Wikia. Map Bilges Fatigued: Lux.

His arms are tied with a chain that circles the mast so he can circle it and he is relatively comfortable

"Dogs? Owlbear know dogs, like dogs... Know dogs no more, only sparrow, fish" He then tries to point awkwardly to the pigs and adds: "Pigs... Mr. Plugg says Owbear like pigs why Owlbear is tied."

Male Half-Elf Summoner 1

Did you know there's a secret dog on the ship? He lets the question sink in for just a moment. He has to hide or Mr Plugg will throw him overboard. Would you like to meet him?

Wikia. Map Bilges Fatigued: Lux.

"Dog? Owlbear like see dog..." Answers Owlbear while looking at you Skaldi. Around the same time Lux hears steps coming out of the kitchen.

Male Half-Elf Summoner 1

Alright, but you have to keep quiet about him. Remember, Plugg would toss him over. With that Skaldi heads behind some crates and summons a dog as stealthily as he can.

Sylvan:
Fowl-Finder
Cat-Chaser
Lead-Puller

I call thee, I call thee, I call thee

Shortly afterward he walks out with a shaggy brown dog following along.

The dog appears happy to see Owlbear and happily trots up to him.

Shh Skaldi pre-empts as the dog approaches.

Wikia. Map Bilges Fatigued: Lux.

Owlbear looks at the dog in a strange way and the tear welling up in his eyes begin to fall moisting his body, he tries to touch the dog but the chains keep him from moving."Dog! Dog! Owlbear keep secret dog in the ship. Owlbear thank. Showed dog"

Male Half-Elf Summoner 1

At that point Skaldi will actually lift the dog so Owlbear can pet the creature. Soon enough, though, the dog has to go.

Alright, Owlbear. He has to go hide again. Skaldi will set the dog down and let it run off into the shadows, where the summoning will wear off.

Do you need anything? He sounds concerned. He's not trying to barter. He's not trying to trade. He's just offering to help.

Lux whispers "Someone is coming." He grabs the wound he recieved from the rat as if it was suddenly giving him more trouble. He winks at his companions if they seem concurred. He ambles about a little light headed.

If any one comes in. "Rats big ones. One of the manged bastsrds run up this way."

Wikia. Map Bilges Fatigued: Lux.

"Owlbear hungry..." Says the chained man slowly. Lux soon you hear heavy fottsteps coming down the stairs and you see Kroop carrying a plate of food. When he sees you he appears surprised. After a great hiccup he speaks: "Eh... Seens serious maybe ya should talk with that lass what was her name again? Sandra? Sand? eh well ya know..." He is going to turn climb updeck again but he notices Skaldi talking with Owlbear. You can see the conflicting emotions playing on his face but finally he decides and says: "Well truth be told I'm here with food for him." He says while pointing with his head towards Owlbear. "First-mate told me to only give him remains, but ya know poor guy is already chained and all... Ya keep this secret and I help ya guys with what I can deal?"

Male Aasimar (Garuda-blooded) Gunslinger 1

Maeleg looks at his companion.
"We are Owlbear's friends and we take care of our friends. Deal."
This ship is worse than I thought. Besmare, are you sure that is a pirate ship and not a cheliaxan one ?

Male Male Catfolk Slayer 1 | HP 12 | AC 16, FF 10, Touch 13 | F +5, R +6, W -1 | Init +3 | P +3

Lux seeming more coherent again looks to the others, "We should be going. Nice to meet you Owlbear. I'm the cat. Friends call my Lux." Lux smiles. "Lets get the rat corpses. If they are going to have us catch rats for stew may as well eat well.

Wikia. Map Bilges Fatigued: Lux.

Kroop nods to you then approaches Owlbear and holds the plate so Owlbear can eat, which the giant of a man does ravenously. "There lad calm down a bit eh?"

Male Half-Elf Summoner 1

It seems the ship is full of secrets... I'm sure none are surprised.

As Skaldi leaves with the others, he looks over his shoulder and lays a finder over his lips. He's trying to indicate something along the lines of "Keep him secret."

No! I won't! It would be like murdering a child to prove a point.

Wikia. Map Bilges Fatigued: Lux.

When you return to the main deck Mr.Plugg is supervisioning the working crew, in other words he is glaring in all directions while he walks around doing nothing. When he notice you he asks: "Done? So what it was in the re?

After showing the rats to him, he tells you to go back to your duties: "Go back to yar duties! I expect ya still remember what they are right? He then goes back to glaring everywhere"

You guys have the same duty, same roll, you can take another daytime action now.

While he hunts rats and other vermins, Maeleg tracks down the young Jack Scrimshaw and tries to win his favor.
"Are you all right mate ? You were right, there were some nasty critters in those bilges. We took care of them. Between people aboard the same ship, it's a good thing to help each other."
Daytime action:
Influence Jack Scrimshaw, Diplomacy: 1d20 ⇒ 18

Male Half-Elf Summoner 1

Does influencing Owlbear count as my daytime action or was that just a perk?

Wikia. Map Bilges Fatigued: Lux.

A perk.

Wikia. Map Bilges Fatigued: Lux.

Mael:
Yeah, Got scared that thing rushed at me, I thought it would bite my hand off.Scrinshaw nods at your words: By the way I carve things ya know? That is why they call me Scrinshaw. I carve something for ya if ya want. Even give a discount.

Satinder:
Grok is having a discussion with Conchobar when you reach the store. C'mon lady. I need my rabbit foot, it is as important as my life. Okay, okay you fancy jacket, take it! You see Grok giving Conchobar a the feet. At which point the gnome leaves. He tips his flamboyant hat to you as he passes: Greetings lady! then continues updeck. When you enter the store Grok asks: So lass what ya want?

Male Aasimar (Garuda-blooded) Gunslinger 1

Jack Scrimshaw:
"You carve things ? That's a rather useful skill. Do you think you could show me one your works this evening ? I'd be interested in a carving but first, I'll have to find where they put my things when they.. recruited .. us. I fear they forgot to tell us that kind of details."
He laughs heartily with those last words.
"If you need help or something, come to me lad, I'll do what I can. A man, whoever his father is, has to look after his own in the world and I always look after my friends."

She looks at Conchobar leaving, and says: "What's up with the rabbit's foot? This guy been hitting the grog too much? "

Male Half-Elf Summoner 1

Skaldi moves about the ship, keeping at his tasks just enough to avoid trouble. His real goal is to track down Conchobar Shortstone and strike up anothe conversation.

Lux heads back to work.

I am going to keep an eye out for Sandra. To see if she can help me with my injuries. I think that qualifies as shirking.
climbing: 1d20 + 12 - 2 ⇒ (12) + 12 - 2 = 22

Satinder:
"Don't know don't care, if a guy believes a rabbit foot's gonna give 'im luck whom I to say no?" She then luck seriously at you and adds: "Now that depends on what you're interested in giving."

Mael:
"Useful? Yes, not so useful when they ask ya to help cutting an arm or something. Well see ya later"

Lux:
You do find Sandara she is doing repairs aceross the ship, when the red-head notice you she makes an alluring smile and asks "So cat, here for the eyecandy? the good conversation? Or is it the wounds?" She gives a pointed look towards your wounds.

Skaldi:
You do find Conchobar he is happily working carrying a small rabbit foot in one hand. You need to roll your work.

Acrobatics (untrained): 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (10) + 0 = 10

Conchobar, my good man, just the fellow I was looking to find. He glances at the rabbit's foot. A rabbit's foot? Surely you don't think that'll bring you luck at sea.

Wikia. Map Bilges Fatigued: Lux.

Skaldi:
"It won't but that trader told me I needed it to avoid storms. All pirates have one right? Damn I must find that man again and duel him!" Conchobar is agitated by your words, apparently the gnome really believed in the feet's power.

Male Male Catfolk Slayer 1 | HP 12 | AC 16, FF 10, Touch 13 | F +5, R +6, W -1 | Init +3 | P +3

Lux smiles, "Reverse the order, wounds, conversation and if I am that pleasing to the eye . . . He makes playful display of flexing, so over the too to not be serious.

Male Half-Elf Summoner 1

The Gullible Short Man:
I hate to break it to you... If you want luck at sea you need a raven's beak or maybe a foot. He smiles, I'll keep an eye out. Maybe you're lucky and Grok has one in the store.

He jerks his chin at the rabbit's foot and says Keep it around. If you wind up on land it'll still help out quite a bit. I hear the Lost Prince will overlook a man carrying a rabbit's foot.

Male Aasimar (Garuda-blooded) Gunslinger 1

Jack Scrimshaw:

"Cutting an arm seems a waste of skill for a sculptor but saving a life is often a good thing. But maybe we can help for that the next time it's needed. Satinder and Lux seem awfully good with cutting things and if you'd rather do something else I'm sure we can manage something to help you. What do you think ?"

Satinder:
"Actually yes, Kroop is terrible at keeping record, so I don't really know how much food there is in store, so go count! See what is in the kitchens and what's in the cargo." She nods towards the door telling you to leave for now. Make two perception checks here.

Skaldi:
"Seriously? Well good man. I thank you, if you ever in need call Conchobar Turlach Shortstone. Greatest voice of the seas!""Must get a raven's beak"

Lux:
"Let me see that wound then." says Sandara laughing she touches your wounded arm and makes a prayer: "Besmara grant this pirate health so he can brave the seas." Sandara's hand glow as she pray and soon closed without leaving even a mark. Cure light wounds:1d8 + 3 ⇒ (8) + 3 = 11 Finally the red-head nods: "Well wounds closed, so what was in the bilges?"

The Voice:
Certainly. Surely you've heard of luck eaters. It's related to them. The beak eats away your bad luck. The food carries good luck.

Male Aasimar (Garuda-blooded) Gunslinger 1

Jack Scrimshaw:
"Wise decision, lad, I'll do the same."

Wikia. Map Bilges Fatigued: Lux.

Satinder:
You can take 10 for the storage, but not for the kitchens. Trying to find things in the mess tha is Kroop's kitchen is difficult, very very difficult, you spent nearly all the rest of the day writing things down. At least as you searched for things in the kitchen's you found a masterwork dagger being used as a butcher's knife. When you come back to Grok the half-orc nods impressed: "Good lass, now you want your equipment back. Well here you got it." She takes the a wrapped bundle and gives it to you. When you look inside it all of your stolen equipment is here. She then adds: "I'm closing here girl. I'm hungry, thirsty so c'mon move it!" All of this is enriched by swearing.

Skaldi:
"OH I see! That makes sense. Keep an eye for me if you see a raven's beak will you? I get you something in return."

[spoiler=Mael]Both of you part to continue working.

I'm gonna move on, if anyone wants to say something else do so in spoilers

As is routine you all are called to deck before dinner, for the bloody hour, both Scourge and Plugg are present besides the mast. After glaring everywhere he begins to talk: "Bird-brain you are the worse vermin catcher I had the misfortune of having on my ship. But I let it pass because of your bilges-hunting!" He then turns towards Jack: "Lad you are a pirate! A sailor! Man up!" Finally he turns towards Skaldi: "While bird-brains imcompetence can be excused you total lack of effort cannot! You take three lashes!"

Again Skaldi is tied to the masts to receive a whipping by Master Scourge, this time tough he remains silent, the only obvious emotion in the glee in his eyes as Mr. Plugg makes the count.

ONE!
1d3 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5

TWO!
1d3 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 2 = 4

THREE!

Skaldi agains falls uncouncious, this time Sandara help you carry him and heals his wounds so he that he wakes up a few moments later.

You guys can take your night actions, there is grog going around, and that is that.

DM:
HUZZAH!! Satinder is back on track. Now to get the rest helped, and we're good to go. Updating the character sheet asap!

Can I get a "normal" knife or two from the kitchen, to give to Lux? He is a two-weapon fighter, want to help him :)

Satinder will sing another song, and use the excuse to lose her grog in the crowd. Whilst being hauled up on stage, she will leave it on the table she passes last, and leave on the other side. That stuff is filthy!

She will look for Jack Scrimshaw in the crowd, the young man, and end her performance by sitting down on his lap, and looking him in the eyes, and winking to the crowd.

Diplomacy: 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (17) + 0 = 17
Don't remember if I still have the +2 from yesterday's song?

Lux heads over to Skaldi picks him up and carries over to Sandra, "Are you able to help here as well? We are in your debt."

Male Half-Elf Summoner 1

After Sandara heals him, Thank you Lux. Sandara. I always appreciate knowing who my friends are. Maybe tomorrow he'll choose a task I can excel at. You'd think he would, to keep a ship running smoothly and all.

He spends most of dinner resting and recouperating. Much like Satinder he leaves his cup of rum sitting on a table, ignoring it. Less like Satinder, he doesn't have a decent excuse to just walk away from the ration.

Stealth: 1d20 + 0 ⇒ (6) + 0 = 6

Eventually he'll rise and track down Shivakh and sweeten her attitude a bit.

Diplomacy: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (18) + 11 = 29

DM:
No change of attitude of Jack with my Diplomacy check ? (at lest I try ;) )

Wikia. Map Bilges Fatigued: Lux.

His attitude did change, sorry I update it now

Sandara nods at your thanks Skaldi and adds: "To be fair you weren't trying very hard were you?" she says that while smiling though.

Skaldi:
Scourge and one of his cronies forces you to drink the grog ration, you need to roleplay if you want to influence a hostile character, because depending on what you say such character might not even let you finish.

Satinder:
You need to roll performance. That bonus is over; You see the lad blushing but trying to keep himself under control: "Eh lady? he asks timidly. At the same time the crowd begin's to smile some even laugh directly.

Lux Mael your nightly actions and reaction to grog

Male Aasimar (Garuda-blooded) Gunslinger 1

Maeleg takes his cup of rhum and sits near Tilly Brackett.
"Hello. Name is Maeleg. You could find another surname if you wish but try to forget bird brain, that would be appreciated."
He winks and laughs with those last words and puts his cup on the table.
"Pleased to meet you."
He'll chat with her and try to win her over (trying to make her helpful), hoping she'll drink his cup of grog as it seems she likes rhum.

He makes his way to Satinder, he looks around to make sure no one is paying close attention, "How was your day? I know you can take care of yourself, but these days I take most anything Plugg says as a hanging threat."

night time action:
Influnce Rosie diplomacy: 1d20 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (18) + 1 + 2 = 21

Skaldi will force himself to retch as soon as Plugg and his cronie are gone.

The Grumpy Mwangi:
You there! You want someone with a stern tongue to talk with you. You've got it. What is your issue? Skaldi starts from the get-go with a firmer approach than Mael. Tip-toeing is obviously not the approach with this woman.

Satinder:
It's only one action then, XD. While Jack is unconfortable with the attention he does not find it unpleasant.

Lux:
Rosie does seems to enjoy your talk with her.

Mael:
"Feather-head? Well I accept that drink of yours." She then laughs as she drinks from your cup.

Perception DC 12:
You notice Fipps and Jape talking with Ratline. While Fipps is smiling, Jape looms menancingly and Ratline looks scared.

Perception DC 17:
You hear part of their conversation: "You know master Scourge doesn't like these news so you best stay away from them if you know what is good for you."

She winks suggestively.

For once we agree. I like her as well.

Skaldi watches her leave and mulls some things over. He heads to his rack to consider what might else be of use today.

I think that's all for Skaldi tonight, though he's heavily considering heading down to visit Owlbear in the middle of the night.

Skaldi heads for his bunk for the night, probably done with whatever he's been up to.

Wikia. Map Bilges Fatigued: Lux.

Satinder:
Ratline looks at you but he answers that he is busy and goes below deck. You do make friends of Jack though.

I'm moving on
Day 3 - Something in the bilges END.

When the ship's clock wake you up, you are not greeted by the sun, but by the sound of pouring water, you are greeted by heavy rain, still that is no rest for pirates and sailor thus you are all called to be assigned your duties by Mr Plugg.

"Kitten! You're doing upper rigging work today!"
Climb check and sailor check -2 on the checks because of the rain.

"Bird-brain! You're one of our runners today, I hope you can pass messages better than catching rats."

Acrobatics and constituion check

"You magic-boy is going to scrub the decks!"

Either strength or constitution check

Kroop is dead drunk again! So I have to supervise you again, today the captain has asked for ship so you're gonna fish!
