Well that was almost as annoying as the last fight. Dragorin groans as he pulls himself up.

My header bar is always up to date, I change it when raging, etc. It's tricky to do it because there are four possible "states": not raging/no Ka stone, raging/no Ka stone, not raging/Ka stone, raging and Ka stone. Both of these states modify AC, CMD, saves, so it's too complex to have all the values in one header bar. That's why I have all four header bars ready in my character sheet (in the first spoiler, called "Macros"), and when I'm switching to another state I just copy/paste and update Hp. That being said, I find far easier not to keep track of HP myself when I'm GMing, it's way too much of a hassle and never do it while GMing a tabletop game anway.

If you want, I can make an OOC comment in the post where I'm using Rage/Ka stone to tell you what's my new HP. How does it sound?

"Thanks, Dragorin. Just a tap or two from this wand, please." groans the oread.
CLW: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7

Header bar changed to normal. Now at 78/78.

@Basalte: Awesome. If you keep the header bar updated, then I will make sure to look at it. I'm just used to everyone not updating it from most of my early GMed scenarios, which prompted me to post the Status blocks at the bottom of each post. Had too many people who would never change their headers, so I would never know if they were super low or if they were full health. Makes it a hassle when you don't want to decimate someone and spread attacks around after someone falls unconscious.

The tunnel ends at a sudden drop off. A wide shaft opens up in the earth and descends into darkness below. Opposite the entry tunnel are other irregular ledges. The walls of the shaft and ledges are of the same white crystalline substance as elsewhere.

The shaft descends 20 feet and then pierces the cavern that opens as a vast cyst below. The shaft rises 60 feet to its own roof above. It is a 150-foot drop from the tunnel ledge to the floor the new area.

A dead creature lays slain on the ledge nearest to you. It's body is marred with giant gashes and burn marks, likely caused by the axe you found on the half-fiend gargoyle. Bypassing the optional encounter of 8 creatures with health under 25.

Knowledge(Dungeoneering) DC 12:
This man-sized, crab-like monstrosity clings tenaciously to the rough stone, its enormous pincers held out menacingly before it.

The cave fisher is a highly specialized predator that dwells in caves. The creature's mode of hunting is unique—it clambers up a cave wall to settle on a ledge or in a crack, typically at a height of at least 30 feet. Ledges overlooking bridges and lower ledges overlooking chasms are favored hunting grounds for the cave fisher. The creature lies in wait until prey approaches within 60 feet, at which point it extrudes a thin cord of silk at blinding speed, lashing at the target as with a whip. The filament is incredibly sticky, and once the fisher strikes food with it, it reels in its meal to feed, trusting its position on a higher ledge to prevent any allies the meal may have from molesting it as it eats. Collections of bones and lengths of discarded filaments are sure signs of cave fisher habitation.

A cave fisher produces its filament from glands in its body; when it reels in a victim, it generally eats the filament along with its meal. It's impossible to harvest new filaments from a dead cave fisher, but filaments harvested from living ones are incredibly light and strong, functioning as silk rope once the sticky adhesive on a length decomposes (which generally takes 3d6 minutes). A cave fisher's filament glands are useful in constructing sovereign glue and similar sticky magical items. A single cave fisher's glands count as 100 gp worth of raw materials, offsetting the total cost of the item's final creation.

How are you getting to the bottom of the shaft? It seems to be the only way to go and climbing won't work. Jump off? ;-)

Flinders will T10 for his Acro. for 21. Forgot.

The group swiftly climbs/falls down the chasm into a lower expanse of salt rock. This massive chamber is of the same smooth white rock as seen previously, its walls, floor, and roof molded into flowing curves and fantastical shapes. The crystalline structure within the rock catches light sources and reflects them back a hundredfold. Revealed in this illumination at the far end of the massive cavern is a jagged scar of darkness—a rift in the cavern wall and ceiling sealed by a tumble of dark rock. At the base of this collapsed area can be seen toppled walls and broken columns.

The cavern here is split by many small fissures that lead deeper into the Darklands. The cavern itself is littered with the debris of decades of habitation by the bats that hang above and the occasional wanderer from the Darklands but is currently uninhabited beyond the ruins of the fortress itself. Eventually the Pathfinders’ explorations should lead them to the ruined structure at the cavern’s far end.

At first these broken ruins appear to be little more than a pile of rubble tumbled down from above. However, on closer examination an opening is visible on one side of it, and many of the walls within the ruin still appear to be intact.

I could play this out on the map, however it would be unwieldy.

A group of 32 morlocks stands around the entrance to the ruins, generally hanging out, bopping each other on the head with their clubs. The bumbling Pathfinders stumble around the corner and they become enraged and rush to attack.

Shout 30' cone: 5d6 ⇒ (5, 4, 5, 6, 2) = 22 DC 18

Shout:
You emit an ear-splitting yell that deafens and damages creatures in its path. Any creature within the area is deafened for 2d6 rounds and takes 5d6 points of sonic damage. A successful save negates the deafness and reduces the damage by half. Any exposed brittle or crystalline object or crystalline creature takes 1d6 points of sonic damage per caster level (maximum 15d6). An affected creature is allowed a Fortitude save to reduce the damage by half, and a creature holding fragile objects can negate damage to them with a successful Reflex save. A shout spell cannot penetrate a silence spell.
