Sorry for the delay. Been crazy sick all weekend. Still sick actually, but at least I'm not sleeping 15 hours today.

Ten seconds after you best the golem, a voice rings out in the courtyard in front of the mausoleum. Through the door, you can see a man dressed in bone armor and wielding a giant pick. He looks familiar, though his hair is white and short.

Intelligence DC 15:
He resembles the man you killed in Among the Living at the opera house. He was the leader of the group who ambushed you.

“So at last it comes to this. Did you fools actually think it would be that easy? Found the great Azlanti scepter, have you? Found a good use for it yet? Witless pawns! You have interfered with Zyphus’s plans for the last time! Since you refuse to die an ignoble and forgettable death, it appears I must do the honors myself! No matter, I will send your heads back to the lodge in Oppara as a message: those that meddle in our affairs will pay the price!” monologues the man, spitting on the ground as he finishes.

Hustavan is bound and gagged on the edge of the pool next to the man and two undead guard their master.

Why did you roll a Fortitude Save? Stabilization is a Con Check.

Good question, but he does not need to make the stabilization until his next turn. Then Shu healed him which makes it a mote point anyway.

Dying:
A dying creature is unconscious and near death. Creatures that have negative hit points and have not stabilized are dying. A dying creature can take no actions. On the character's next turn, after being reduced to negative hit points (but not dead), and on all subsequent turns, the character must make a DC 10 Constitution check to become stable. The character takes a penalty on this roll equal to his negative hit point total. A character that is stable does not need to make this check. A natural 20 on this check is an automatic success. If the character fails this check, he loses 1 hit point. If a dying creature has an amount of negative hit points equal to its Constitution score, it dies.
