Dismissing a created spell is different to ending concentration on a spell sadly, and is a standard action.
Skills don't auto-fail on a 1
The two dragons trap the quasit with a pincer formation and a bag. Disdaining her double, the two lock her up tight leaving her with no time for anything but a shocked yelp.
Sadly the source of her flight is Magical, rather than because of any wings. Consequently, I can't see why getting dunked in a bag is going to cause her to drop out of the sky. That said, it'll let the dragons try and yank her down.
CMB: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 2 = 17
The two dragons drop from the air, pulling the bag with them onto the floor.
Erylium is now bagged and on the floor.

![]() |

ahh so no intimidate then.
Noro grabs the bag tossed to her with the little demon stain inside.
got it! she then proceeds to use the bag as a hammer pounding it on the floor as hard as she can.

GM Arkwright |

Noro gives the demon the biggest hug it's ever had.
ERYLIUM's TURN
Trapped and infuriated, the little demon attempts to pulverize the very spark of life inside you all. Concentrating, tiny waves of energy blast out at you all.
Channel Negative Energy Will DC15 to halve 2d6 ⇒ (3, 4) = 7 damage
Earth Elemental save: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9
Hit by the waves but undaunted, the little earthen creature tries to save its master.
Attack Noro, AOO triggered from Spectrum
Elemental attack: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (10) + 7 = 17 1d6 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 5 = 7
CHAISE, SPECTRUM, WYAM and NORO's TURN

![]() |

will save DC 15: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (20) + 6 = 26
Noro looses sight of everything around her as she concentrates on the the little demon. pushing the pain of the elemental hit aside.
she tightenes her clutch on the thing in the bag hoping to squeezes its head right off its body.
grapple to inflict pain (damage): 1d20 + 11 + 5 ⇒ (2) + 11 + 5 = 18
damage: 1d6 + 8 ⇒ (6) + 8 = 14

Spectrum |

I'm currently unarmed, but I had Shacking Grasp charged. I'm not sure if my last attack hit though. Do I still have it charged? Can I make AoOs with a charged touch attack?

Chaise Zikaldiru |

Seems I forgot to make my stability check last round. I'll do it now:
Constitution (Stable, DC 10): 1d20 - 1 - 4 ⇒ (15) - 1 - 4 = 10
Phew.
HP: -4/20
Will: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (12) + 3 = 15
Just made it! If I hadn't, I'd be at -11 (My CON is 8) and I'd be dead, Jim! Umm, lessee, halve 7.... Oh hey, you always halve down in Pathfinder unless otherwise stated! Didn't know that. Nifty.
HP: -7/20 (Stable, CON 8)
Good thing too. If I take any more damage, I'll be dead!
Chaise groans as the waves of unholy energy wash over him, sapping away his life force.

Spectrum |

Will: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (17) + 2 = 19
I think with a charged touched spell you count as armed. I'm not sure though. Doesn't matter though. I'll just not take the AoO.
Did my previous attack hit?
Spectrum draws his bow and takes a shot at the elemental.
Attack: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (8) + 5 = 13
Damage: 1d8 ⇒ 3

GM Arkwright |

Holding the Charge: If you don’t discharge the spell in the round when you cast the spell, you can hold the charge indefinitely. You can continue to make touch attacks round after round. If you touch anything or anyone while holding a charge, even unintentionally, the spell discharges. If you cast another spell, the touch spell dissipates. You can touch one friend as a standard action or up to six friends as a full-round action. Alternatively, you may make a normal unarmed attack (or an attack with a natural weapon) while holding a charge. In this case, you aren’t considered armed and you provoke attacks of opportunity as normal for the attack. If your unarmed attack or natural weapon attack normally doesn’t provoke attacks of opportunity, neither does this attack. If the attack hits, you deal normal damage for your unarmed attack or natural weapon and the spell discharges. If the attack misses, you are still holding the charge.
You are not considered armed.

Isme |

The problem is that Chaise doesn't have potions. He has scrolls and Isme can't cast from scrolls (YET). However, I can do THIS!
Isme leaves the Scroll of Cure Light Wounds in Chaise's hand before sticking her head in his backpack again.
This was her action last round.
She rummages and comes out with her beak clutching the neck of a bottle filled with gray crystals. She balances it between her talons before removing its stopper and waving it below Chaise's nose.
Smelling Salts! I almost forgot I had these and why I bought them in the first place. :P

Chaise Zikaldiru |

Smelling salts automatically awakens any unconscious character. If unconsciousness is from a failed saving throw against a spell or effect, it allows you a new saving throw to resist. Plus, they aren't consumed and are reusable! Forgot to link the specific item on my previous post, so here it is: Smelling Salts
Chaise awakens, coughing and wrinkling his nose at the strong smell. He clenches his fist around the scroll and stands up, Isme returning the bottle to his bag.
He unrolls the scroll and starts reading the incantation contained within.
Cure Light Wounds on Chaise {Scroll CL 2}: 1d8 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 2 = 3
Move action to stand, standard action to cast CLW from scroll. Cypher Magic gave it +1 CL.
Current HP: -4/20 (Stable)
Not as good as I was hoping, but at least I'm awake.

Chaise Zikaldiru |

Hmm, looking back at the rules, it's seriously tricky. I'll have to leave it up to the GM.
My own interpretation: I became Stable when I made the stability check and became Disabled when I regained consciousness. When disabled, I can only take a move action or standard action (so forget about me standing up). It says that I'm dealt 1 point of damage after the strenuous act and that unless the action "increased my hitpoints", I'm considered "in negative hit points and dying" which, to me, has somewhat odd wording if only because when you're dying, you're always in negative hit points. Dying is defined as unconscious, in negative hit points, and not stabilized. Therefore, following that strenuous action, if healing myself is not considered "increasing my hitpoints", I lose my Stable condition and go back into unconsciousness per RAW. Otherwise, I continue as Disabled at -5 HP. Point of note is that magical healing always causes the Stable condition.

Wyam Marshaal |

Will DC 16: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (8) + 8 = 16
Wyam hisses in agony as the evil energy washed over him and re-opened some of his wounds.
Unable to strike at the demon currently bound and being beaten by Noro, he strikes to eliminate the summoned creature instead in order to clear the field.
Attack (longsword, 2-handed): 1d20 + 6 + 1 ⇒ (14) + 6 + 1 = 21
Damage: 1d8 + 6 + 1 ⇒ (5) + 6 + 1 = 12
Status hp 7/22, AC 18, 0/3 LoH remaining

GM Arkwright |

Heh, it's my turn, my mistake.
ERYLIUM's TURN
Combined with Erylium's weakening blasts, Wyam's sword shatters the stone-man into stone-stones. It drops to the ground, gravel, rapidly disappearing.
The little quasit channels once more.
Channel Negative Energy Will DC15 to halve 2d6 ⇒ (2, 6) = 8 damage
NORO, WYAM, SPECTRUM and CHAISE's TURN

Spectrum |

Will: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 2 = 10
Spectrum hisses angrily at the pain lancing though him and drags Chaise down the stairs as gently as he can.
Gotta get you free of those channels or you're going to die. With a double move I can pull him exactly 30 feet.
Then, spectrum snaps a potion out of his other wrist sheathe and slaps it onto Chaise's chest.
"Glimmer, Array, get clear of those blasts and pour this down Chaise's throat!"

Array |

Is Channel Energy subject to Spell Resistance?
Will: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (19) + 4 = 23
Array smolders at the blast, managing to avoid most of it. He scales still flake and darken across half his body.
He swoops off the balcony and pull open the potion and dumps it in Chaise's mouth.
Infernal Healing. Chaise gets Fast Heal 1 for 10 rounds.

Glimmer |

Will: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8
Glimmer wasn't so lucky. her scales blistered under the blast and she whined in pain, both vocally and telepathically.
She flew away to the other side of the room whimpering, not listening to Spectrum at all.

![]() |

Will DC15: 1d20 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 4 + 2 = 26 (+2 rage)
Maintaining the little bugger in her hold Noro tries to ensure he does not do that again.
grapple to inflict damage: 1d20 + 9 + 2 + 5 ⇒ (10) + 9 + 2 + 5 = 26 (+2 rage, +5 for grapple control)
damage: 1d6 + 8 ⇒ (2) + 8 = 10

Chaise Zikaldiru |

Will: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 11
Blood runs down Chaise's lips as his mouth overflows, something teared in his lungs when the unholy energy washed over him.
HP: -12/24 (CON 8)
Dead, dead, dead!

Spectrum |

No. Spectrum didn't know he was dead. He would have tried to save him, even if it was futile.
Spectrum slumped quietly to the ground, sitting next to his fallen friend.
"He's... gone."

GM Arkwright |

ERYLIUM's TURN
Spectrum's whispered words, the clattering of Wyam falling to the ground and Chaise's haunting silence reverberates throughout the chamber. The pool explodes into bubbles in time with it, orange and red, rising and falling just like the mocking laughter erupting from the bag.
"Ha... ha... HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!" The demon shifts a little in Noro's grip, and speaks. "Two of you have fallen, the rest are next! Free and bow to me, and I and the glorious Mother of Monsters may let you live, or at least grant you a quick death. Now- free me. Free me now." Her words race, unmuffled by the bag: "FREEMENOWOUTOUTOUTOUTOUTTTTTTT!"

![]() |

OK, no need to yell at me... :)
Just shut up and passh out already!
Noro is even angrier than before as she feels the pain of the negative energy rip at her flesh and knowing some of her friends are down.
She screams out in anger as her death grip tightens even more
grapple again: 1d20 + 9 + 2 + 5 ⇒ (17) + 9 + 2 + 5 = 33
damage: 1d6 + 8 ⇒ (6) + 8 = 14

GM Arkwright |

Noro feels bones crack, sees little drops of blood dripping out of the bag, and hears a hoarse scream. The little demon ceases speaking and struggling; the bubbling pool stills its eruptions just a little as if in response.
The battle seems over.
Quasit is now unconscious and dying. Dropping out of initiative.

Spectrum |

Spectrum notices that Wyam has fallen and runs to his side, not sure what options he had left to save his friends.
Heal, untrained: 1d20 ⇒ 19
"Noro, he's dying! Do you have any potions left?"
Lucky! I think that gets Wyam stable.

![]() |

Noro drops the lifeless body and pulls out one of her potions of cure light and tosses it to Spectrum.
here, shave him
ok, that is supposed to be save him but with the lisp it sounded like shave
She then returns to the lifeless form in the bag.
she stomps on it just to be sure it is not moving
damage: 1d6 + 8 ⇒ (4) + 8 = 12
