Honestly the cultists' motives are kinda thin. Norgorber likes secrets, and so they wanted to destroy the documents to keep them secret. That's about it.
You leave the Shrine and find some guards to take the cultists. Worship of Norgorber may be legal in Absalom, but attempted murder is always frowned upon. You notice that many of the onlookers to Sir Reinhard's attempt are in shock, and a few whisper of how terrible falling into the pit must be.
Dreng greets you all warmly, "These documents are amazing. I'll set some translators on them immediately. I've also spoken to Master Shane, and you are to be sent on your Confirmation as soon as possible due to your spectacular find. Thank you all again!"
A few days later, you each receive a letter from Ambrus Valsin.
Pathfinder, Your recent investigations and recovery of agent Eylysia’s papers have already yielded results. Under my direction, a team of scholars has tracked down the long-retired Society ciphers the gnome used and translated many of her entries. Although several of these records provide valuable leads, one of them in particular has caught my attention. It describes an exciting opportunity to explore uncharted ruins that crashed out of the sky thousands of years ago.The barren land of Numeria is famous for these bizarre ruins, whose depths are rich with the otherworldly technologies of Silver Mount. Normally, learning of these sites, let alone gaining permission to access them, is a daunting task. Fortunately, Eylysia’s papers lead us directly to a remote ruin called Sulfur Gulch, which the famous Pathfinder Gojan the Sharp located four centuries ago. Eylysia’s records also indicate that Gojan vanished a year after discovering the site, having earned unfulfilled favors from local tribes that we may be able to leverage to our advantage. Venture-Captain Holgarin Smine of Tymon is carefully gathering a list of potential agents who he believes are qualified to face the dangers of Sulfur Gulch. While I would not normally recommend that agents as new as you are delve into such a perilous location, you show promise and may well be prepared by the time he is ready to launch the expedition. In the meantime, if you could help me identify other promising agents who would be interested in this project, I would consider it a great service.
Highest Regards, Venture-Captain Ambrus Valsin
Chronicles will be posted in a day or so. You also achieved the secondary success condition. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Aquavius adds a mark to a special scroll and has Venture-Captain Dreng sign it. "One more credit 'til freedom." She pauses, and then motions to her allies. "Oh, don't forget the wine, too."
"If we're done here...I got a pair of half-orcs to drink under the table. Who's comin' with me?"
----
Aquavius emerges from the bay, soaking wet and taking a deep breath of air. A courier stops by and hands her a letter. "Can't I enjoy a morning swim in peace? What is it?" She reads the letter and smirks. "This Pathfinder gig will never end, huh? Fine."
This was fun. Thanks, GM!

"I'll join you... there's a scholar there I'd like to chat with some more, plus I'd like to actually see who drinks who under the table, might be fun!"

Crixus accompanies the pair the bar and while he promises to have a drink he already knows he has no shot of out drinking any of the trio and doesn't plan on trying.
"Well I'll definitely have a drink with you but ill stay sober enough to take the survivors home."
