1. Would we be able to switch out our feats at all, as long as they make sense and we still meet the prerequisites?
2. Is there a common or preferred language in the Haven yet? All I get is Draconic really and Flame drakes are pretty stupid.

Seconding Frist's question about feats, and double checking - if we have a scaling template do we use the appropriate level for our CR or the highest one? I took half-celestial as a +3 because that's the highest it gets, but Ardwellyn has it as a +1?

1) Feats remain for now, though retraining is an option.
2) Templates count as their max value for now, making half-celestial a +3.
3) Common and draconic are both ubiquitous.
You may RP getting the general point of the message if it is in these languages even if you don't actually have it as a language. Youall have been here long enough to pick up enough of these languages to get by, essentially.

And this is totally my fault for not making things more clear, Lungarfiliax is an Imperial Dragon of the Sovereign variety. The great wyrm green one at the scar at the moment is one of his high ranking commanders. He has several such in his service of various colors and holds each in the same sure, benevolent (or iron-clad as need) grip with which he holds you.

Apologies for Green vs Gold.
Let's say for the record that:

1) Mar hadn't interacted with any Imperial Dragons prior to the Cabal's takeover, and

2) let's (appropriately) bump his musings on Greens to when he arrives at the Scar and sees the big dragon overhead, thinking to himself about having interacted with them in forests in the past, and wondering exactly who this one is.

Overall, nothing particularly consequential.

A couple of questions...

Do I Spontaneously cast "Cure" spells as a Good Cleric? This will decide which spells I choose to prepare.

May I have the Holy Symbol Tattoo or "Birthmark" trait to cover the necessity for a divine focus? Even if I must sacrifice one of the (1 RP) starting traits.

Hey all, just so you've got a sense of who Mar, the Shadehorn is mechanically, I've sort of summarized him. (Backstory is in the alias.)

-Large-sized melee combatant w/ 10ft reach and a good number of attacks
-Immunity to a whole bunch of nice things, including negative energy & Str Drain
-Fly Speed 120' (average)
-Aura of 'Magic Circle Against Evil' (Stand near me for 'Protection from Evil')
-Wild Empathy (as Druid) +18, if we need to chat up any animals/beasts
-Some Limited Healing SLAs

Did the ballista crew move the ballista out of the space of the flaming sphere?
I am thinking an undead crew would not be organized enough to have "any means that would put out a normal fire of size" I could be wrong though...

haha, we have a lot of 'survival' and not a lot of spellcraft...

Yho Yho can cast Karmic Blessing on one of the more intelligent members of the gang. I don't know if that will give them a base +3 or not since we don't have ranks. In this case maybe you can consider it gives 1 rank in the skill + class skill bonus?

I'll post this early: If you grow tired of your character I'll allow you to request transfer to another service and create a new character. Just please try to switch every mission. It breaks the whole "special team of special snowflake monsters" thing.

You tempt me sir, as after creating this toon, I found a much more durable being! But I will see this mighty Yhohm's adventure to the end. The only thing i really wish is that the Cleric template gave skill ranks and class skills as a PC so I could round him out more for situations such as this. But Karmic Blessing will help offset this.

Sorry for the inconsistent posting everyone. It was my first week at uni this week and I go 4 days so I've been pretty overloaded with getting assessment schedules and study and traveling there and back.

Hey guys, I'm working my way back and should be able to resume normal posting rates in the next couple days (but I am back on the boards now). An 'annoying' (to say the least) incident last week with my contact lenses ended up scratching both corneas pretty badly, and I couldn't open either eye for about ~4 days.
