msw Scale Mail (50+150 Msw GP) 200 GP
2*CLW potions (50 GP each) 100 GP
Steel Shield 9 GP
Explorer outfit 10 GP
Total 319 /442 GP
Is that equipment available?

GM Chyro |

Brallenera, afaik everything in the CRB is available for purchase, add to that the items you find on your chronicles.

![]() |

ok.
So I still got 2 Gp (starting gold) +(442-319=123 GP) total 125 GP
Can I sell my studded leather armor and wooden shield for half price? (25+3/2=+14 GP)

PFS# 82068 - 14
Perform: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (20) + 6 = 26
Also I do apologise for not being as active as I could have been. I've been real busy with work and my one-to-one is coming up which I've been nervouse about as well as various family-related stuff too.

GM Chyro |

You vs boss talk huh? Like job interviews..i know the feeling.
Take care, good to have you back.

![]() |

I'll update Kravg tomorrow, a bit busy the last few days to make his purchases etc.
I'll buy us a wand of CLW at least for 2 prestige points if possible.

GM Chyro |

Sry, you need 2, but you gained just 1 prestige point last mission.

![]() |

I'll upgrade my kusarigama to a mwrk one and I've bought two additional potions of CLW, bringing my total to 80 gp again. Also finalised my Original plan of what to buy with my starting gold besides weapons, flasks and potions.

GM Chyro |

I'm running this for another group too, it's fun to see the difference in approach on things. They, for example, were much more polite before and after the tavern fight.
I foresee a large difference for act 2.
*Sits down in metal throne, smiling.*

GM Chyro |

Well, the paladin for starters just tapped one of the trio on the shoulder, asking if they could have a word with Fredrik. In general, he's rolled high on diplomacy checks.
They just questioned Fredrik in a less rough way, asked for directions and left for the rescue asap.

![]() |

After I punched out one of Fredrik attackers, I asked them if we could talk to the man, and I even said please:
Awww, may I have your attention please? We need to talk to this guy. I'll let you beat him more after, if you want.
I couldn't be more polite.

GM Chyro |

How did i miss that?
Regardless, they weren't susceptable to reason, they were stoned big time.

GM Chyro |

if the crowd gets unruly, Ala'Ihys will tell them "Stay back! I have and angry Dwarf and I know how to use it!"
Angry dwarves are not prone to sounding as usable objects, lest you promise a keg of ale as compensation. Which, luckily for you :), she seems to value.

GM Chyro |

Ala'Ihys, you can gather info from the crowd, who don't particularly have to be in front of the place.
1 front door & no visible backdoor = super secret hidden exit.
Which does end up somewhere in the streets, so someone will likely have seen him running off somewhere.

GM Chyro |

Btw, Ala'Ihys, was that 'i've got an angry dwarf and i'm not afraid to use it', by chance a reference to Shrek?

GM Chyro |

Which were the others? Since they passed me by unnoticed.

GM Chyro |

Kravg, when you're going to climb this, you can't climb and end movement into an occupied square though.
