Satinder Morne |

Satinder will draw her weapon, readying to attack anything in sight.
Can't see the map right now. Sorry, I didn't know you where waiting for me

DM Besmara |

Everyone not separated by ------ have the smae initiative and can move when they come and see new posts. If you want to wait for someone action post.
Satinder readied action goes first, then Mael's actions, then I move the rats.
Satinder sees an dire rat right in front of her and attacks it with her dagger but the rat evaded it by a hair breadth.
1d20 + 3 ⇒ (9) + 3 = 121d6 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6
Mael you're on

Maeleg Valdemar |

Maeleg places himself in front of Skaldi to protect him from the rats. If he can, he'll then attack the nearest rat.
Target would be rat 6 I guess
Attack (dagger) :1d20 + 1 ⇒ (20) + 1 = 21
Critical confirmation :1d20 + 1 ⇒ (18) + 1 = 19
Hoping it's confirmed : 2d4 ⇒ (3, 3) = 6

DM Besmara |

I take that as a readied action to attack an approaching rat.
Lux you see one of the rats heading for your leg but before it can bite you kick it back. Satinder as you are focused in the rat in front of you another one of them comes at you from the side and bites your leg. Fortitude roll:1d20 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8. Mael you see a rat heading your way but before it can bite you. You move swiftly and certain sinking your dagger in its head. Rat 3 is dead(Dying in truth but no one cares.)
Rat21d20 + 1 ⇒ (15) + 1 = 161d4 ⇒ 2
Rat11d20 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 31d4 ⇒ 3
Skaldi and Lux you're on.

Skaldi the Tallest |

Skaldi tosses the prepared rune into the summoning sack and calls out once more in Sylvan.
Fish-Snatcher
Far-Seer
Sky Screamer
I call thee! I call thee! I call thee!
The sack billows and swells. Rather suddenly an eagle bursts out of the mouth of the bag and lunges towards some rats.
Talon: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 81d20 + 3 ⇒ (12) + 3 = 15
Bite: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 11
Talon Damage: 1d4 ⇒ 11d4 ⇒ 2
Bite Damage: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (1) + 3 = 41d4 ⇒ 2
Eagle is between Satinder and Lux. Attacking Rat 6

DM Besmara |

The eagle's lunge is certain and its talons cut into flesh, but the rat was too swift, ofr it to complete its attack with a bite. One of the talons hit: Rat 6 takes 2 of damage.

DM Besmara |

Lux told me by PM he bashes one of the rats so:
Lux swings his hatchet downward making a clean cut and nearly severing the rats head.
1d20 + 4 ⇒ (18) + 4 = 221d6 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6
Rat 1 is dead.
End of Round 1
Round 2
First PC group you're on!
PC Group 1 (2 PCs)

Mice Group A (2)

PC Group 2 (2 PCs)

Mice Group B (4,5,6)

Satinder Morne |

Attack of opportunity: 1d20 ⇒ 3 (+...)
Attack: 1d20 + 3 + 2 ⇒ (18) + 3 + 2 = 23
Dmg: 1d4 + 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (4) + (3) + 3 = 10
Url: acrobatics
Satinder tries to get around rat 6, succeeds, and attacks the rat from behind.

DM Besmara |

Satinder moves in tandem with the rolling decks and swiflty cross to behind the rat that attacked her. Time for revenge: Satinder sinks her dagger deep in the rats gut killing it.
Rat 6 is dead
One more PC for PCG1

Terz "Lux" |

For the record the interwebs ate my epic attack on rat 5. But I see that it did not last till morning. 10 bucks says me repost will not be a 23 to hit and 9 damage like it was last night.
Round 1 action:
Lux shakes off the thoughts of missing armor and only one axe and takes a sweeping whack at Rat 5.
Attack Boarding Axe 1 Handed: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (19) + 4 = 23
Damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9
Well don't I feel silly. The fact that my rolls are exactly the same suggests that I hit preview last night and not submit. Yet I blame the interwebs . . .

DM Besmara |

So rat 5 is dead and 6 is alive Xd
The rat you just attacked tries to bite you as you pull back your arm. But to your luck he fails and bites simply air.
1d20 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 41d4 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5
Next PC group you're on, in this case Lux and Skaldi.

Terz "Lux" |

Sorry gang I have been really off my game. After thinking I posted but didn't I then missed that DM Besmara rolled for me. I will keep a better eye on things.
Round 2 actions
Lux hisses from deep in his throat at the rat before him. He drops his axe heavily at Rat 6.
attack: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 4 = 8
damage: 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (6) + 3 = 9

DM Besmara |

Skaldi the water at the bilges make you misjudge distance turning a possible fatal attack in a cut. Rat 2 Takes 2 dmg At the same time Lux swing his axe at another rat, but the little creature evades. Then it counterattacks biting your arm before you can draw it back. Lux you take 5 dmg Another of the rats runs and tries to hide among the chaos in the bilges.
Rat4:1d20 + 18 ⇒ (1) + 18 = 19=Perception DC 19.
Rat6:1d20 + 1 ⇒ (16) + 1 = 171d4 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4
By the way I forgot to make it clear before but Satinder took 2 dmg in that early attack in round 1.
1d20 + 3 ⇒ (16) + 3 = 19
1d20 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 2 = 8
End of Round 2
Round 3
First PC group you're on!

Satinder Morne |

Satinder moves closer, slowly, and signals Maeleg to take position oposite her.
"We will attack it from both sides, Mael, okay?"
Standard action: ready for flanking
Readied action (later): attack
>> attack: 1d20 + 3 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 3 + 2 = 19
>> damage: 1d4 + 1d6 + 3 ⇒ (2) + (6) + 3 = 11

Maeleg Valdemar |

Maeleg can't help himself and winks at Satinder.
"Sure, darling."
He takes a step to his right (5 ft to west), checks that Satinder is in position and strikes at the rat.
Attack: 1d20 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 1 + 2 = 23
Critical confirmation: 1d20 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 1 + 2 = 9
Damage: 1d4 ⇒ 2

Satinder Morne |

DM Besmara |

The rat gets caught between Satinder and Mael, both daggers sinking into its flesh one after the other. Rat 2 is dead
I allow it Skaldi, since I completely forgot it too.
Second Group you're on

Skaldi the Tallest |

The eagle swoops forward, talons extended.
Talons: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (14) + 3 = 171d20 + 3 ⇒ (17) + 3 = 20
Bite: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8
Talon Damage: 1d4 ⇒ 41d4 ⇒ 3
Bite Damage: 1d4 ⇒ 3
Seeing the last of the rats go down, Skaldi relaxes a bit. Where in the Lantern Kings light do rats grow this big? He looks over his companions, Is everyone well.

DM Besmara |

Apparently all the rats being dead, you are no all workless and with a rare opportunity to ransack the bilges and explore the lower deck, nearly without worries. Except maybe time.
Sorry I took so long to post, I completely underestimated how swamped I would get this weekend.

DM Besmara |

Skaldi as you search the bilges you find the hidding rat, but you all fastly slay the little vermin. You also find a hole leading to the lower deck suggesting that the rats boarded with cargo and bited a hole trough to the bilges, near the hole you see a shining thing upon inspecting you realize its a transparent vial with a sun paited upon it, similar to many vials of holy water you have seen sold at temples.
I'm not gonna do combat for this. Armor is leather. Of the normal variety, not the studded ones.

Satinder Morne |

"I believe it is water that has been blessed, as to effect undead. Never used it, but I've heard tales of it having the same effect as acid on your body."
She then looks around.
"Well, I can't try on the armour if everyone is looking at me..", she winks and turns around slightly.
"I hope it's my size!"
Anyone wants dibs, go ahead and say it! No problem, just want to make sure someone takes it :)

Maeleg Valdemar |

Maeleg puts his dagger back in its hidden sheath and takes a mace. When he hears Satinder, he turns to face her and grins.
"Go ahead, we're looking."
I guess you can also take the buckler : Lux seems to want to use 2 weapons and Skaldi and I are not proficient with shields.

DM Besmara |

You guys can explore the lower deck or go directly report to the first mate, need to know what ya want to do

Satinder Morne |

"You guys want to look around some more, while I keep the first mate busy? Won't be long, but I can buy us a few minutes.."

DM Besmara |

Yes you guys can search the lower decks.
hold (area A10). Owlbear Hartshorn is invariably chained
to the foremast here to keep him from causing trouble and to keep people out of the officers’ cabin. Another flight of stairs in the aft section next to the galley leads up to the captain’s quarters (area A5), but it is common knowledge among the crew that the door is trapped. Stored near the mainmast are two light ballistas, a disassembled light catapult, and 12 barrels containing 20 gallons of oil each.

Satinder Morne |

Satinder will walk up slowly, with two rats in her hands, whistling.
"There, that's two big ones for the stew. Yummy!"

Maeleg Valdemar |

Maeleg goes swiftly behind Skaldi.
"Hey ! Skaldi ! I have an idea. Yesterday, I was just .. well.. exploring a bit the ship. I went to the middle hold and there was this huge man chained to the foremast. I didn't have enough time to speak with him and anyway I know I'm not too good at that but you, you have a silver tongue, you could try to chat with him. Maybe he could make a good ally. What do you think ?"

Maeleg Valdemar |

"That's right. Chained to the mast. Foremast. Didn't have time to speak with him and that rhum they give us kept me from asking the crew. Maybe he's there because he's too dumb or too savage or both. But we won't know if we don't try."
Maeleg leads the way to the middle hold, keeping an eye on every corner.

Skaldi the Tallest |

Hmm... Odd. Skaldi proceeds forward to the mast, where he's greeted by Owlbear.
Do I smell alcohol around him?
Greetings and well met Owlbear! His tone is friendly and respectful. If Owlbear is laughing at his poor self, Skaldi isn't laughing along. If he's just an idiot that doens't understand how to tell a joke, Skaldi will certainly laugh with him. Depends on the laugh, really.
I am Skaldi, the Tallest. he says looking up at the brute. This is my friend Mael.

DM Besmara |

You smell no alchohol near him. Owbear looks at you and answers: "I'm Owlbear!" with a loud voice he then luks at you both and asks "Do you like joke?" Upon closer inspection you notice the reason his eyes don't focus in the same place is because Owlbear right eye is half-blind.

DM Besmara |

"Joke? Sparrow! Sparrow!" Owlbear begins to move his arms up and down, at the same time you can see tears welling up in his eyes. You are probably the first one to treat him as anything more than a beast. Owlbear is friendly.

Skaldi the Tallest |

Does Owlbear have enough room to maneuver comfortably? Can he kneel? If he's guarding the officer's quarters, I'm guessing he's able to move about a bit.
That's a mighty fine sparrow, Owlbear. Skaldi says, laughing with him. He looks like he's lost in thought for a moment, then an idea comes to him rather dramatically, What do you think of dogs?
