Nicatha of the Manifold Moon |
Nicatha will take the second ring of protection and the spellbook. What spells does the book have?
Nicatha follows after the group. She looks particularly interested in the shrine to the great battle spirit.

Something's not right. A room like this is never empty. Drago thought to himself as he looked around the room for anything suspicious.

GM Henry Fortuna |
You find nothing more than a gold idol of a warrior carrying a battle axe, a set of silver chimes, and a small iron tripod holding an iron bowl. Inside the bowl are three malachites.
There is a door at the south end of the chapel.
GM Henry Fortuna |
The skeleton opens the door for Mortimus. It is very cold here. Chains, a skull hanging from each one, are suspended from the ceiling of this large chamber. In the center of the room, a silver aspergillum hangs from a stout chain. Rusted iron bars running from floor to ceiling divide this chamber into a number of distinct sections. Within each section, a jumble of bones covers the floor.
GM Henry Fortuna |
As the cleric and the oracle enter the room, several of the bones come together. Two of the skeletons are wreathed in ice and frost while three others appear to be plain warriors.

GM Henry Fortuna |
You enter into a large cavern, that slopes quickly down into a pit of dark sludge. You spy two drow on the same side of the sinkhole as you. On the opposite side stands a black robed figure who looks almost like Drago, save for a few minor details.
"So, you've come. Excellent," the dhampir says. "Your blood shall serve as the catalyst. Be happy, you worthless peons! You will be an integral part in ushering a new era of darkness."
His eyes turn to Drago. "I'm sorry our meeting will be cut short, dear brother. I'm sure we have much to share, but you oppose Mother and for that you must die."
His eyes gaze at the pit for a moment before addressing the two drow. "Kill them and make it quick."
