I have 700 gold, so we have the money. Although it makes sense if the "merchants" try to haggle the amount down.
GM BPC |
And feel free to :) And bodyguards, RP it up if you wish to speak on behalf of your benefactors.

Frankly, not much is coming to mind. Maybe give them a magic item or some such. I was going to suggest that the cost of fixing up his boys after we give them a thrashing might be worth a hundred gold or so.
But with the diplomacy roll I got, I figure he's just not feeling very creative. Must be the heat.
We did get promised we'd get reimbursed if we had to dip into our own funds, so I'm not opposed to buying our way out of this situation. But I'm assuming the 'merchants' know that.
GM BPC |
I will let you know that while the supplies you will get reimbursed, not so much for Scevola, whose services have already been paid for ahead of time. So any gold spent buying his freedom will be out of pocket.

... any gold spent buying his freedom will be out of pocket.
Or out of Elanzo's hide later. That's Mr. Riceak's vote, anyway.
Wyeth's also flush with gold, so he can either chip a share or pay for the entire thing (since he flubbed the negotiations and knows it -- work the guilt!)

We could also take half the horses and give them to the Pathfinders at the ridge. They could use them for food or transport, depending on the need.

Well they do belong... er, belonged... to Raimondo. And I presume he needs his business to survive. If he was actually cheated, then giving away his stuff would be flat-out wrong. And even if he's just a foolish drunk, we might want to be, you know, nice.
Wyeth's Chaotic Good, so...
Kerastes |
Kerastes is LN and feels that Raimondo needs to deliver his services free of charge as a way to pay of his debt to the society. After that the horses or mules are his again.

Sorry for the delay posting. For the next five weeks, Tuesdays and Thursdays will be difficult days for me to post. The one point at which I had a moment yesterday to post, Paizo was down, so....
I sympathize with Wyeth losing his post. I've had that happen enough times that before I submit anything very long, I copy my text to my clipboard, just in case. I've noticed sometimes if two poeple try to post at the same time, one of them gets lost.
GM BPC |
I think it's happened to all of us at one point in our Paizo lives. I know I've lost a few major GM posts... not cool times.
Wyeth Riceak |
Haha... that's a freakin' perfect day job for Marduk! :o)
Day Job - Herbalist (Craft: Alchemy): 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6 And now you know why he's still apprenticing.

Sorry guys, work got busy so no Chronicles until Monday. If that's ok, we'll get started on pt 2 Sunday-ish!
Benson Gangtee |
My level up is complete. Benson took another fighter level. His BAB and Fort save went up by 1. He added the Dazzling Display feat, which gives him a chance of demoralizing all opponents within 30 feet through an intimidating display of sword swinging. His intimidate skill is up to +6. Not much else is changing.

Fine by me, GM. This is supposed to be recreation (read, "fun!") so there's no point in getting crazy about schedules and such.
