With that in mind I think I'll scope out what the samurai is up to, if hes with them then I can try and take him down before he tries to jump someone else and hopefully he'll just be a guy with a sword. Humn, If you think you will be more useful up here in the ship, that's fine too. Unfortunately, a lot of the control systems have been routed through the same junction bus... We are working on that, but it means that many major systems can't run at the same time."

As the crate flies towards them, Chris sees Liberteen's muscles flex as she tries to catch the crate.
use this for whichever happens: 1d20 ⇒ 10
If she succeeds in catching it, Chris will immediately change to his ranged combat form, and use his Groundspike ability. As his form covers in biomass, he plunges his fists into the ground, locking himself in place. In the distance, from under the boat massive spikes of biomass erupt and attempt to puncture the hull.
Groundspike: Burst Area Damage 10 (DC 25; Burst Area: 30 feet radius sphere, DC 20, Increased Range: ranged, Indirect 4: any point, any direction, Penetrating 10; Distracting)
If she looks to be failing or struggling, Chris immediately shifts to his melee form and lends his strength to keep the young girl from being crushed. (STR 9)

These are the smallest standard sized shipping crates, they are 20ft X 8ft x 8 ft 6in. Each has a maximum carry capacity just over 5,000lbs and a volume of just over 1,000cf. They not all at maximum weight but there in no way you can lift the entire barge. You might be able to lift about 7 or 8 crates if free from the ice.

Captain Cosmos leaps out of the airlock and takes to the sky flying. Suddenly becoming visible over the East River. Taking advantage of the surprise he attempts to catch the ice woman, the bear and the metal man in the 60ft cone of his wide angle stun.

GM, when you ask for a resistance, could you say which kind to use? I'm still not sure. As near as i can tell, Liberteen either used Fort or Toughness.

The lightning would be fortitude. I will specify witch to use in the future. You some damage to the barge but it's made of ice so it will float regardless of how many holes it has.

@Liberteen - Living Lighting just attacked you, (s)he is right next to you so you don't have to move to engage. You can change your action if you want. Also to clarify Living Lighting is living lighting, (s)he isn't throwing lightning bolts (s)he is a lighting bolt.

With the transmat placing her near the Samurai Jo prepares to dash into some sort of cover however her cowls sensors alaert her to the fact that the Samurai having already spotted her, much to her surprise hwoever unlike the other powered-people already on the scene the Samurai makes no effort to attack outside of drawing his sword.
"You can call me Cat, What are the chances that you aren't the lookout for those four" Jo questions while making a gesture in the direction of the others that were already on the scene before her and Zed's arrival. Her cowl now picking up a few of the others from the fiasco in the city. "I just popped down here to get a better angle to move in on the others so if you are just watching I don't think there is any reason for us to come into conflict" Jo flashes the Samurai a smile in hopes of disarming some of the tension. "Who are you?" Jo asks while preparing her self in case the samurai decided to attack.
Jo will be taking the Defend action while using her mvoe action to try and move closer to any of the weapons laying around if any are near enough to her position without also putting her in danger of being jumped by one of the villains

Deftly avoiding the bear's heat ray, Captain Cosmos alights upon the crates on the far side of the dock from the Moldavian crates to take some cover from the bear's heat rays. "Let's see if we can make this a couples skate..." He mutters to himself, setting his PPG to heavy stun and fires on Coldsnap's beloved bear.
Heavy Stun Blast vs. Dodge: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (19) + 10 = 29
Assuming it hits, Fortitude vs. DC 20 for cumulative status effects based on the same affliction stun effects... Daze -> Stun -> Incapacitated
So if he misses by one degree he gets knocked down to stunned, and two degrees takes him to incapacitated.
