Nope, see my posts just before this. I goofed and missed several PCs' turns. So Kalvanon has not (yet) cast this spell on you. We'll see the situation when her turn comes around and I'll decide her action then. And if she does cast the same spell on you again, you can make your (hopefully higher) save at that time.

Lasaraleen looks Kalvanon straight in the eye but by the force of her hardy spirit avoids having the ghost corrupt her beauty. Still, the gaze hits her like a physical blow.

Lasaraleen calls upon the power of Sarenrae to protect her and her friends from these foul creatures. Please be sure to read the spoilers below to understand how this may benefit you. In particular, note that if you make an attack, you lose the sanctuary effect. If Lasaraleen makes an attack, everyone loses the sanctuary effect.

Divine Presence:

Divine Presence (Su): At 8th level, you can emit a 30-foot aura of divine presence for a number of rounds per day equal to your cleric level. All allies within this aura are treated as if under the effects of a sanctuary spell with a DC equal to 10 + 1/2 your cleric level + your Wisdom modifier. These rounds do not need to be consecutive. Activating this ability is a standard action. If an ally leaves the area or makes an attack, the effect ends for that ally. If you make an attack, the effect ends for you and your allies.

Sanctuary:

Any opponent attempting to directly attack the warded creature, even with a targeted spell, must attempt a Will save. If the save succeeds, the opponent can attack normally and is unaffected by that casting of the spell. If the save fails, the opponent can’t follow through with the attack, that part of its action is lost, and it can’t directly attack the warded creature for the duration of the spell. Those not attempting to attack the subject remain unaffected. This spell does not prevent the warded creature from being attacked or affected by area of effect spells. The subject cannot attack without breaking the spell but may use non-attack spells or otherwise act.

@Lasaraleen, re your question about Kalvanon and your channel in round 1, she was out of range when you channeled. Note that if you channel offensively against her now it will break your Sanctuary effect for everyone.

Jair also looks directly at Kalvanon but resists the most corrupting part of her gaze.

Then Jair wraps herself in a cocoon of necromantic energy, in hopes that it will protect her from the worst of the spectres' attacks. Armed with the defense of her new death ward, she moves forward to attempt to draw the spectres to her.

Then she directs two blasts of magical force towards the Red spectre, which strike it full on, and appear to do full damage to it. Force effects do full damage to incorporeal creatures. Doodle, this will remove the Sanctuary effect on you. It's still probably a good move, but let me know if you would prefer to retcon to do something else to keep the Sanctuary up.

Tonkk cannot resist the urge to stare Kalvanon directly in the eye, but he too resists the worst effects of her gaze.

Then he lunges forward to attack one of the spectres. You wrote Green, but since Green is under the control of Jair, I'm directing your attack towards Red (since that is the spectre who has already taken some damage) His first attack hits Red, doing half damage, while the second misses. Note that this will remove the Sanctuary effect on you; let me know if you wish to retcon to do something non-violent instead.

Kalvanon scowls at her enemies and tries, once again, to blind Electra. First, though, she must overcome the power of Sarenrae.

@Everyone, please note that if you are not planning on attacking Kalvanon in a particular turn, there's really no reason not to avert your gaze from her. It gives you a 50% chance of avoiding the gaze altogether. Even if you are intending to attack her, all you are giving up is that averting your gaze gives you a 20% miss chance. Since you've already seen that her gaze does 2d10 dmg even if you make your save, it's worth considering.

Electra resists Kalvanon's spell and is not permanently blinded. She averts her gaze from Kalvanon's eyes Avert gaze, high is good for Electra: 1d100 ⇒ 98 and avoids it entirely, at least for now. @Electra,note that the 2 negative levels reduce your caster level by 2 - you still make your concentration check, but only just barely - and this makes your mirror images 1d4+2, so you have 1 less mirror image.

@Lasaraleen,[/ooc] you could see that they *were* affected by your sanctuary, but that they overcame it by the force of their will. And you think that they'll need to keep doing so (i.e. keep making Will saves) if they wish to attack anyone protected in future rounds).[/ooc]

Lasaraleen, I've already noted the 6 dmg from the last round of Acid Arrow in your tally, so by my count you are at 38 dmg, not 44. Let me know if you think I've got it wrong.

@Everyone, A reminder about how the gaze attacks work: if you choose to avert your eyes you have a 50% chance of not having to make the save at all. Since (as you've already seen) the gaze does 2d10 dmg even if you make the save, this is a pretty useful benefit. The only downside is that you have a 20% miss chance, and that's only against Kalvanon (Blue), whom none of you are currently attacking anyway. You can also choose to close your eyes (making yourself effectively blind for the entire round), which will make you immune to the gaze attack for that round but obviously has more downsides as well.

Lasaraleen successfully avoids Kalvanon's gaze and calls forth healing energy from her goddess Sarenrae, healing all of her comrades. Updated damage tallies posted in the Status block above

Doodle also manages to avoid the ghost's frightful gaze and sends two bolts of magical force into the Red spectre, who appears to take full damage from them.

Edit: Merisiel, it's not your turn yet, so I'll leave this as your round 4 action but you can choose to change it when your turn comes around if you wish. Merisiel also averts her gaze... You didn't post to do this, but there's really no reason not to, so I'll make a roll for you

Tonkk: the rules never make clear what happens if you fail a Fly check. By my reading, it simply means that you are not able to hover (and thus full attack), and need to use a move action to move, not that you need to land (unless you want to). Note also that, from your former position (I think - not completely positive where you were), you could have made a single (Lunging) attack against the already wounded Red before taking your move action (being incorporeal, Yellow will not provide cover). Unused to flying, Tonkk is a bit wobbly and is unable to hover in the air and fully let loose at the spectre. Still he manages to slice one of them Yellow, as stated, or Red, if you prefer, though the attack only does partial damage to the incorporeal creature.

Tonkk also cannot resist the urge to look at Kalvanon. Although his hardiness prevents her from corrupting his beauty, he nevertheless feels her gaze strike him soundly.

not to get into a rules argument but I've always ruled that cure spells work fully with a touch attack save for half. That's the way it was in 3.5 and seems to be the spirit for PF.

In 3.5, you had 50% chance to hit an incorporeal creature. That's not the case in Pathfinder.
The rules in Path is clear "Even when hit by spells or magic weapons, it takes only half damage from a corporeal source (except for channel energy)."
Nothing is said about positive energy.

A couple things to be aware of here: first, if you look on the map, you'll see that you don't really have a square to step back to. To be nice, I'll say that you can squeeze into the square one to the left of your current position. Let me know if you want to do that. Alternatively, you can stay where you are and cast defensively (but with all the negative levels you have there's a real risk that you'll lose your spell). A third option would be to cast non-defensively and hope that your mirror images protect you from the AoO.

Second, the text of the mirror image spell includes this: "An attacker must be able to see the figments to be fooled. If you are invisible or the attacker is blind, the spell has no effect (although the normal miss chances still apply)." So casting invisibility will give them a 50% miss chance against you (assuming they don't have Blind-Fight or Tremorsense or other shenanigans) but you will give up the much bigger miss chance that your Mirror Images are currently giving you.

Third, also be aware that being invisible will not protect you from Kalvanon's gaze attack. The attack is triggered by you seeing her gaze. Someone tell me if you think I've got this wrong, but I'm pretty sure that's correct.

I'll hold off on resolving this until you let me know how you'd like to proceed: stick with your action as posted or do something else.
