Chaise Zikaldiru |

Isme will stay on me, but since she can do stuff....
Chaise curses as his bolt misses and whirls when the screaming behind him increases in volume, spotting the goblin attacking the crowd.
"Oh, for—Wyam! Goblin behind you! Protect the crowd!" he yells at the man as he concentrates on the goblin attacking the crowd, hastily digging through his spell component pouch. "Everyone, get to the cathedral!"
"Concentreaza-te pe ceea ce faci," Isme snaps before puffing her chest. "Toată lumea să Catedrala!"
"Concentrate on what you're doing," Isme snaps before puffing her chest. "Everyone to the cathedral!"
Diplomacy (Isme) 1d20 - 2 ⇒ (5) - 2 = 3
Chaise takes out a piece of cured leather and focusing on it as he moves his free hand over himself, reciting an incantation.
Standard Action: Cast Wizard Mage Armor (+4 Armor AC for 1 hour, new AC is: 15/11/14)
There's no visible result but Chaise can feel a force around him, protecting him from harm. He puts away the piece of leather and moves towards the goblin attacking the crowd.
Move Action: Move to G-12, probably provoke AoO.
"Hey, bastard!"

Elena Whetstone |

Staying low, Elena moves quickly towards the goblin near the dog, drawing her kukri as she moves. She throws her dagger at him when she is a few (10) feet away.
Stealth to move undetected 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (2) + 8 = 10

Wyam Marshaal |

Wyam swings mightily at the goblin in front of him even as Chaise calls out a warning...
Attack (Longsword, two-handed): 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (20) + 5 = 25Damage: 1d8 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 6 = 7
Crit Confirm?: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (5) + 5 = 10Damage: 1d8 + 6 ⇒ (7) + 6 = 13
... likely felling the creature. Turning to the crowd, he moved behind the next-closest goblin to hopefully draw its attention from the crowd.
If the goblin is dead, Wyam will move to (I,20). If it's still alive, he'll step back to (J,20).
Status: hp 13, AC 18 shield not currently equipped

GM Arkwright |

Wyam's blade passes just an inch away from cutting the goblin's head off; instead it only rips the little creature's throat out, sending him to the floor gasping and gurgling as Wyam's sword is stained with blood.
I've had difficulties before with this so I will mention it- you fellows can move your images around the map yourselves. Click the top of it and drag.

Spectrum |

Spectrum was a bit surprise at how quickly the little creature had closed the distance to him. With a quick backward step, he unleashed the spell that had marked him as a prodigy at the academy. A burst of scintillating color and light flashed out directly into the goblin's face.
Color Spray. DC17 will. Nighty night, ugly.

GM Arkwright |

Goblins are up.
The Goblin near Wyam steps up and tries to plunge his grimy sword into Wyam's kidneys.
1d20 + 2 ⇒ (18) + 2 = 20 1d4 ⇒ 4
And succeeds! Wyam takes a nasty bow.
Another droid shoots a barbed arrow at Elena.
1d20 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5 1d4 ⇒ 1
And just barely manages not to shoot itself in the foot but grazes itself, hopping around madly.
The one near Chaise is still angry with him and tries to slice at his heels.
1d20 + 2 ⇒ (12) + 2 = 14 1d4 ⇒ 1
And succeeds but only manages to draw a small line of blood.
Finally, the one near Spectrum has at him.
1d20 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 2 = 9 1d4 ⇒ 2
And misses.
I need to run through the crowd's actions then you fellows are up.

GM Arkwright |

The bunches of people break, and run. Avoiding the goblins, and you, they sprint past you clutching children and belongings and make for their homes- despite how some of them are still burning, far off. The father locks himself inside the Cathedral, and the mayor runs off with the crowds.
NEXT ROUND
The goblin near Chaise draws a small line of blood with a slash. So sorry, forgot one of the goblins was on a higher initiative. Moving his action to next round, ignore it in previous.
You're up.

Chaise Zikaldiru |

Chaise curses when the goblin just manages to slice at his heels.
He thrusts an arm into the sky and Isme, perched on the shoulder of his other arm, closes her eyes as a large flash of electricity suddenly sparks from Chaise, right in front of the goblin.
Reflex DC 15 (negates dazzle, halves damage)
Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 3
Dazzle: 1d4 ⇒ 1 rounds
It is quickly over and Chaise steps back and takes out his dagger.

Spectrum |

Spectrum kneels to retrieve the small wicked blade from the unconscious goblin in front of him and efficiently ends the creature's life with it.
Free action, pick up unattended object. Full Round action, Coup De Grace.

Spectrum |

Hmm. I seem to be wrong. Apparently the developers think picking something up is a move action. Guess I've been doing that wrong for years. Not sure how much sense it makes that picking something up takes as much time as moving 30 feet, but whatever. It isn't that important. It was mostly just flavor. I'll use Ray of Frost instead. It deals the same damage.
Edit: Can't coup de grace with ranged attacks. Sheesh. Shows how often I use that particular rule.
This little bastard is sure lucky that the rules hate certain things for no reason. I'm not wasting that much time on him. I'll just kick his knife away and come back for him later while he's dazed and blind.
Spectrum kicked the knife away and turned to move toward the next goblin he could see.

GM Arkwright |

The goblins!
The one Chaise dazzled just continues screaming and rubbing its eyes, slowly hopping around in a circle.
The one Spectrum stunned continues to snooze.
The two near Wyam are currently lying on the ground, ruptured.
Angered at Spectrum, the one remaining unharmed goblin drops her bow and runs at him, shrieking a loud war cry, pulling out her knife and trying to jab it into him.
1d20 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 2 = 7 1d4 ⇒ 1
But Spectrum manages to twist aside.
The crowds run even further away, out of sight.
NEW ROUND- you fellows are up again.

Wyam Marshaal |

Hearing one goblin scream, and catching the moving goblin out of his eye, Wyam charges the goblin trying to attack an Elf standing at the corner of the building.
By my count, the movement distance across 5 diagonals is 35' and thus within charging distance of double-movement.
Attack (Longsword, 2-hand, Charge: 1d20 + 5 + 2 ⇒ (15) + 5 + 2 = 22
Damage: 1d8 + 6 ⇒ (3) + 6 = 9

GM Arkwright |

Actually, I believe the minimum distance before charging is 10ft. Just thought you should know.
As Spectrum staggers back, the bulk of Wyam surges forward into his field of vision, his blade neatly cleaving into the goblin's chest.
As the little creature drops to the ground gurgling, a moment of silence falls, punctuated by occasional sounds of fire, goblins and destruction from other sides of town.
You four are the only survivors left in the plaza.
Combat over, RP time!

Spectrum |

"Thank you." the elf says with a nod. Gesturing to the goblin on the ground a short ways away he continues. "That one will wake shortly. Have you rope to bind it with?"

Glimmer |

Curious, the small dragon winged down and landed on the unconscious goblin. She sniffed the creature, made a small noise something like a sneeze and a hiss and reared back.
The goblin stirred abruptly it's bulbous eyes opening and dazedly trying to focus on the tiny thing on it's chest.
The dragon squeaked in surprise and it's tail shot out, driving a barbed stinger into the goblin's face. It twitched and jerked, then went still, it's breathing slowing as it began to drool on itself.
Glimmer rapidly stabbed her stinger into the goblin three more times for good measure, then sat up proudly, flaring her wings in triumph of her "kill" and looked around, obviously seeking praise.
I winned! the small voice echoed in Wyam's head again.
Glimmer tail attack: 1d20 + 9 ⇒ (7) + 9 = 16
Damage: 1d2 - 4 ⇒ (2) - 4 = -2 1 minimum
Goblin Fort Save, DC 12: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9

Chaise Zikaldiru |

Chaise approaches Wyam and the elf, wincing when he walks on his slightly injured heels.
"Greetings," he says and then grimaces when Glimmer drives her tail into the goblin repeatedly. Isme on his shoulder looks skeptical, an amazing feat for a raven but one she manages daily. "Err."

Wyam Marshaal |

Actually, I believe the minimum distance before charging is 10ft. Just thought you should know.
I was concerned about maximum distance, not minimum.
At the elf's thanks, Wyam nods his head, "You're welcome, sir."
When the strange voice echoes in his mind, Wyam looks around the square in confusion. "What? Who said that?" he demanded, even as a small dragon-like creature landed on a goblin and stabbed it with its tail.
At Chaise's approach, Wyam turned and greeted his travelling companion in turn. "And good day to you, to, Chaise. Have you seen Elena?"

Spectrum |

Spectrum raised an eyebrow, quickly realizing what must have happened.
"You will have to forgive her. She has not yet mastered the art of refining her broadcasts."
"Have either of you rope to bind the goblin with?"

Wyam Marshaal |

When the voice "speaks" again, Wyam sees the small dragon-like creature sitting on the goblin looking extremely proud of itself. When the elf confirms that it was indeed the dragon, Wyam makes a grunt-like noise of speculation as if to say that was all very interesting but it was something he'd look into later.
"I'm afraid not, master elf. Chaise?"

Chaise Zikaldiru |

"Rope?" Chaise shakes his head. "I don't have any."
He looks at the pseudodragon, recognizing it from earlier. "They're with you?" he says to Spectrum. "Huh. Wasn't there another one?"
The loud sounds of chaos from the other sides of town regains his attention. "We should go check on the other sides of town as soon as Elena joins us. Any idea where to go?"

Spectrum |

"Sheriff." The elf corrected.
Turning back to the others, he said "Aid should be arriving soon. I know the town well. Follow me."
"And if there is no rope, please dispose of this goblin. We cannot leave it here."

GM Arkwright |

While you speak, the female warrior who aided gives out a loud cry and scurries off into a side-street to the west, heedless of your calls. Before she turns a corner and vanishes into the distance, you see a swarm of ten goblins drop down from the roof and grab her, squealing and laughing and crackling evilly, dragging her out of sight as she screams.
Before you can recover, an enormous plume of flame erupts to the south, followed by the shrieking of women and children.
Outside the nearby Rusty Dragon, a cart filled with alcohol for the festival is parked; not any more of course. Five goblins armed with flaming torches have set it afire and let out an exulted cry as it explodes in a great inferno. The fire spreads enough that it begins to threaten the Dragon, and behind the five goblins another points commandingly at the tavern and lets out harsh, rhythmic string of Goblin words. Screams are coming from the windows of the tavern.
Suddenly, the door to the tavern slams open, and a woman steps forward...

Spectrum focuses on the fire. Striding forward with purpose, he extends a hand. A small stormcloud forms over the flames and begins dumping an impressive amount of water over them, getting the woman and the goblins rather wet.
"Apologies, miss Noro." he said to the woman as he directed his rain cloud over the flames.

I believe that as the Goblins have not acted yet they are flat footed. Keep that in mind! You guys are up.

Spectrum |

Suddenly Spectrum seems to flicker as he moves, leaving an afterimage behind for a moment as he takes a step, like a dark spot on the eyes after seeing a bright light, his stride seeming to skip some of the spaces in between.
Moving to the closes pair, he raised his hand again spewing forth another eruption of prismatic light.
Activate Spell Dance for +10 move speed, cast Color Spray on goblins at K8 and L9. Will save DC 16
