I have to consider this,
I just know me, and I could easily abuse this too much.
Purely for my own amusement, of course. :P
Still,... I CAN see the 'experienced' and worldly Cleric of Caydean having a younger, brash and irrepressible youthful priest-in-training that he is constantly having to bail out of trouble. Sort of like a Dartagnan, (I can't spell that name)
Of course, it would REALLY be more likely that the young priest-in-training is the responsible one, constantly bailing his mentor out of trouble. :D

I was thinking halfling lackey for Gerolamo, so there's no towering over the hero. I have a halfling warrior built, but that may not be the best NPC choice. Experts are kind of nice because of all the skills. It's fine to have 3-4 Knowledge skills on them so you guys don't have to worry about covering those.
Maybe a halfling librarian...?

pinvendor |

I wasn't really serious, lol. I was expecting something more on the lines of followers like Leadership that don't have any real stats and basically just watch your pony while your in the dungeon of demons. :P
Portia just probably has her maid and overqualified butler who would grab her and hustle her home if she got in over her head. Which I imagine would be a lot of the time, so they must be terrible at their job, or secretly indulge her beyond what might be prudent.

GM Treppa |

I was kind of noodling about your character, pin, since you're not a Musketeer. You wouldn't have a lackey like Planchet or Grimaud, because they're hireling servants of a particular individual. There would be household servants, of course, but then I got thinking about something like Constance - a confidential lady's maid who's in on your secrets and willing to risk her life to help with them. I dunno. What do you think?

Ragadolf |

I'm beginning to think every adventurer needs a lackey.
I,... will not disagree with this,... ;)
I AM working on my PC (for both new threads) even when I'm HOME I'm flippin busy!
Basically the same as the suggestion that you posted before Treppa, I'm tweaking a few things, but taking all of the advice and trying to find that one 'quirk' that I can use to make it a memorable PC.
(And the one I can have the most fun with!) ;P

GM Treppa |

Hiya,
When you give me your character's personal info, be sure to include a thumbnail sketch of their personality. A few I know:
pin: spoiled brat longing to be a hero
Mahorf: Reepicheep! Excessively honorable tiny fighter.
Meows: Gambler to the bone, rolls dice to see what to eat for dinner.
If it's like one of the existing Musketeers, just name them.
Donkey,
Treppa

SO, Picked 1 trait
(Reckless, needed to make Acrobatics a Class skill, Very important!)
But there are SO many other fitting good ones! Both for a ladies man, and /or a cleric of Caydean!)
Accelerated drinker,
Thrill seeker
Fortified drinker
Alluring
Adventurous imbiber
Reckless Luck
Fast talker
So,... on with the rest of the PC, ;P

Ragadolf |

You asked for it!
I mean, Thank you! ;)
OK, so I am used to playing Wizzies with High IQ, (And ergo lots of skill points) With a Int 10 Human I have 3 /lvl max (2 class +1 Human, if i don't put it into HP instead) :P
(Stats currently at: Str 10, Dex 16, Con 14, Int 10, Wis 16, Cha 14)
So,... Bluff looks very useful for a swashbuckling Cleric, but its not on the Cleric list. SO what trait gives you Bluff as a Class skill? (I guess I could just use it non-class, but it falls behind in usefulness pretty quickly)
I think I'd like to go the 'Amorous/Charming lover' Route with this guy, a'la Athos. (OK, he'll be the DRUNK amorous lover guy)
Even thinking of taking the Charm domain along with Travel.
I COULD use Diplomacy to charm my way into their skirts, But with Bluff being so useful in combat, ... (And it sounds more fun to BLUFF my way into,... certain situations!) :D

GM Treppa |

+1 human no matter what, +1 favored class if you don't do HP. So that's potentially 2 per level over class+INT
Athos was a misogynist. :P
What about: Charming: Blessed with good looks, you've come to depend on the fact that others find you attractive. You gain a +1 trait bonus when you use Bluff or Diplomacy on a character that is (or could be) sexually attracted to you, and a +1 trait bonus to the save DC of any language-dependent spell you cast on such characters or creatures.
Or: Campaign Conspiracy Hunter (Council of Thieves) Choose one of the following skills: Bluff, Diplomacy, Knowledge (local), Perception, Sense Motive, or Stealth. You gain a +1 trait bonus on this skill and it is always considered a class skill for you.
Since this is a follow-on to CoT, you can use that one.

LOL! I know the feeling!
OK lads and lasses, here it is (A VERY short version, (the usual stat block) I usually keep a VERY long detailed character sheet in the profile, which admittedly makes it hard to find things sometimes) ;P

Okay, sorry -- it was my birthday weekend and there was a bit more time spent getting ready for people to come over than I'd expected (and, in fact, that was warranted based on people bailing).
That said, it'll be Vittorio (the bloodrager).
I kept wanting to do the Magus, but two things came up -- one, I could really only figure out a personality of the "I'm so intelligent I'll outthink you" type (because, of course, I wanted the appropriate musketeerish swagger), and it didn't really quite fit in with my plan (especially given that the ego would be a little off, as a non-full BAB class).
So, Vittorio's an Urban Bloodrager (per Heroes of the Streets), he's more about the controlled focused state of mind (and will most likely be boosting his dex more often) -- with the destined bloodline.
I'll get the sheet up and the background (at least a point form version) and the list of folks I know -- I'd say tonight, but it's already 8:30 and I've got to avoid being killed by the wife -- so let's say within 24 hours. Went destined bloodline -- Vittorio's going to be the affable, slightly annoying, impulsive person who literally knows he was born under a good sign and so doesn't necessarily worry about the negative consequences of his actions.

GM Treppa |

Belated happy birthday! Hope it was a good time. :)
I have either gotten into a patch of major allergens or am coming down with the flu and haven't gotten much sleep, which has discombobulated my writing. Do you mind if we review and finish characters, backstories, and lackeys this week so we're ready to roll? Oh, the other characteristic the Musketeers have is their lodgings. If you like, I can list a few places and costs and you guys can choose from among them, except for pinvendor who lives on the estate.
I'm going to spend tonight trying to sneeze softly so as not to wake the neighbors.
