All out of character discussions should go here.

Please make sure your character was created using standard creation rules, and you created the character as a Standard Campaign (and NOT Core) character. I've converted some PCs from Core to Standard by accident.

Just wondering if I can use my level one pc Jajee instead of Benji, Benji kinda fell by the wayside and needs some touching up. If that's okay, would looove to join.
Thanks again,

So looking over the current party and possible party members (everyone excluding the brawler who isn't posted anywhere yet) I see that the median Charisma is 7. With my shut-in dilettante, historian, occultist, author, and ghostwriter of weird fiction, and very often--cheap pornography--being the the most charismatic person in the party--he has a 10!

Humbert is the only guy I have that played part 1 or A or whatever it is called, but it really isn't his bag baby. I have other characters I could bring but I'm not sure that they fit with the current party mix (as far as the party's overall skills and abilities).

I could bring my huge, angry, bikergang-like Ulfen pirate (Highlight include: Water wizard school, greataxe, Power Attack, Charisma 7, Intimidate +8, lot's knowledges) and then we could name our group the Unlikables, or the Wallflowers or the Creeps! ;) But we might need someone who isn't so aggressive in their diplomacy.

Agirran is amenable to going earlier in the marching order if the enthusiastic 170 year-old kid, and the shaggy Shoanti don't object. He doesn't have the AC and occasionally does cast things, though most are self-targeting spells, evocations. He is however DAMN HEALTHY!

Why hello there, Pathfinders! I'm Dana the Doppelgänger, and I'm here to "Bot" anyone who is absent for more than 24 hours. I'll post in your name so the game doesn't grind to a halt. No one likes that!

If you know you'll be absent for a while, please leave a post indicating you'll be gone so I know to step in immediately. Also leave some instructions telling me how you want to be botted. Here's an example you can adjust and put in your profile.

Bot Me!:

About Aid Tokens:

Once per encounter, any character at a table can use an Aid Token to assist the group in one of the ways described below. Once a table uses an Aid Token, one of the players then passes the Aid Token to a neighboring table for them to use. A table can only benefit from one token per encounter. Because there are a limited number of Aid Tokens; hoarding one means that somebody else doesn’t get to use it.

If a table receives an Aid Token and doesn’t need its benefits, they’re encouraged to boost its potency by expending some of their own resources or attempting a skill check. Boosting an Aid Token, including attempting a skill check, is part of passing that Aid Token to another table. A table can neither retry such a skill check nor boost an Aid Token more than once before passing it to another table. A table may boost a token even while in combat without taking any in-round actions; the scenario assumes the aid was granted before that encounter began. Players should be encouraged to write their PC name down next to the boosted effect along with any other relevant information. Using a boosted effect consumes the boost; the player should erase the boost information from the Aid Token.

Some Aid Token benefits may be used only if already boosted by another table. An Aid Token’s benefits vary based on the table’s subtier, and these benefits can take one of the following forms.

Allied Offensive:
A Pathfinder agent strikes a creature at the same time as the PC, increasing the damage dealt by one attack by 2d8 points. In addition, after the attack, anyone attacking the target is considered to be flanking it until the beginning of the attacker’s next turn.
To Boost: Succeed at an attack roll against an AC equal to an Average skill check. Boosted Effect: +1d8 points of damage.

Burst of Healing:
A Pathfinder agent heals all of the PCs of 3d6 points of damage.
To Boost: Expend one use of channel positive energy or cast one spell with the healing descriptor with a spell level greater than or equal to your APL/2, rounded down. A PC must cast this spell, not simply activate a wand or scroll. Boosted Effect: +2d6 points of damage healed.

Timely Inspiration:
A Pathfinder agent provides the effects of a bard’s inspire courage bardic performance +2 for 3 rounds.
To Boost: Expend 3 rounds of bardic performance or similar ability. Boosted Effect: Increase the competence bonus by 1.

Provide Knowledge (Must Be boosted):
Gain the benefits of a Knowledge skill check or Spellcraft skill check used to identify a magical item; the type and difficulty (Easy, Average or Hard) depend on the table granting the benefit.
To Boost: Succeed at a Knowledge check of your choice, the result of the check (Easy, Average or Hard) should be noted on the Aid Token.

Provide Spellcasting (Must Be Boosted):
Gain the benefits of a beneficial spell cast by an ally as listed on the Aid Token.
To Boost: Cast one of the following spells and note your PC’s name and caster level on the Aid Token: lesser restoration, neutralize poison, remove curse, or remove disease. Only these spells may be granted. Expending resources that produce the effects of these spells, such as a paladin’s mercy class feature, may also grant these benefits.

Technically, since the event hasn't started, we can't hand it off, so I would wait. Which would we boost though? I can do Inspiration, as everyone likes that, and I'll have 6 of it left for a day for 18 total rounds of inspiration. More so if we manage to get a night's rest in the scenario.

Just a personal PC question incase the GM or anyone else knows.. Are you able to still use your shield to bash at close range with shield brace? Shield brace feat allows me to use a polearm two handed and use a shield. But doesn't say if said shield can still be used to bash with?

With as to how I read the feat, I would say so, as the shield may still impose ACP. Looks like a fun phalanx style of set up for an offensive defense.

The Exchange

Male LN Human (Shoanti) Fighter 1 | HP: 7/13 | AC: 22 (Touch: 12, Flat: 19) | CMB: +6; CMD: 18 | F+4, R+2, W+1 | Init: +2 | Perc +4, SM +0 | Speed: 20ft.

What concerns me is the notion that a "Free hand" may not exist with which to bash with shield, as both are currently two handing the Bardiche. Nothing I can find really clarifies. Until further notice, I'll swap the shield spikes for armor spikes. Same damage except armor spikes aren't usable with power attack :(
