Seeing Alloy begin to engulf Cold Snap Jo grits her teeth in frustration before letting her eyes fall to the gun in her hands Maybe... Jo thinks to herself before bursting into action fiddleing with the gun in an effort to push it to it's limits in order to create a blast strong enough to deal with Alloy "Here goes nothing" Jo says with a sigh before taking a shot at Alloy.

Cat quickly bypasses the safety inhibitors on the Hsmart gun and fires all of it's potential energy at Alloy. A green wave of concussive force impacts Alloy sending him tumbling backwards, along with Cold Snap, where he ricochets off the ice barge before splashing into the harbor twenty feet away.

@Ogami - as mentioned before, Living Lightning doesn't have a body you can hit, it is composed of conscious self aware animated electricity.
You can't use physical attacks to fight it, you need to think of how electricity behaves and use that against it. The attack would have missed anyway but if you want to redo and take another course of action you can.

Seeing his beloved blown into the harbor Vohon's anger literary erupts transforming his hair into rippling flame. Any semblance of human level intelligence disappear as roars and charges Cat. As he charges waves of heat flow off him igniting the combustible materials around him leaving a trail of fire in his wake.
Fiery claws slash at Cat's head, ATK vs Cat: 1d20 + 10 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 10 + 2 = 20, hitting her squarely on the temple.

At the moment, it looks like we have a 3 on 1 dogpile on Vohon, but Liberteen could use some help with the Lightning guy. I think I can help with that. Captain Cosmos changes a setting on his PPG to Temporal/Spacial Helix setting. The captain makes a deft combat roll and pops up drawing a bead on the energy form of Living Lightning. "Hey Sparky, even energy can't avoid a twist in space and time!"

Jo smirked as the gun worked exactly as planned blasting the metal man into the harbor, she was given just a few brief moments to pat herself ont he back before being faced with perhaps the single most terrifying sight of her life. A fully grown and incredibly angry bear, on fire, charging directly at her. The beast was on her before she could do more than start scrambling for an escape.


Cat rolls with the Vohon's blow dissipating the majority of it's force and is only staggered instead of headless.

Forgot Living Lightning's turn. Living Lightning spreads itself out forming a electric shield around the ice barge.

Chris 114 - The -2 is only applied to resistance checks not to attacks or any other actions. If you were using multi-attack against more than one opponent then you would have a -1 for each opponent attacked. If you are only attacking one opponent with a multi-attack the power level of your attack increases depending on how successful your attack was.
Your description indicates you are only attacking one opponent, Vohon,so you would not have any penalties on the attack. Your attack roll should be 15 not 13.

Chris 114 leaps to attack Vohon with his own claws but misjudged his leap and hits the dock were Vohon was just a moment before.

@Liberteen - no need to confirm crits in M&M3, A natural 20 is an automatic hit and if the attack check total is equal to or greater than the target’s defense it is a critical hit. The 24 attack check is more than LL's dodge rating so it is a crit. Because you got a crit you can add one of these three effects to your attack;

Increased Effect::
The critical hit increases the difficulty
to resist the attack’s effect by +5. Against a minion,
this bypasses the resistance check entirely; the
minion automatically receives the highest degree of
the attack’s effect.

Added Effect::
The critical hit adds another effect
onto the attack, but its effective rank is 0, so the resistance
DC is just the base value (10, or 15 for Damage).
The added effect can be anything the player
can reasonably describe and justify as adjunct to
the original effect: an Affliction (useful for all sorts of
“gut checks,” blows to the head or vitals, etc.), Dazzle
(blood in the eyes, boxing the ears, etc.), or Weaken,
to name a few. The GM decides if the effect suits the
circumstances of the attack. The target makes resistance
checks against the attack’s initial and added
effects separately.

Alternate Effect::
The critical hit results in an alternate
effect for the attack, like a use of extra effort for
a power stunt (see Extra Effort in The Basics chapter),
except the character suffers no fatigue as a result.

Cosmos levels his gun at the Burning Bear, and takes careful aim. Thinging to himself, Okay Q, I'll back your play but one hundred Quatloos says Vohon isn't the surrendering type.

As he aims, he says quietly..."Cosmos to Zephyr, If Liberteen doesn't start moving by the time the transmat cycles, pull her up to the ship too... I know she has some healing ability, but it doesn't seem to be working right now."

Standard action to take the aim action at Vohon. If he chooses to fight I get a +5 to my attack roll next time my turn comes around.

Since others have opted to try to get the fire bear to surrender, Subject 114 moves over to the ice barge, and attempts to render it incapable of transporting goods any longer.

Subject 114 turns his attention to the barge, since someone saw fit to get in his way of fighting the fire bear.

He tears at the barge, seeking to prevent its use in transporting stolen goods.


@QNetic - Missed the dazed, got it now.
@Chriss 114 - the -5 for attacks disappeared with the snowstorm.

Capt. Cosmos joins in facing down the bear while Chriss 114 begins dismantling the ice barge by breaking free the containers and putting them back on the dock.

Liberteen begins to heal from her injuries. [ooc]Liberteen will be able to act next turn.

Cat finds herself in the Zephyr's vita-chamber, she can either stay put and get healed or move.

Vohon grows in anger and frustration as the subject of his anger was teleported away. After a few moments hesitation the flames he's wreathed in fade to nothing as he sit on his haunches, "YOU HAVE ME, I SURRENDER. DON'T THINK THIS ENDS HERE DR. LAZARUS WILL COME FOR ME AND THE EQUIPMENT STOLEN FROM HIM. NOW TAKE ME TO YOUR JAIL I'M HUNGRY FROM BATTLE.

Alloy and Cold Snap never resurface.

Jo gasped as her eyes snapped open, just moments ago she had ducked, rolled, and scrambled away from the bear as it began to unleash an explosion of fire, she'd closed her eyes just before the flames caught up with her and then suddenly things were MUCH less hot and on top of that she was no longer moving.

She found herself in the unfamiliar surroundings that made up the vita-chamber resulting in Jo taking the only course of action that made any sense to her still adrenaline fueled mind. She started thrashing about in an effort to escape whatever sort of confinement she was presently inside not knowing it was simply a part of the Zephyr "Zed Athena someone tell me where the hell I am before I start ripping things apart" Jo said as already she was searching for some means of escape primarily by means of kicking anything that looked like a hatch while doing her best to ignore the throbbing pain from the wounds that the bear and it's fire had managed to inflict.

Athena's singsong mechanical voice plays gently in the darkness, "Cat, There is no cause for alarm. You have been transmatted directly into the Zephyr's Vitapod. You blacked out briefly while it treated your concussion, that is what is causing your disorientation. In eight seconds the pod will complete the repairs of the micro-fractures in your pelvis.

Repairs complete. I will open the pod door now. If you return to the pod, it will take about another 30 seconds to reduce the swelling and contusions that will continue to cause pain. I will return to transmatting the police agents to the ambulances behind the S.M.R.T. cordon."

The top of the slightly larger the clam-like cocoon swings open, revealing the familiar interior of the Astral Zephyr. It's easy to make your way to the bridge.


The NYPD moves in followed by the remaining S.M.R.T.ies and NYFD.

An average slightly overweight middle aged man approaches along with two uniformed cops in tow. "I'm Capt. Lafferty which one of you heroes is in charge? I'd like to get your statements on what happened before Hubert gets involved." as he says that he indicates a balding man in the background barking orders. Hubert but is generally ignored except for the remaining S.M.R.T.ies who ignore the ongoing fires and general destruction and begin setting up a blockade around the shipping crates that the villains were trying to steal.
You can begin by telling what the hell is going on and why there is a bear looking at me?


Qnetic leans over Liberteen, switching to his biomanipulator form and healing her from her most recent wounds.
