The massive Friar/Craven asks as he sees the 2 battlemages, half dozen men and a Thumper besides all take notice of him. And then he starts shrinking...
That cant be good! The Friar thinks as he feels all the mutagen goo flow away from him and into the ground below him.
Ohhhh... This. cant. be. good...
Surrounded by 2 Battle Mages, a half dozen warriors and a Thumper besides, the Friar is feeling very afraid. Afraid and small, why he feels so small and its almost like hes shrinking down to the size of a mouse!
o: Decrease your size by two size categories (+4 size bonus to Dexterity, -4 size penalty to Strength, appropriate size modifiers to AC, CMB, attack rolls, etc). This effect does not stack with other effects that decrease your size.
o: You gain a burrow speed of 30 feet.
Why in fact he did turn into a mouse! (an odd shaped one, he has 6 limbs and is exceedingly fat) and so he scurried away into the ground, burrowing straight into the dark depths.
Once inside the cool depths of the mud and dirt, he takes a moment to breathe and reflect. He had managed to at least distract some of the enemies (he didnt kill any, but eh.) but the catapults would still be firing away onto the heads of his "comrades," you know, those guys he never knew...
So after a quick breather, he starts to head of in the general direction of the catapults. If he was lucky those battle mages will have passed by by then.
You thought you had me Scared? HA! Well I will just scurry away like a terrified little mouse! That will teach YOU!
Lol, well anyways, I cast Metamorphosis as a move action to change into a mouse(ish) and gain a burrow speed. I then spend a move action to burrow into the ground to about 15ft(ish) and the rest westwards.
I also get fast healing 2.

not seeing what was going off with the artiliry she looks around at the state of thire attack, the fire was still raining down on the line. It looked to be stalling. The fire was a problem, They had yet to take out anything of enemys big weapons by the looks of it. They had to do this soon or the attack on their lines would brake through. There where few places someone like her could be excepted, the army had taken her in when the war had started. A crash couse at the Academy and here she was. Failing and buy the looks of it leading them all to thire deaths.

Wow.
Incredibly, all four men make their saves and get free of the orb's entanglement! One take a good knock over the head in his efforts to escape, but he seems to be ok with that. The man in front of Gigantos, however, definitely feels the pain. He grabs his head, starts bleeding from his nose, then passes out.
Celeste displays some truly superhuman agility and jumps clear of the trench to the other side to see... Nothing but the enemy... the Friar is gone!
Gigantos continues to burn! The flames have caught onto his clothes! Canaan tries to help, but he can only do so much on a body so huge.

Areth's shot is beautiful. The curve of the bullet defeats some of the cover and one of the battle mage's gets hit. Hard. He falls back while the other two advance on Celeste.
Speaking of Celeste, she finds herself in much the same predicament as the Friar (who is now fleeing like the rat he is... literally).
Four troopers immidiately rush her, but not before the Thudder levels his weapon in her direction.

That's not to say that the Mages are just standing there. They aren't. They wave their hands in arcane passes and magical protection envelops them.
The men on the front line are holding fast, though the recent electrical strike and the churning ball of water have forced them to retreat a few steps with a few major injuries.

To the best of my knowledge the 18 was to hit (tho it might be Touch AC), so it wouldnt pierce your AC. It might still Bull Rush you as it slams into your armor tho.

DESCRIPTION
Position is relative to the Veiled Moon disciple's thinking, and his position in the universe is mutable. Realizing that he is (for the very precious moment) safe from pursuit he starts to head over to where he last remembered the catapult to be (occasionally poking his head above ground to regain his bearings).
The Friar will continue to move towards the catapult crew while underground and attempt to get directly underneath one of the crewmen.
Edit: Apparently I can do it in one move, so I will do this with my standard instead.

Once the Friar is directly under one of the crewmen he will pop his head up and smack on of them on the foot with his staff.

Again, all your targets succeed in dodging the orb. The flame, however, catches one of the men off guard and burns him badly.
Yndra's shocks finally overcome the resistance of a group of the fighters, partially clearing the way for the fight to advance.
The craving downs one of his opponents, as does Celeste in a spectacularly brutal strike.
The friar arrives at one of the catapults to find it loaded! He attacks the nearest man and promptly breaks his foot!
Areth, for clarity, you didn't kill the first mage, he retreated behind total cover.
Then a rifle report rings out and another battle mage is wounded! He screams for the catapults to fire...

The barrels of fire arc high overhead and fall toward your friendly bunker, which is promptly engulfed in flame!

Celeste's nearly impenetrable defence keeps them at bay.
The mages move into very good cover at the edges of the trench, making them extremely hard to hit for the sniper.
The Thudder fires at Celeste and she seems to teleport before their very eyes! Move where you wish to be on the map.
The friar pops out of the ground, breaks a foot, and immediately has two men beating on his head!

Finally, the flames caressing the ettin's skin were extinguished. Jumping up with an earthy thud, the giant gave a triumphant roar from both heads before Janry downed a strange vial. Immediately, his muscles bulges to an obscene degree, his skin thickened, and both Janry and Orvay gave a cruel grin.
Move action to stand up, standard to take my mutagen. +4 Str, +2 natural armor, -2 Int. Lasts for 60 minutes. AC is at 22, Str is at 27.

"Wahhahahahaha!" screams Craven, in exultation and with goblin-voice. He runs past enemy soldiers up to between Janry and Ovray's smoking legs, and executes a front flip as a large bolt of lightning streaks out, blasting the nearest catapult and every soldier in-between.

Celeste unnaturally fast movement keeps her out of harms way as she fights her own savage nature and tries to concentrate on eliminating the crew guarding the first thumper. She strikes at the top guard, her blow cleaving easily through his armor as if it didn't even exist. The other guard looks on as he too is somehow effected by the same brutal slice.

The friar squeals like a tiny little rat when he gets electracuted by the Battlemage so he discharges his last hammershock into the crewman he had just injured and heads back underground.

Oh you lucky ducks.
Within seconds of each other the Craving and Ynja both level elemental attacks at the Alchemist's fire stored at the catapults. At first nothing happens, then there is a trio of earth-shaking explosions and three fireballs leap into the drizzling sky along with pieces of men and the sound of panicked screaming... and Celeste is right in the middle of it...
celeste takes: 20d6 + 2d6 ⇒ (1, 1, 3, 1, 5, 2, 4, 2, 3, 2, 6, 3, 5, 1, 1, 5, 2, 1, 2, 2) + (1, 5) = 58 and is flung by the force of the explosion into the near trench wall like a rag doll. Everyone within 30 feet save the Thumper is knocked to the ground and staggered for one round
The mages regain their feet slowly as do the other soldiers, but noone near that blast has recovered enough to start swinging again quite yet. Even the thumper is busy trying to get his bearings again.
Youall came This close to your first casualty. Just go ahead and imagine that one on a roll of 20. Go for it. :P

Inside the fog back the blast wave and heat pass over Ynja. Scream and bits of flesh rained down. She was still standing and took a moment to gain her bearings.

Akumu walks foward, north west of Cannan. He gestures and a burst of radiance engulfs the 2 battle mages and the thumper.

To Ynja's mind Janry and Orvay and do nothing to help the attack and needed to start showing they where of use. The fat halfling had run off the moment they started the attack and was no ware to be seen.
Akumu, Celeste, Canaana, Craven herself and Areth seemed to be the only ones in this fight. Well by the looks of those smoke colloms they had hit something big.
